Good spot for the kids to play and walk on the beach. Ice cream shops and hot chips are across the road. Found a few pieces of glass on the beach, be mindful with barefeet.

Great space, close to Orewa shops, adjacent to Orewa Suef Lifesaving Club and Orewa Beach. Right next door to Orewa Holiday Park (Cabins, Powered sites, tent sites). Highly recommended.

Nice beach with lots of treees for schade. There's also a playground, made up of various smaller groups of equipment, parallel to the beach. Also basket ball court available. The main playground has 2 tunnel slides, plenty of swings and more. Picnic tables nearby, as well as a public toilet.

Great stretch of beach! Not crowed, so much we could enjoy some cricket and ball kicking on the shore. Kids playgrounds is very nice. Some good restaurants just opposite the beach as well as a countdown for those "forgotten" items... Recommended

Great place for family and to soak up some sun. Great beach for water sports too.

The beach and reserve are lovely places for families. Lots of things happen here. Loved the fireworks at the surf club. Classic car show. Gypsy fair. Love the walks along the beach even in the rain. Playground is a great place for the kids. Shops and food nearby. Just a great place.

Nice, clean, safe, friendly. The odd sea lice/larvae but I never got affected by it. Gets packed depends on which day you go so parking takes a while (like it would at a mall).

Family of 6 stayed at the Orewa Camp Ground in a cabin. Was cheap and fun being right next to the child safe beach. great people, food and weather . lots to see and do.
