Really good facilities. Swimming pool always is nice temperature and kids pool always warm. The swimming lessons for kids are run really well and great price. Cafe is nice and quick service.

Pool customer only: Quite like the place, regular pool + spa + sauna and kid pool. Friendly and polite staff! (Maybe too friendly see below) Maybe a bit pricey ($8+). Would be just good if the staff enforce sur rule about swimwear. There is always some discussing people going in the pool fully dress with their outdoor clothes 😳 like short + regular underwear+ t-shirt, like some dads in their 30s with their kids. Mind-blowing every time. As an another customer it's not my role to lecture them in front of their kids. Otherwise would be a 4+ star rating

Yes, the best gym/fitness center in Whangaparaoa peninsula!!! This leisure centre is far better than other Auckland Council leisure centres. Well maintained by great support staff. Unlike other Auckland Council leisure centres, the staff here clean the equipments several times in a day. Awesome knowledgeable trainers at the gym with excellent support and motivation. I love to workout at this gym...

It's a fun place but, for 2 days me and my family wanted to come but then they said that the pool is full and we can't swim yet and had to wait 45 minutes just to go in to swim. The next day they said that it's full again, the splash pad Is the only thing opened and that they are going to close early since there is not enough life guards. Then that's their problem to fix or sort out and why can't they just make the pool bigger and use some staff in the back that atleast know how to swim. It's a small pool and I'm sure they don't need much lifeguards. Very dissapointng.

Our girls really enjoyed the holiday club! It was their first time an I will gladly book them again! The pricing is much cheeper than the other programs in the area and they get to swim if they want to as well!

Can't do anything anymore I go there with my friends now and make 1 small splash and get kicked out. the place isn't fun anymore you guys got ride of everything and I'm not gonna drive 30 minutes to a different one just to do bombs. Please just fix your rules and add a bit more fun for older kids

I haven’t used the gym there, but the pools are normally good fun. Great for exercise, but more entertaining stuff would be really great. Used to go all the time with mates ~14/15, and normally not many water toys and such out. Last time I went we had to beg just for a ball.

I always feel so refreshed after the spa and sauna. It’s fun with friends and romantic with hubby - a new regular stop after a long day!

The splash pad is free for kids. So kind.

Traveled from West Auckland to swim at the pools today 23.01.2021. Just to be told. Pools closed as they only have two guards on and they were at there limit. All paying adults. O well your lose. Think before we ever come back. You would think there would be more life guards on in the weekends

Stanmore Bay Pool and Leisure Centre is probably the most mature sports location in the Whangaparaoa Peninsula. Being Auckland Council run, it is overly procedural even when the Council’s procedures exceed logical or even legal requirements. That said, the facilities are very well maintained. It would be good to have some of the facilities available at other Auckland Council-operated leisure centres.

Swimming facilities and prices for toddlers/young children are excellent.
