Winter Wonderland is great for kids, but needs more powdery snow. It was mostly ice and super slippery. It's great if you just want to toboggan or sled down the slopes but you can't really have a snow fight as there isn't enough snow to play with. Other than that it's a great place for a family outing!

we went here for our sons 6th birthday. The booking online/packages were a bit confusing. I had to FB message them to clarify what they all meant. When we arrive the sign in area was all good but then when we got the area to get our equipment its a bit of a mess. That process could be better. Once inside though it was a good experience for the family, had we know that parents could enter without getting all the gear we would have done that instead. The highlight was the restaurant inside where we can eat and watch the people skiiing down the slope. Will go again for sure

Enjoyed the 1 hour Family Pass at Winter Wonderland. Booking is essential during the current Covid environment. Get there early and give yourself plenty of time to get any hire gear and get changed. The kids and us adults really enjoyed the tobogganing and tubing. It's a good introduction to the snow and ice

Great place for some family fun. Didn't ski or snowboard, just tubing and sledding but so much fun. Cafe pricey, understandably though.

We did the Winter wonderland party package for my daughter’s 6 year old birthday party! The kids had a great time and loved the whole experience! The party room was gorgeous! The food was amazing and the staff were all super helpful! We needed about 1 supervising adult per 4/5 kids.

We had a great day. Kids learnt to ski safely. Friendly staff. The restaurant had an amazing Christmas set up. The kids really want to come back. The only confusion I had was can skiers use the advanced areas or are they just for snow boarders? A great day for the kids. My brother is a skier and loves the saving. I prefer a mountain, but this is a much easier way to teach the kids first. Very safe kids slope with attentive staff.

Great experience being in the snow as always. Make sure to get there 30min before to allow time to get dressed. The temp is -22 and lots of ice that makes slipping frequent. Now if they just had rock climbing on the outside walls.....

Celebrated my grand daughters birthday today. Awesome day. They were not taking booking but we ended up with the chalet room. This absolutely made the day. The food was actually really good and the service was also. It didn't start well but when the manager took over and helped our large group out it was all uphill. Thanks

Experienced the winter wonderland and tubing cause we are inexperienced in skiing and snowboarding. Kids enjoyed it. Cool decor and food was nice too, got the steak sandwich chips and kids burger chips and chicken nuggets and chips. We hired gear bit we came over prepared meaning we didn't need jackets and they refunded that straight away. Thanks 😊.

Santa Experience - best Santa visit we've been to by far and hope to go back next year. The Elfs were smiley and full of festive cheer and Santa was fantastic 🎅 Winter wonderland - awesome setup! So much fun. Definitely absolutely freezing in there and will be wearing warmer clothes next time

It's definitely snow and cold, lol It's a very good idea to get the gear to stay warm. A gr8 place to have some fun

Winter wonderland for small kids review: Staff were very accommodating. 2 year old (almost 3) had a great time on the ring (safer than the sleds). 5 year old loved it. The slope is a lot longer and faster than I anticipated, especially for adults. You definitely need to wait until the bottom is cleared. Snow isn't great for making snowballs or snowmen, but there's plenty of decorations and mini slides to appreciate. Recommend hiring or buying gloves/boots for kids. For adults some thick socks are fine if you're just in the wonderland, and you don't really need gloves/hat unless you intend to play in the snow. Recommend booking/going at opening time. Grab a helmet (covered by your ticket) on your way in if you want to use the rings (on the right once you enter the snow area) or sleds (in the middle of the winter wonderland). You can walk up the slope, or use the moving track that the beginner skiers use to get up.

Loved our time here as a family 2 kids 6yrs and 10yrs. We spent 4 hours here and visited the summit 7 restaurant afterwards. Using a Grabone voucher which made this session exceptionally well priced! With a young family it was great, safe space (and your day can't be ruined by the weather). We visited on a Sunday afternoon in November and it wasn't busy, 1 -2 minute queues for the lifts at the sides and no wait for the magic carpet. Rental and fitting was quick and easy, the 'snow' was dry and not too slushy and the upper half is steep enough for some fun. If you are more advanced there are some jumps and grinds to be done, obviously just lots of repeating short runs so great as an afternoon on the snow but you wouldn't want to do 2-3 days in row (at least I wouldn't). Summit7 was quite busy but we found a table and the food was reasonable and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend for a young family

Wow, what an experience for the kids. I looked the Santa experience for my two children and they both loved it. Best snow experience in Auckland. Pro-tip: take warm and waterproof clothing and shoes. I was surprised at the number of people wearing thin layers of clothing and they looked miserable and cold.

They have good service. We were first time being there, and the workers helped us to buy suitable tickets. And introduced us lessons too.

Very pleasant place spend time at the restaurant while my son is enjoyed so much with snow boarding. Clean and team here are very helpful. Lovely smile with most of the Staff. We have been here 3 time of this week already and everytime have good experience. Thanks team, well done and keep up.

Amazing venue and fantastic service. We have recently celebrated my daughter's 5th B'day and managed to book the chalet as we were a big group. Place is gorgeous and the overall service is great. From booking process arrival, all right to the end... everything was perfect and easy to deal with. Dawn coordinated all the service at chalet and she was spot on with timing. The food was delicious & presentation was great too. The Snow tubbing party at the snow was great for kids but adults enjoyed as much! 🤣 Highly recommended!! A+++ Thanks, Group J

Great indoor snow area. Booked three lessons for 2 adults and for 4yo daughter. Due to long weekend traffic we arrived right On Time causing our lessons to be shorten. We only had time for 15min out of 1hr lessons. As it was a Saturday the location was quite busy. Staff was friendly and instructors were helpful. Booked an another follow up session for my daughter and will arrive way before the session time.
