I never thought that I would choose one local coffee option over the one which has been my favorite for the past 5 years (which will remain nameless for the sake of this review), but when it comes to an excellent-tasting iced latte, Coffee Nook is my new go-to! Renee is so friendly, and she will craft anything to your specific tastes. She knows me by name AND my favorite order! This is a great spot if you're looking for a low-key atmosphere and minimal wait time. Plenty of tables to work at. Recommend!

Great little neighborhood coffee shop in Downtown Hickory. I tell them what I like and they whip it up with all the deliciousness (yes, that's a word) and with a smile! Put this place on your to-do list!

Absolutely love this place!!! Such a breathable comfortable space to work, talk, or just hang out! The owner Renee is such a hardworking, kind person that deserves all the best! They make the absolute best fresh coffee and always has fresh pastries and cold food! Can't wait to see where The Coffee Nook goes!!!

We saw this while walking in downtown and decided to try it. We got an iced matcha with oat milk and it's one of the best matcha drinks I've had while my sister got an iced mocha and that was also really good!

Came here with a friend today and the barista was SO kind! This is a great spot to work from - we were there for hours and had a wonderful experience. The iced chai with almond milk was perfect, and I even tried an iced matcha later in the day which I’m normally not a fan of but this one was sooo good. My friend got a cookie that she let me try some of and it was delicious! The playlist was also 10/10. So glad this place opened this year - such a convenient and great location, and I’d definitely love to visit again the next time I’m in town.

When I walked in I was greeted with a warm welcome and smile. The service was great. I had a hot chai latte which was excellent. I sat in one of the big comfy chairs and read my e-book. I will definitely be back again!

The coffee nook is such a cute and chill spot. The Owner Renee makes amazing blends and my personal favorite is the white mocha with lavender. It’s literally a cup of heaven. Do yourself a favor and try them!

We got our coffee so quickly, and it tasted super good! Not a big menu, but what me and my friends tried was incredible. I highly recommend this place!
