It is a little pricy, but when you get your plate you understand why. Nice presentation, big portions. Service is decent. We usually go for lunch and never had to wait. Huge menu selection. Very clean. Highly recommend El Sarape. Deep fried avacado with shredded chicken inside is my wife’s fav.

Went here last night, the experience was wonderful! The food was delicious, the service was on top of everything, the restaurant was very clean, and the atmosphere was perfect! The chip & salsa are amazing! We will definitely be back!

I love this place and I eat here pretty often, but it’s wen downhill the several visits. Portions seem smaller and the salsa is WAYYYY too watery. I get they’re trying to cut costs and save product, but the salsa is basically just red water at this point. No other Mexican restaurant around has salsa this watered down…

A great family friendly place and warm hot home cook meal for sure! I love the food and the staff are amazing! They have plenty of choices to choose from. And the food are delicious! There’s plentiful parking lot space.

I am an American, I know Mexico and I have many Mexican friends and I have been to many Mexican restaurants and Mexican family gatherings. So from my many years of experience, I can give you a qualified rating of this Mexican restaurant! And I rarely take the time to brag about any establishment! The food is very authentic and delicious! With a wide variety to choose from on the menu. The atmosphere of the restaurant is Mexican, including the music and the presentation of the meals and the employees! The service of the restaurant was quick and friendly and clean! It would definitely be worth your journey to visit this restaurant! Whether you are passing thru to another destination or looking for a good Authentic Mexican Restaurant! Enjoy!

We live in Newton and drive across town to pick up take out from El Sarape. The past 4 times I have ordered for pick up they miss a meal. This time they did not include the meat or guacamole for the beef taco salad. I attempted to call 4 times to get a refund and no one answered at 7pm on a Saturday. It is too far to drive it back and my husband and now hangry because he has nothing to eat.

Me and my husband used to come here all the time but the past two times we have gotten food from them we have found items in our food that should have not even been able to make it into our food. The first time this happened my husband ordered an ACP and when they brought us our food he noticed a hair no big deal it happens, he let our waiter know and he was more than happy to get his food remade. The second plate came out and looked good so my husband began to eat as anyone would and he gives me a weird look and goes to pull something out of his mouth and when I tell you I was shocked I was shocked when he pulled out a rolled up piece of METAL I repeat METAL. We told our waiter and he did not say a word takes his plate and brings us our check. We decided that night we weren’t sure if we wanted to go back. Well it had been a couple of months and last night my husband wanted to give them another chance bad mistake on our part. I just went to reheat my leftovers from last night and I found a piece of hard plastic that I almost broke my tooth on when I bit down into my burrito. We will never ever go back I can’t believe they are so careless that they’d let metal and plastic get into their food and serve it to their customers.

Staff is the most kind people! We love eating here. We came in late once and were the last to leave and not once did they make us feel like we needed to rush out. I love this place

I ordered to pickup. Got all the way home to be missing 2 of our orders. Called to reorder and go alllll the way back and ask for compensation. Was told sorry and stuff happens. I eat there several times a week! I WILL NOT BE BACK!!!! Our business obviously means NOTHING! Via JOSE

I really enjoyed it food was above average generic Mexican place. They had a few things on the menu that I had not seen before in other restaurants. Service was very friendly and attentive.

Was amazing food! A bit pricey but worth every dollar and the drinks were soooo good. I'm very pleased with this place. Had about 10 people there with me. Was a little cramped but we made it work and they do nice things for people's birthday :)

Such a great restaurant. Food is healthy with little fat and no abundance of salt. Staff is very accommodating. Look forward to my next visit.

My family and I love this place. We come at least one time a week. The service is great and the food is always fast and good. Margaritas are delicious!

The food was good the service after being given our plates was pretty much non existent.. We didn't even get our ticket. I had to wait at the check out until someone showed up and tell them what we ate to pay for our meal. The waiter and a female employee were sitting at a booth talking. I don't see coming back anytime soon.

Great food good service while eating. Got to pay and they didn't know why card machine wasn't working so we paid with cash. It took 90 out of our account charging us 3 times!!!! And because they couldn't see it on their end they couldn't do more. Ridiculous taking money and not being good on it. Now it falls on the bank 😡

Great experience tonight. Easily sat a party of seven and the service was great. Food was a bit toned down for Mexican, but man ask for some hot sauce and you are cooking with gas then!

My family and I had dinner here for the first time tonight and it was awesome!!! Our server was wondering, so sweet and she and the wait staff were very efficient. We will definitely be going back.

The wait staff knows us and we know them. Great every time. Tip for eating out? find your spot. get to know the staff. Tip well. They will remember and fight to wait on you.

This is our "go to" Mexican restaurant. They have the top 3 Chili Rellenos I've ever eaten. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. We are lucky to have a restaurant of this caliber in our little town.

Some of the best Mexican food in the area. Love everything about it. Open till late so it's always a great place to come if you don't feel like cooking.

Clean restaurant! Fast seating and fast courteous service. Excellent chicken fajita! A hint of habinaro maybe. Even mix of onion, peppers and chicken. Great drinks too. I would like a t-shirt from there!
