If you are in need of urgent medical care, I highly recommend Island MD urgent care. My recent experience there was fantastic from start to finish. There was minimal wait time, and I was seen by a doctor within minutes of arriving. The doctor was very attentive to my symptoms and concerns. They explained everything clearly so I knew what to expect throughout the process. The treatment I received was top notch and the staff made sure I was comfortable and cared for. Overall my experience was excellent and I highly recommend it to anyone in need of urgent medical care.

No good , made appointment to see primary care on Friday for Saturday, ask me to bring id and insurance on Sat of the appointment, but on Sat said no doctor only PA , so only urgent care. Then told me they can’t verify my insurance cause it’s Sat, portal not open or some B/S, why didn’t ask for it on Friday and verify if u know Sat cannot verify? Or that’s just some B/S u tell ur patients that u have to pay out of ur pocket and reimburse you and then left with a freaking huge amount of bill that insurance won’t cover? Not professionals , will be in my not to go list

I’m very impressed with this facility, I needed forms filled out which were very time sensitive, my pcp was on vacation, they required urine toxicology. I went to City MD who stated we can do the forms can’t perform that test, then Northwell urgent care who stated we don’t do the forms, then I called optimum (pro-health) unable to do. Then I remembered this facility I said let me try my luck, they were my saviors. Very nice facility accommodating and respected that I needed them asap. They did blood test for titers and urine test. The doctor personally told me as soon as the results comes in he will complete the forms. All this was done on Sunday I received a call on Monday my forms are ready. Honestly they earned the 5 stars. I don’t write reviews, this was wee deserved.

We took my son here after he sliced his finger open and the staff was so accommodating! They walked me through everything, while keeping me and my son calm throughout the process! I highly recommend going here! They even followed up after the fact! Wonderful experience!

Island Md care is my choice of urgent care the PA and doctors are well experienced and they’re fast with patients and the place is very clean and spacious lots of room for sitting at the waiting area and the patient rooms. I suggest this urgent care to be your place if you live close by Hicksville, Levittown,Bethpage,westbury Sam😃🙏🙏

I’ve been to this urgent care a few times. My first experience was when I had an allergic reaction with no epi pen and they didn’t want to provide me with a dose of it because it would require observation and they were closing. Fine, I accepted this and moved on. I went again, since it’s so close to my home when I was sick, and the PA doesn’t know what he’s doing. My boyfriend went in as well and had sun poisoning, and the PA only gave steroids for 3 days with swollen lymph nodes. We went to another facility and they said he should’ve been prescribed a cream to remove the infection and dry it out. I’m not sure why but they charged him $100 too for the fee because it’s “after hours” and said they would refund him after contacting his insurance; still no refund! And the card says $40 for urgent care, they didn’t care to acknowledge the card said this and said it’s after hours. I’m not sure what’s going on with this facility but do better!

I took my daughter to Island urgent care for a high fever and cough and the staff was so accommodating and greeted us so nicely. The PA, Ankita was so nice and thorough and took care of my daughter so well. The urgent care is so neat and clean and the kids room are so nicely decorated and makes the kids feel so Comfortable. I would definitely Recommend this place for adults and kids.

I recently walked into this facility suffering from bronchitis. Initially it seemed convenient as my office is just down the block. I registered for an appointment on-line, provided my health insurance card upon arrival and paid my Co-pay. Within an hour I was evaluated, offered additional treatment options and provided with a prescription. Months later there was an issue with billing. I was frustrated and reached out to the third-party billing for assistance to no avail. Island MD reached out to me and immediately addressed the issue. They also contacted me and took responsibility. That is a class act!

Very clean and new office. Staff was very professional and helpful in assisting me while I was there for my visit. I saw the provider Farheen who was a wonderful PA. She is very professional and has a great bedside manner. Would go again!

I’ve been to this urgent care several times and had a great experience with each visit. The staff and providers are professional and kind. The best part of all is that they offer PCP services. Now I officially have my PCP there, ensuring I am getting the best and most convenient medical care.
