Beer excellent, the two ladies serving were attentive as the bar was very busy. The only reason I would not go again is a couple of the regulars were being rude to some of the other customers, in ear shot of us .so thanks for a good pint πŸ‘Ž

This place gets busy - and for good reason. The ale is spot-on and the prices are incredibly reasonable. Everyone very friendly and I would highly recommend popping in.

Lovely little bar which was the only busy place in town the day we were there. Friendly bar staff and customers. Good beer selection and great house beer. Also left my hat and they kindly sent it back to me!

First time visiting and will definitely be back again very soon. As a rookie beer drinking, I was intimidated by the selection. But the wonderful service and advice from the very smiley Paddy put my worries at ease, a wonderful gentleman with incredible service skills. The atmosphere was incredible and soon I was rather tipsy, with a tasty cheese board helping me through. Had a truly wonderful evening with my friends and we will be back again. Thank you!

Went here as we were up in the peaks for the weekend. I've been to a few micropub type places around the UK, but I can honestly say this is one of the best - great selection of drinks (ale, cider, gin etc). There was also a great atmosphere, something sadly lacking from many establishments in this day and age.

The owner and all the staff were absolutely lovely people. They had gins galore and locally brewed craft beers so wholesome that I didn't even feel like a w***** drinking them. Would thoroughly recommend having one or two, or three or four drinks at this establishment.

A great find! Excellent place with great atmosphere to enjoy a beer. Exceptional choice of well kept real ales, ciders and gins with amazingly friendly, knowledgable service by the lovely Annie and great conversation with the owners of the business Tim & Jane. Tim brews his own beer, which is a popular, local choice but unfortunately his latest brew had already sold on Sunday evening. Free warm Scotch pancakes with butter were availble to patrons -this sort of offer being a popular, regular feature. Good, clean facilities as well - always a bonus! Obviously well patronised by local people. Wish we lived closer. Cannot recommend it enough.

Came on Gin day, they had a big selection on and the lady who served us was really helpful and friendly helping us choose. I had forest gin with Mediterranean tonic, came with rosemary and slice of grapefruit and was very tasty! Nice atmosphere and cool decor.

A CAMRA Beer Guide micro bar serving 3 real ales. I was lucky to get the local nano brewery beer on draught. Good pork pies and bottled beer selection. Outdoor seating. Easily the best beer destination in Chapel.
