๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Lovely spot just a few miles out of Whaley Bridge, so an ideal area for a nice walk up to this part of the peak district. From this point (on a nice day) you can see right over to Manchester, but that's on a nice day. So pick your days wisely, because when it rains up there it lashes it down. Nice p... can be reached on foot or by car from Whaley Bridge and Chapel-en-le-frith. the open field may be slippy. to avoid slippy footpath, you can walk on the main road. at top of Eccles Pike A good 360 degree view on surrounding hills.

Lovely spot just a few miles out of Whaley Bridge, so an ideal area for a nice walk up to this part of the peak district. From this point (on a nice day) you can see right over to Manchester, but that's on a nice day. So pick your days wisely, because when it rains up there it lashes it down. Nice part of the world, some nice views, but nothing else there so take a buttie and flask.

Lovely quiet walk , once at the top beautiful panoramic scenic views. Walked down towards the viaduct and back-up and over. Small car park for about 3/4 cars with entry through a small wooden gate. Was quiet enough to be able to run around ๐Ÿ•

Nice views, hike up or you can drive straight up to the top and take a very short walk. The path does include walking along a small road.

Of the beaten track but definitely worth a visit for the panoramic views, you can see Manchester one way, rolling hills and the lake. Only a short walk from the parking which is limited to 2 or 3 cars

This was a nice surprise and so glad I visited. Not the highest of points however itโ€™s location gives the most stunning views of the surrounding areas. Parking is available for about 4/5 cars max, but be careful as the road (more a lane really) is fairly narrow with a few passing places on route. You can walk from the local village though.

Looking walk out, amazing views at the top. Not massively difficult walk, steep in places.

Nice hike, don't take the road walk up and around the hill before going to the peak

Amazing panoramic view of the surrounding area. There is a small area for cars to park on Eccles Road otherwise it is accessed by a vigorous uphill walk.

So beautiful!!!!! Panoramic scenery and a lovely spot for a picnicโ€ฆ.Much easier to get to the top from the Whaley Bridge side rather than via Chinley if you struggle with hills!!โ€ฆ

Donโ€™t tell too many people about this spectacular viewing point, just 50 yards from the very limited (6 slots) parking. Keep it a secret!

Quiet in the evening we went for 7pm. Beautiful views. A place of relaxation, just listening to the wild life.
