I absolutely loved Swiss House B&B and Tap! It is a lovely bed and breakfast and the people who run it are absolutely amazing. Matt's cooking is delicious and he and the other staff are all so incredibly friendly. I would definitely stay here again!

We visited for a walking trip. Great rooms and some nice touches like a chocolate bar with the tea/coffee in the rooms. Super breakfast and a cosy bar with a good selection. Top place, will return .

Popped into this establishment after a long day walking and was greeted by a very miserable looking girl, who didn't have one ounce of personality she was too busy looking at her phone,Instead of making people feel welcome...souless place

Can’t comment on the b&b but the bar was the least welcoming place I’ve ever been to. Really poor beer choice for a tap house too. Can’t understand the good reviews.

Wonderful stay at Swiss House for a short walking holiday. Staff were fantastic and Matt kindly moved us to a cooler room when we asked. Ben and Rebecca were also very friendly and helpful. Good location, nice bar, good rooms, lovely shower and breakfast fit for a king! What's not to like. Thank you. Warren and Cal Churms x

Nice pint in a small but comfortable pub, just a shame there were TVs in each of the two rooms. Don't get me wrong I love sport but there is a time and place.

Really liked this place, could easily see myself plonking down on a seat for the duration. Nice drinks, Nice decor a place to escape the kids I'd say. Can't wait to come back

The first time I've called in, I was surprised it bigger than it looked for the outside. Really good interior deco, grate selection of craft beers from Jollyes Brewary. Best prices in Castleton, well worth calling in.

Stayed here for two nights with our bikes. All were very accommodating where there was a specific lock up for the bikes. The rooms were clean and in good order. Breakfasts were plentiful, varied and good quality. Will definitely stay again.

I have stayed in Castleton several times in different B&B's and all have been very good. This place however is head and shoulders above the rest. The rooms are very comfortable with king size beds, the breakfast is just superb, high quality produce skilfully prepared and presented. Next time I stay is Castleton I will be booking this place.

Had drinks here for a friends birthday at the weekend and it was great. Quality craft beer, good sized bar and apparently the accommodation and food were really good too.

Friendly and welcoming. Recommended. Pitty the beer was a little sub par. (But might have been my choices!) Ditch the Barnsley brew and get the Brampton Brewery on board!

Really well priced B&B in Castleton. Breakfast was delicious and hearty and just what we needed before heading out for a walk. Recently redecorated so looked clean and fresh throughout. Our room was small but well appointed with lovely shower room. Great power shower and soft towels. Free WiFi was much appreciated. Sadly pillows were very hard and uncomfortable! Plus we could only get 2 channels on the TV! Our room proved quite noisy during the night when some sort of generator kept running. Overall though we had a nice stay and would recommend (chose a room on the front of the building)
