Phillip
and
Vivienne
are
incredibly
helpful
and
absolutely
delightful.
Our
rooms
(Thornhill
Suite)
were
clean
and
quaint
and
perfectly
acceptable,
though
not
really
anything
special.
But
Underleigh's
location,
nestled
between
sheep
fields
and
hills,
is
absolutely
gorgeous.
We
parked
our
car
upon
arrival
and
didn't
drive
again
until
we
checked
out.
The
hosts
have
a
binder
full
of
maps
for
different
walks/hikes
in
the
area
that
you
can
start
from
Underleigh
House.
They're
knowledgeable
about
different
attractions
in
the
area,
and
they
even
called
and
made
dinner
reservations
for
us.
Breakfast
was
incredible.
For
our
full
day
in
the
Peak
District,
we
ate
breakfast
then
left
on
foot.
We
hiked
Mam
Tor,
toured
Treak
Cliff
Caverns,
and
looped
down
through
Castleton
where
we
went
to
all
the
little
shops,
toured
Peveril
Castle
just
above
town,
ate
dinner
at
a
pub,
then
walked
back
home
on
the
picturesque
road
through
Hope.
It
was
about
9-10
miles
altogether,
and
it
was
a
perfect
day.
If
you're
more
of
a
homebody,
they
have
a
common
area/living
room
with
games
and
a
piano
and
cozy
chairs.
We
had
an
absolutely
lovely
time,
and
we'd
stay
here
again
in
a
heartbeat.
