We love it here! Bethany and Max are always so welcoming ☺️ We always come for waffles and toasties! My partner loves it here as he's big into his beer and these guys know their stuff! They always have new and exciting new beers for him to try! I just love the coffee! So much so they have my order already on the till down as Gabby's Coffee 🤣 just the best service in Buxton! 10/10 would recommend to anyone visiting Buxton to come in and enjoy themselves!

Most welcoming and lovely café in Buxton! Really appreciated the atmosphere and the coffee was lovely — we had the blondies as well and they were really delicious 😊😊

Awesome! This is such a great bar. Popped in after having an ok curry a few doors down. I was greeted by a really welcoming friendly can we help. There were 3 couples in there already chatting and socialising it was just a great atmosphere. I was given a beer menu. I love good beer and this place does not dissapoint. Given just enough time to decide and table service of a fine stout in a nice tulip glass. The music was good so I decided on a Paulaner. A heavenly woft of waffles filled the air someone was grabbing their well earned dinner. It was such a great environment. I so wish I lived local because I would be there all the time. Only been open 3 months and they have got a great formula. Support this place it's a gem.

What an amazing little gem of a place in the centre of Buxton. We went for post birthday dinner drinks and dessert on a Saturday night. We sat upstairs and it was cosy. The cocktails were fantastic and the Liege waffle Waffagato was so delicious!

First time in Buxton (staff training day) and decided to get a takeaway cuppa on the way back to the car. Staff were really friendly, and happy to make drinks in our reusable cups. The menu looks great - shame we didn't have time to stay longer to try it out. Venue is "bijou" and the owners have made the very best of the space available. Really liked the waiting area downstairs for the toilets! Would happily visit Beer and Bean again - love to support independent businesses.

Class little place with a great atmosphere. Great for coffee and a beer. Advertised waffles until 9pm, but had stopped serving at 8:15pm, that was very disappointing, guess I just went hungry.

OK, but needs more offering in the way of non-alcoholic drinks for drivers. Also the charcuterie sharing board was nothing special. For the price, I was expecting something more artisan rather than what I could pick up in Morrisons.

Didn't have food but we stayed at the Palace across the road on a Groupon deal and this place stood out on Google, its only small but lovely rustic atmosphere and decor. Dog friendly, and the deals on cocktails were great, only planned on having one each and stayed for 3 each. 11/10 would recommend!

So good we had to visit twice during our short stay in Buxton. Great place, very dog friendly and a good variety of beers and coffees to go with the delicious waffles. I really enjoyed the waffogato and my wife recommends the plain waffle with ice cream.

Waffles were lovely, staff friendly and service with a smile. A good range of beers from around the world such as Belgian and American. Both food and drink a touch on the expensive side but they were nice.

Rare treat to find a speciality coffee shop whilst on holiday in the Peaks. Coffee and lunch were top notch, great folk and a great place. German & Belgian beers on tap were very tempting too!

I didn't know I needed amazing waffles until Beer & Bean came along; now I wouldn't be without them. The owners are great and really knowledgeable about their products. There's fantastic coffee, a varied menu of solid world beers and the weekday lunch is brilliant too. And the waffles - go get the waffles.

Fantastic service, great food and drinks and a lovely cosy environment. The live music on Sundays is particularly enjoyable but for just food and drink, anytime is perfect. Definitely worth a visit if you're passing through Buxton.

Great place to relax and enjoy some fantastic beers, coffees and a variety of light bites (savoury and sweet). The owners are hard working but always have time for a friendly chat. Highly recommended.

👍👍 Loved it! Had a great lunch here . The staff were really friendly and helpful and even adapted the menu a bit for our little one. We ordered meat and potato pie and were genuinely surprised at the size of the pie when it arrived ,it was huge! It was all lovely and we wouldn't hesitate to return.
