It is a beautiful park! Clean and very family friendly. I haven’t had a chance to attend any events there yet, but am sure I will enjoy them when I do. I am going to watch calendars for events to attend! The overtook is absolutely fantastic. I plan on visiting a lot!!

The park was beautiful. It was my first time here there were lots of kids playing . There was a beautiful lake with duck and geese. Plenty of shade and parking spots . Definitely recommend for a family outing or even a picnic.

Wish that there were official trails around this park, but I understand it’s used much moreso for special events and water activities such as fishing, kayaking, etc. There are picnic shelters near the water as well as a playground. The park had a great overlook of the lake, and will certainly be a great sunset spot to visit in the future. A view of the dam was sadly obscured by plants.

Attended a special event. Organizers underestimated popularity of event. Insufficient planning for the crowd on site.

Great place to fish, paddle board, and canoe 🛶 if you have small children they have a playground while you fish. Get there early to claim you spot.

1st time attending. Atmosphere, location, and even the parking was simple. Various food truck items, plenty of space to take a seat & watch the fireworks. You could watch from the marina side as well.

My family, friends, and I went to the Uncle Sam Jam held here for the fourth of July and it was such a beautiful and organized event! I can definitely say we will be coming here more often not only for fourth of July.

We attended the John Coltrane 12th annual event at this beautiful park, and it was great. The grounds were well maintained, and the lake provides a stunning atmosphere. The concert was awesome. Can't wait for next year.

I went there on the 4th and had a GREAT time! Though I don't normally visit it, I absolutely loved. It was neither overpriced nor overcrowded, and the fireworks went off right above the lake and were spectacular. They also lasted for a really long time, and the ending was phenomenal👏🏽 It was good clean family fun, (and though someone did set a fire in the end), but that just added to the excitement; and they put it out quickly. Shootout to the High point fire department!

Had a great experience with our event. Laura with the city of High Point came out to assist that everything was good. We will definitely use again. Oak Hollow Park's combination of natural beauty, recreational activities, and community events make it a popular and beloved destination in High Point, North Carolina.

OK if all you wanna do is chill, grill out, or maybe toss a ball around, but that’s about it. Sign on premises says Fishing Prohibited… with all that shoreline, and a platform at the water?? Makes no sense.

This review is for the Jazz Festival, and not necessarily for the park itself. The park is always great. The Jazz Festival was not great from a.park perspective, although the event was excellent. The crowd? Not so much, and the all volunteer staff let people practically get away with murder.

A really great space. We usually go to the Coltrane Festival. Even though our experience this year wasn't as great as previous years, we still love the park.

Nice park overlooking the lake. Has plenty of pavilions that you can reserve for large gettogether; or simply hang out on the grassy area & enjoy an afternoon picnic with your loved ones. Also, decent playground for the little kiddos...

Good spot, but not so good with kids. They have 2 shelters on 1 side and I believe 3 on the other. Was quite hot when we went there but near the water it was breezy and kinda cool.

Very nice park for a picnic or small family. Get together. Playground for children is nice, lots of green area to move around home. Trash receptacles, and restrooms open seasonally.

Best facility for a temporary disc golf course. Should be permanent.
