Beds are too hard, but my bonds are not easy to satisfy. Excellent pillows. The room is perfect size and pretty clean, in addition you can get light breakfast included in its rate. Finally, a friendly front desk service.

What a value!!! We stayed 3 nights. Immaculate rooms, comfortable beds, a generous selection of towels, and good coffee and a little breakfast spread in the morning. And the clerks were so kind and helpful. We were here for a family emergency, and we were grateful to come back to it at night --- it was a true shelter in a storm.

This was a great place to stay. Loved the king size bed and the bathroom. I gave it 3 stars because the air conditioner/heater was a little noisy and it leaked on the floor. Also, the ice machine was out of service during my visit. Besides that, I enjoyed my stay there.

I had to stay at here for 2 weeks. Nice hot showers and comfortable bed. Lots of choices on TV. Only minor issue was killing 2 grasshoppers that got in my room.I would suggest going to the Dollar Tree to get your late night snacks. $3 for TWO canned drinks? Really? Enjoyed the stay, though, and will go back.

They always put us in the back, remodeled alot . cigarette burns on the tub and covers. I don't appreciate the front desk needing a $20 deposit on those rooms...it is probably just for black people haha

Stayed at this hotel two weekends ago. Fairly clean; although the sheets didn't seem fresh; it seemed as if the beds had been slept on without changing the sheets. The sheets didn't seem fresh; I did see 3 bugs on my last night and I would suggest that they install handicap rails in all of the rooms for occupants to safely get in and and out of the bath tub without a fear of falling. There were holes punched into the walls. The bathroom door had been broken down at some point. Cigarette burns on bedspread and tub and carpet. The mirror was broken, the wallpaper was peeling. The blankets and sheets were stained. There were white stains in the office chair. The property was surrounded by razor wire. In a very sketchy part of town. Wecouldn't bring ourselves to sleep there because it was so filthy! Had to leave and get a different room. They would not refund us. Do Not stay here!!!!

The easy way into the parking lot is via West Russell Ave, not South Main Street. It's not a fancy expensive hotel but it's clean and affordable, with very helpful people on the front desk so it's a good place to visit.

It was clean and adequate. Not enough towels for 4 occupants. Breakfast was offered but nothing fresh like fruit or yogurt only carbs and coffee, children would have preferred some chocolate milk or juice. Glad we had the option to eat at the University for breakfast. High Point had a wonderful breakfast buffet. Our only view was construction across the street or the parking lot. Basically, a place to sleep 😴 and that we did until we heard loud sirens speed outside and awaken us all!!

In the abandoned furniture market side of town.. 😞 We couldn't walk to any food or convenience store... Free breakfast πŸ₯ž but inconsistent WI-FI

Exactly, as advertised. Clean, safe, and a discounted price. This is a local motel, and while not the finest amenities, you can tell that the owners and operators take pride in providing a decent stay for the guests. It is pretty close to downtown and High Point University. There was a musty odor and some noisy pipes and such, but all in all, everything worked and they delivered more than I expected for the price.

Beds are great now if only they'd wash the sheets

Well, as they say, "You get the bang for your buck!" - And in this motel's case, that can be taken quite literally. Visit One: The rooms had a charming touch of "antique", and the amenities, while reminiscent of a MacGyver episode, were functional. Thin walls did make for an auditory adventure, but I felt like I got the vintage motel experience. All things considered, it was akin to ordering a budget meal - it won’t be gourmet, but it fills the belly. Visit Two: The night check-in resembled a fast-food drive-thru window more than a motel in that I was required to interact with the front desk through a teller window. The local patrons communicated parking-lot-to-room in robust, operatic voices. Upon my traditional bed bug inspection (a habit, not a reflection on this place), I unearthed an "adult toy" that quite resembled more a forearm than a reproductive part. Now, whether it was a forgotten relic or a cheeky tip for housekeeping remains a mystery of the ages. In summary, this is one of the most wallet-friendly motels in High Point. Just remember, in these kinds of places, surprises await - some more vibrant than others. Looking for perfection? Look elsewhere. Looking for something good? Eh.. you should probably still look elsewhere. Looking just for somewhere to sleep to avoid potential sleep deprivation, car camping, and psychosis? Depending on your threshold for the unexpected, it may work. My tolerance level might be higher than most, but staying here is quite the experience.

Rent by the month to someone on a SS income that would bring the money in on a consistent basis. I would not recommend a habitual beer drinker on a monthly basis.

This is by far the most disgusting place I've ever stayed in my life ! There was hair in my bed in the shower and on the hair dryer ! You could tell no one change the sheets or clean the room from the previous customer. You're better off sleeping in your car! Avoid at all costs !!!

Would NOT EVER recommend to anyone. The bathroom had hair on the floor, the bed had hair in it, and there was a stain on the bedspread. I did not stay because I did not feel safe. There was a total of four cars in the parking lot. It is in a very run down section of downtown where many of the businesses were closed and buildings were empty. I was in the room maybe 5 minutes and checked out. I didn’t ask for a refund and the clerk at the front desk didn’t offer. I would give zero stars if I could.
