9/16/23 6:30 p.m.Good donuts, but the girl working that day was rude as hell. Wouldn't make any coffee for me and my family. And threw all the different donuts in a bag. All the iceing got stuck on the inside of the bag. And ruined the donuts.Because of that girl I will never go back. She needs to be fired.

I absolutely love Granny's donuts in Thomasville. So I just assumed the one in High Point would be of the same quality. The store itself needs to be cleaned. The tables, chairs, floors, just everything needs a good cleaning. And sadly the donuts were not fresh at all and the coffee I ordered was burnt tasting. I will definitely be going back to the one in Thomasville.

I recently went to purchase some doughnuts to treat my family. I personally don’t eat them because it’s been my experience that they’ve been too greasy, too heavy or too cakes. When I entered the shop I was greeted right away and was offered help but insisted I just wanted to look and see what they had to offer. The young lady went back to work and stated just let me know if you need anything. I proceeded to look and couldn’t make up my mind so I started asking questions. She was so patient and helpful. I decided to go against my no doughnut eating policy and try one on the way home and all I can say is……. Wow, Wow, Wow!! I can definitely understand what the fuss is all about. These doughnuts are heavenly! I think I ate one in about four bites. Then I had another and another. So much for the no doughnut policy. They are so light and airy and fresh you can’t even tell you’ve eaten them. They are absolutely delicious. Too bad I only bought one dozen that day, my family might have stood a chance 🙄. The shop itself was nice and clean. You can eat inside or takeout. There are a variety of drinks that can go along with your pastries or just by themselves. I took a picture of the menu so hopefully that will help. There is handicapped parking and a ramp for access. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who can appreciate the finer things of life especially in smaller packages. But be forewarned. Prepare to eat more than you except to. I certainly did. And I don’t even like doughnuts 🍩.

If I am in High Point, North Carolina, you better believe I am going to Granny’s Donuts & Bakery. If you live in High Point North Carolina, and have not been to Granny’s Donuts & Bakery, you better go right now!! I have been a donut lover all of my life. Needless to say, this means trying out any donut bakery within my current vicinity. Let’s just say, I. Know. Donuts. Everything that I have tried from Granny’s Bakery has been absolutely delicious. Some of my favorites are the blueberry fritter, and the glazed buttermilk donut. However, let us not leave out the cinnamon roll, the coconut donut, the lemon filled, and some of the simpler Doughnuts – the cake, the sugared, the cinnamon sugar, the glazed. I can guarantee you these donuts are worth Every. Single. Calorie. Granny’s Donuts & Bakery is most definitely the best place to get donuts in High Point!

My oldest daughter was asking for doughnuts recently, and I want to support local businesses in these situations if possible. Found this shop close to a doctor appointment we had for my youngest. I’m not a food connoisseur, so I’m just giving my honest opinion. The doughnuts tasted good! I don’t believe they had a Boston cream on display, but I ended up with a Boston Cream somehow. My only disappointment was selecting a half dozen, then paying just to see at the bottom of the receipt there is specials for a dozen. We’re not locals, so I had no idea of the specials.

If Krispy Kreme and Dunkin Donuts had a baby these doughnuts would be them!! Perfect amount of glaze and doughnut texture. Please also get the doughnut holes (not pictured, I ate them all). They bang! A must have 💜💜

We usually hit Mebane Jelly donuts on the way from Raleigh to Charlotte. It slipped out mind but we still wanted donuts. I gpsd the closest donut shop and it led me to this little shop. It's turns out, it's better than Mebane Jelly donuts! Their apple fritters are amazing! They had an extensive selection from donut holes, to French crulers, to bana cream donuts, to cream horns. We'll definitely be skipping Mebane Jelly donuts and hitting this spot for now on! Yummmm!

2 times I've been, consistent with bakery freshness, and taste, they definitely have a heads up on preparation, timeliness for customers. I'll be back.

Sister brought some treats from Granny’s to share with us here in Charlotte. The Apple fritters and Crullers were the best I’ve had in NC! Cannot even find a Cruller in Charlotte anymore. We desperately needs a Granny’s or two here!

Great selection of donuts, crullers, eclairs, and donut holes... The staff is always smiling friendly and polite! Prices are the best... Half a dozen for under $9 depending on what you get... I Love this place!

Oh my goodness, this place is fantastic! Every donut is amazing! So fresh and delicious. They also have an amazing collection of orchids in the shop in High Point.

Really good donuts. Their always hiring. The lady is nice. She needs good workers. The Donut the the super soft and the icytends to melt fast so you might want to eat them as soon as I get them the prices went up but still has the prices everywhere else but I would definitely recommend the donuts and she made a really good ice macchiato

I have always loved these donuts but just threw a dozen away. They were just thick dough. I buy the cream filled b/c that’s what I love. Hopefully it was just a fluke, b/c they didn’t have enough cream to even taste and some didn’t have any.🥲

I give 3 stars because the yeast Donuts and fritters are very good! The reason they get such a low rating though is because the cake Donuts are garbage! All of them. Both the chocolate and the vanilla cake donuts are super dense, dry, and leave a strong aftertaste of old dirty grease in your mouth. The maple bacon yeast donut is another one to avoid! The "bacon" is just super hard smoked bacon bits. The smokey flavor completely overpowers you and you'll be left with a sugary & liquid smoke taste in your mouth 🤢 absolutely terrible! My husband said the woman working there wasn't friendly either, but it could've been because she seemed to be working by herself as she kept having to run to the back and answer the phone during the short time he was in there. My advice to the owners would be to get rid of the items that aren't good and focus on the ones that are! Variety is nothing if the quality isn't there! Someone who has never been here might only get the nasty donuts and will never come back to try the good ones they missed!

I love their plain donuts they're so light and fluffy not over iced and the apple fritters are delicious

Best. Donuts. Soft, tasty, varied, and the icing is flavored strawberry, orange, vanilla, or chocolate. Best filled red velvet cake donut holes too. You can taste the richness of the cream cheese without being over-powered with sweet.

They have great options of donuts and taste so good. I hate when they have a long line..... Everyone takes the good stuff, catch them early

We have been a customer for years and always went to the Kernersville location until it closed so we drive to High Pointon occasion but today took the cake! Was there around 1:15 and the lady who served me was the rudest individual ever! I specifically asked for a certain type of donut and when I looked at the box, it was the wrong thing so I called her back to the front and she told me "that's not what you said!" I explained that I did say that and she just kept on until I finally asked for a refund. She should have never argued and just fixed the order. I asked for the owners info but she just said they weren't there. We like the donuts but not enough to be talked to in that manner.

Best donuts around. They have blueberry and cherry fritters. I tried their vanilla chai frappe the other day...it's my new favorite. If you are ever near Granny's I would recommend stopping by.

Donuts taste so simple and not really soft like what I expected. All chocolate donuts coloring is very light means so sweet. I don’t feel chocolate at all. Environment is good.

First time here. Lady who served me was friendly. I got some donuts and a cup of coffee which I didn’t like. Donuts didn’t look too fresh im not sure why. Great customer service for me but food however was disappointed. I might have to get something else next time.
