Don't be fooled by the size of this restaurant from the outside. This place is huge with ample seating and a great ambience. The host was friendly with great customer service skills. Most importantly, the burger was excellent. This is a dine-in place where the host will seat you at your table. Parking is very limited and I had to circle around twice to find a good parking spot. You will have to park at Brown Truck Brewery or across the street and just walk over. All in all, a great place where I could bring my family over.

I find it worth a 1 hour drive to eat here. The service is next level. Be prepared to tip extra just because you end up liking your server so much. I think everything I've had here so far is excellent, but I especially found the pork skins and collar greens next level. The bbq I had was nice and their sauces elevate it.

Fantastic local southern food with a classic bar menu and a great beer on tap selection. The vegetable sides menu is extensive so I felt compelled to mention it first. The collards were sweet and seasoned with a dash of bacon I think. Availability from the menu is subject to what they can get. I had the fried pork skins appetizer and it came out sizzling, which I've never had before. It was served with a little bowl of beer cheese which made it an amazingly great appetizer. If you're not a Southerner, with a capital S, then you just won't get it. The pimento cheese and bacon burger was terrific and just juicy enough to satisfy yet not fall apart. They still have lemon drop and apple-tinis on the drink menu along with some college staples with red bull as well as a good local beer selection.

Great food. Great service! The sweet potato fries were delicious! Fresh tasting food and I'm looking forward to returning to try the nachos!

Went back today and I took my favorite person in the world. He had the best time and got a burger of his own. Bartender had GREAT service.

We went on Fathers Day so they had shortened the menu to only the brunch menu. They were also very short on staff. In spite of all this we had a very good experience. The food was great! They have an extensive beer and drink menu. And they had games going on all over the restaurant, but, it wasn’t loud. Talking was easy to hear and it was definitely kid friendly. I would definitely recommend Sweet Old Bills.

Really appreciate the great servers! Had the goat cheese bacon burger with fries and collard greens. It was good but not great. If you like really cold draft beer you should probably go somewhere else. Because of the nice people, we will try this place again I hear they have really good brisket!

We stopped here for dinner on a Friday night. Parking was adequate and we were seated right away. We chose to dine outside at the picnic tables. I started with the Pork Skins and beer cheese. The pork skins were freshly made, still warm and crackling when they arrived. The beer cheese was just okay...it was just starchy where I tasted a roux more than I tasted cheese. I ordered the half smoked chicken and doubled up on collard greens. The smoked chicken is fantastic, moist and tender with great flavor. The white sauce had a nice flavor. The collard greens were a little disappointing because they tasted sweet. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience at SOBs. Everything on the menu sounds great and we will definitely return to try more items on their menu.

Probably ranks as one of the best restaurants in High Point to eat. The food is great and the staff have been friendly during my visits. Wait time is not bad either. I would definitely recommend giving them a try. All the meals seem to be as equally delicious.

Location on the strip of North Main Street is this town's BBQ house. This is a very popular spot for families and singles alike. There is plenty of seating inside on scorching hot days. Seating outside if you don't mind the sound of traffic screaming by or the smell of cigarettes because you can smoke at some of the bench seating that is available. But it is actually pretty nice outside even with that! Or you can even sit at the bartop that opens up at the front if you're looking for something in between. They have a good selection of drinks, both non-alcoholic and adult drink options. They have a full bar inside. Pro-tip: Order a drink, non-alcoholic or otherwise. The water is not a good option. The service was friendly and professional. The food came out as ordered. The food was fine but not level southern BBQ style. We had the chicken, it was dry even though it was dark meat. The ribs were great, fell off the bone, but it leaned more on sauce than flavor in the pork. The meatball sandwich came without any sauce, so that was weird, and it really didn't make sense. The real stars were the sides. The hush puppies were crispy, and paired well with the mac and cheese. The best option was the brisket nachoes, I could have eaten a cubic ton of that! Midas 5-stars for versatile atmosphere.

Food choices are a little limited, but is delish. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. I highly recommend.

Just finished playing at a nearby kids’ play park and boy were we HUNGRY! After doing a search for nearby highly rated places, we landed here. I was worried it would be way too packed to get seating at lunchtime given its full parking lot and bustle, but we were seated relatively quickly. And considering all the food we ordered, it came out relatively quickly too! I ordered ribs and hubby had a sampling of items from chicken, brisket and think ribs as well. The kids LOVED the brisket and the chicken was surprisingly well cooked too. I always find bbq chicken to be dry and lacking blended flavor throughout the bite, but it wasn’t the case with this one. It was more validating that the kids actually ate a lot of the plate as well. Sweet potatoes and hush puppy sides were extra items we ordered and it’s more or less what you’d expect. Overall, solid place we’d probably visit again!

This place is fantastic!! From the very first bite of my hamburger and sweet potato fries, I was in "flavor town", as Guy Fieri says! Everything was delicious that each of us ate that night! We will definitely be back to try more dishes!!

They were out of several things but in we didn't complain in the end because everything we ended up getting was was wonderful! You can't go wrong with any of the sides here. We've made several return trip and always the food is great and the service is good, too.

I had a pimento cheese burger and my wife had the spinach salad with grilled salmon. Everything tasted great. My burger was a bit overcooked. Otherwise I have no complaints.

Atmosphere is usually very crowded and very loud. However, the food is fantastic from the ebtrees to the side dishes. The food is well worth the trip. Service has been good every time I have been here.

Found this little hole in the wall in high point area. Food was great and service was fast. No complaints about either. Had no problem finding the picky kids something. Couldn't finish the massive sandwich, but to me thats a good thing lol.

Overall a good restaurant. Has the feel of a college bar. Food is very good and drinks are cheap. If you’re trying for their baby back ribs, make sure to come early Friday or Saturday because they do run out. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a causal college feel experience.

I had a great experience eating here. This was my first time. The food was good and the staff were very friendly. I would recommend eating here. We tried several different items off the menu to see how they were. It was all good. Thumbs up.

I got the pulled pork which is pretty good. The sides are good, but the salt on the sweet potato fries was uneven. Service was great. I arrived about 30 minutes before closing because of poor planning on my part. Service did not rush me, which was nice.

I know it’s a Friday night but if sob wants to keep their reputation at least keep everything up to quality? The honey siracha sauce I occasionally order looks like goo. The chicken wings which was $15 for 8 only had two wings! The chicken looked like they were steroids and were just thrown in. So I’m not sure about the quality or Sanitation of this spot any more.

Always good vibes! New to the area and this is my favorite place so far. Whether it’s on my lunch break or somewhere to go for the night, there is always good drinks and food. Diego behind the bar is cool, but everyone is pretty nice. I definitely recommend this place because it won’t disappoint!
