Personable and attentive service with a seasonal menu. While the Latte was not listed on the menu, it was happily served. Great coffee. Generous portions. For brunch we tried the chicken and waffles and the french toast. I asked for extra crispy bacon which is exactly how it came. Interested in going back for a dinner service in the near future. Nice to see this spot of energy on Central Ave!

We came here for dinner with another couple. The service was good, but at first, he was in the weeds a bit, but it normalized as we progressed. The food was delicious, and their burger, was a total surprise. Good food all around Also, we sat outside since it was a beautiful evening, but it is a nice restaurant that is busy. Really nice atmosphere. I will definitely be dining here again in the future.

Was here for a corporate get together and honestly wasn't sure what to expect based on the menu and website, but this is the best meal I've had in quite a long while! The cocktails paired with the meals just fine, and the horseradish whitefish was EVEN BETTER than I had anticipated. We tried every appetizer and within the group we tried every entree on the menu. Not a single person had buyers remorse!

I'm so happy we were able to come here for a private event. We were able to experience the amazing food, and great hospitality of the staff and owner. Highly recommend their steak (although everything was delicious so there are no wrong choices).

Delicious brunch! Had the chilaquiles (best I’ve had-delicious green salsa with crispy homemade chips) and enchiladas. Cozy atmosphere with friendly staff. Looking forward to trying their dinner menu

I guess I was late to the game on this one. Pixca really deserves all the love that it gets. The food and the cocktails were really wonderful. What stands out to me is how good the staff is. The owner must treat them very well because they all seem very proud of the chef and the food that he is putting out overall, the dining experience was really excellent, and the service was terrific

I wish I could say we had a great experience. The staff went above and beyond, so there is absolutely nothing wrong on their part. However, the tables are too small and close together to each other that people would knock over your things when trying to get back into their seat. There were a ton of fruit flies flying around the food and getting in my hair. My food was okay; the salmon dish was way too oily where I could barely stomach it. My partner’s duck was cooked perfectly, though. For the overall ticket to cost around $130 including tip, we were unfortunately disappointed. We expected better due to the fantastic reviews.

What an amazing restaurant. The food is simply excellent. The menu offers only a few items which means every dish is carefully thought and prepared. Service is great. They could remove a few tables and make it more comfortable for customers to fully enjoy the meal.

A decent spot for brunch. The menu features a variety of types of dishes, including modern breakfast favorites like pancakes and waffles, as well as more creative options like the breakfast burrito and the lobster roll. There is also a large selection of brunch cocktails, mimosas, and bloody marys. I tried the huevos rancheros. It was fine but I wouldn't order it again.

This is our favorite restaurant in the North Shore. Anyone who has not tried this place is surely missing out. The food and drinks are exceptionally good. I am amazed that more people in the area do not know about this place. Fernando, Chef and owner is a true culinary artist and we are very fortunate to experience his talent here in Highland Park. I recommend you try this place out if you haven't already.

If you want an authentic Mexican meal this is the place to go. Their service is top notch and their food is amazing.
