This sucks we came here because they said that they were gonna donate all the money the make this evening to help Israel when we asked where the money was going they said you have to specify that it was for Israel BEFORE you order and EVEN THEN it's only 10%we told the staff and the said they couldn't do anything the MINIMUM I expect is for them to ask us if the money should go towards the fundraiser and to make it worse we only came here because of the fundraiser and this was a huge disappointment.

Mizrahi Grill in Northbrook is a revelation for the kosher connoisseur, a testament to the culinary heights kosher cuisine can achieve. From the moment one steps through the doors, the aromas of authenticity and tradition envelop the senses, promising an experience that is both genuine and delightful. The menu, carefully curated to cater to both on-the-go diners and those seeking a leisurely meal, is a parade of quintessentially kosher masterpieces. The falafel is a revelation, each bite a perfect blend of crisp exterior and tender, herbaceous interior, speaking volumes of the craftsmanship behind the scenes. The eggplant salad is a mosaic of flavors, each forkful a brushstroke of culinary artistry, with the smokiness of the eggplant playing beautifully against the tang of the dressing. The cigars, crispy and golden, are a textural dream, enveloping a treasure trove of seasoned fillings that evoke the warmth of the Mediterranean. Then, the skirt steak, a showstopper, grilled to such perfection that each slice is a tender, juicy indulgence that could easily be the centerpiece of a Michelin-starred menu. Mizrahi Grill doesn’t just serve food; it serves experiences, plated with care and served with a side of cultural authenticity. This isn't just dining; it's a foray into a world where kosher isn't a limitation but a launchpad for culinary excellence. Five stars are a humble nod to the constellation of delights that Mizrahi Grill bestows upon its guests.

I've been wanting to try this for a while, but it felt like too long of a drive. Now that I tried the food, I will definitely keep coming back. The place was crowded, but it was clearly a sign of everyone loving it!

My wife and I have lived in Miami and Israel for many years. We are both very picky about Kosher food. That being said, we were shocked how fantastic the food was. My wife got the shawarma, which is the only Kosher Turkey shawarma in the Chicago area and I got the falafel. It is rare to find a pita that stays together and tastes moist. The flavors of both the falafels and schwarma were delicious tasting. Friendly staff. Would highly recommend. We loved the food.

worst dupe of Palestinian cuisine I have ever tried. If your gonna steal the cultural food of an entire people at least make sure it doesn’t taste like rubber.

Not your average Shawarma .. but about 10x better! Wow it was delicious, there's care in every dish, the chef wants you to return! Would be hard not to after such a delicious lunch...

This place isn’t fancy but the service is very friendly and the food well prepared. I moved recently from the NYC area to Chicago and this is definitely the best kosher place in the Chicago area that I’ve tried thus far. The prices are much more expensive compared to comparable non-kosher restaurants, buts that’s to be expected from any kosher place that wants to maintain the highest quality.
