Honor bar was so amazing, I went here for lunch with my girlfriends and everything we got was impeccable. Not only is the food delicious but the service is great. The crab cake are just the best. Unfortunately they did not have them available for my friends birthday lunch which was a huge let down. I ordered the tuna tartare and wow. So fresh, coated with the perfect amount of sauce. I love that it is served with toasted bread. The presentation of the food was awesome but the practicality of it was not as much. It was unusually hard to eat since the avocado was kind of hard. It wasn't terribly complicated but I looked silly eating it with the tuna dropping off the bread everytime I tried to eat it. This place was very crowded, we sat inside at a booth by the open patio which was nice. I wish we sat outside because inside is very loud - I could barely hear the person across the table. One huge downside is they do not take reservations and there is usually a huge wait to get seated. It's amazing but the high demand for seating makes the place in enjoyable for those who have to sit and wait 1 to 1 1/2 hours. I don't suggest going during the weekends.

This was without a doubt the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. It was crisp, fresh, flavorsome, filling, and actually very reasonably priced for what was offered. I would go back here many times, just to have this chicken sandwich again. Many of the other items were nice too, including the deviled eggs, cornbread bites, emerald kale salad, and roasted salmon, but the sandwich was a stand out by far.

We came mid-afternoon for some light bites and cocktails. Our waitress was attentive and made good recommendations. I strongly recommend the chicken meatballs, they were fantastic!! The guacamole was tasty but I wouldn’t order it again.

Line was too long and they dont have reservation. We were waiting for almost 2 hours and then noticed that the front lady gave table to two of her friends, so disrespectful and disappointed, however food was amazing and our waiter was so nice. I loved their outside sitting. Very nice environment. I ordered dip French and it was so yummy.

First timer...everything was perfect, but $19 for a burger at lunch...with no fries/side! I'd do it again anyway as a special treat. Nice outdoor seating area and interior is old school warmth and charm with a beautiful bar. Swanky and clearly 'regulars' clientele as you'd expect in HPV. Minus one star for prices, but still highly recommend!!

Great dining experience even though I was alone. Server Deon was pleasant and helpful. The smoked trout dip was a flashback to my childhood, and it included Saltines! Add the Green Pepper Tabasco! The side kale salad was dressed perfectly and plenty for a light lunch. *No reservations and no parties over four (4).

An absolutely horrendous experience minus our individual server and the food. Context, we arrived promptly for brunch at 10:45 am (doors open at 11am). Doors opened a few minutes before 11. We walked in as a party of 8. The hostess informed us that they don’t seat parties larger than 5. We then indicated that we could be two separate parties of 4. She said “I can’t guarantee seating your two tables next to each other”. Mind you, the restaurant had JUST opened. No one was seated. Plenty of space to accommodate two tables directly adjacent to one another. She then stated, “we don’t split tabs, it’s too confusing for our servers”. Another ridiculous comment but we were willing to comply. We said, “one tab for each table is totally fine”. She said she had to go ask her manager for approval. When she came back, she said “okay we will make this accommodation but you have to note it’s just this one time”. Then when we were going to be seated, she forced the group to split, walking in separately. As if to make a point… two separate parties of 4. (eye roll) As we were walking in to get seated, there were very clearly two open tables next to each other but she sat us, across the aisle from each other. After being frustrated we responded, “no we will sit here”…where there were two four tops directly next to each other. The interesting thing is that their “servers” waited on multiple tables. No one table had the same server bringing out each dish or beverage. It was a revolving door of inconsistency… which ironically, was the confusing part of this… Not that we wanted two tables of 4. The food was great. I will say that. It was truly a shame, celebrating a birthday of a dear friend. We all had driven 45 minutes to enjoy a nice brunch together and the unwelcoming demeanor was just a complete turn off. The even more infuriating and irritating thing to me was I have dined at many exceptional highly rated restaurants that could have easily been considered pretentious or unaccommodating. To put it simply, Honor Bar, their hostess and staff, were rude and unreasonable. With a million dining opportunities nearby, this would not be somewhere I’d return.

Absolutely love this place! Honor Bar is, by far, one of my favorite spots in LA. They always have great food and ALWAYS great service! Big shout out to our bartenders Jelani, Casper and Caroline, as well as the manager Ashley! They really all the best, and really went the extra mile. Thank you so much! Can't wait to come back.

Everything this place serves is amazing. The emerald kale rotisserie chicken salad is one of the best salads in Dallas. It's not just another basic salad, and has a lot of unique flavor with the mint and peanut sauce. Croutons are definitely homemade and fresh. I also get a side of fries because they are thin and crunchy - so tasty! The ambiance is great, with dark moody lighting. The patio is also really pleasant.

Love love love the honor bar - Hillstone group restaurants are always fabulous. You will have a wait so bring your patience but it will so be worth it. Grab a drink and take in the sexy vibes of this venue. It’s a perfect date night or celebration place. I love their crab cake salad pictured but you won’t go wrong with any item. Their food presentation is gorgeous and interesting! I loved the grapefruit in my salad paired with the crab. The service is impeccable and the staff is so knowledgeable and accommodating! Honor bar has the most fabulous staff - from the moment you walk in you feel taken care of - it’s pricier but worth the experience! I’ve only had FABULOUS at any Hillstone restaurant.

Hands down the food are tasty but to wait in line to be seated? Goodluck with that! We were there on a Wednesday night around 5 and tables look empty, the waitress took 30 mins for us to be seated. I could’ve rated this restaurant a 5stars but hostess is rude.

Amazing energy, always 10/10 food (especially the seasonal salads), and cute area in the village! They also have a great chicken sandwich (it’s identical to R+D’s). I’ve been back to this place 10+ times since moving to Dallas — it’s the perfect weekend spot when you don’t wanna try a new place, but want a dependable & great experience!

I wanted to share my experience. This was my second time here, my first left me feeling 'not good enough to be there', the host was very rude. I wanted to give them a second chance, and this time it was amazing, from the food to the drinks. The BEST part was having the Chefs stop by, greet us, deliver the food and continue doing this through the entire experience. One was even clearing tables! SO MUCH respect for those Chefs, love it!!! Beef ribs, best I have ever had. To the Chefs and to the bartender, outstanding work. Thank you!

Recently dined at The Honor Bar with my wife and in-laws and had a great experience. The atmosphere is very cozy and trendy and the service we received was great. The menu is relatively small and simple but everything we tried was delicious! The smoked trout dip was especially delicious and I would recommend their burger as well.

I love the burger here. It’s really good. Also the salads are all amazing. French 75 is my favorite cocktail here.

I came here for an afternoon snack and had the martini and trout dip. Both were excellent. I really appreciated the ambiance, they had jazzy music playing and flame lanterns on the bar wall. It was a really nice vibe. Richard the bartender was very attentive and actually poured my drink into a fresh chilled glass halfway through to keep it cold and added extra olives.

I gotta say this place is awesome, I’ve been to the one in LA and they’re about the same but this one is bigger Really good drinks, and the food is great as well The crispy chicken I feel like has changed, it still tastes the same but I feel like it used to be more chicken and now it’s a thin slice. However still worth it but might start getting other options The tuna tart tart is super good and definitely worth it.

Consistent with the brand - great service/ amazing ribs - beef ribs here not pork - the honey mustard that came with it was amazing. Always love the spicy margaritas and always consistent . I visited the one in New York City first and have since loved the brand.
