An
absolutely
horrendous
experience
minus
our
individual
server
and
the
food.
Context,
we
arrived
promptly
for
brunch
at
10:45
am
(doors
open
at
11am).
Doors
opened
a
few
minutes
before
11.
We
walked
in
as
a
party
of
8.
The
hostess
informed
us
that
they
don’t
seat
parties
larger
than
5.
We
then
indicated
that
we
could
be
two
separate
parties
of
4.
She
said
“I
can’t
guarantee
seating
your
two
tables
next
to
each
other”.
Mind
you,
the
restaurant
had
JUST
opened.
No
one
was
seated.
Plenty
of
space
to
accommodate
two
tables
directly
adjacent
to
one
another.
She
then
stated,
“we
don’t
split
tabs,
it’s
too
confusing
for
our
servers”.
Another
ridiculous
comment
but
we
were
willing
to
comply.
We
said,
“one
tab
for
each
table
is
totally
fine”.
She
said
she
had
to
go
ask
her
manager
for
approval.
When
she
came
back,
she
said
“okay
we
will
make
this
accommodation
but
you
have
to
note
it’s
just
this
one
time”.
Then
when
we
were
going
to
be
seated,
she
forced
the
group
to
split,
walking
in
separately.
As
if
to
make
a
point…
two
separate
parties
of
4.
(eye
roll)
As
we
were
walking
in
to
get
seated,
there
were
very
clearly
two
open
tables
next
to
each
other
but
she
sat
us,
across
the
aisle
from
each
other.
After
being
frustrated
we
responded,
“no
we
will
sit
here”…where
there
were
two
four
tops
directly
next
to
each
other.
The
interesting
thing
is
that
their
“servers”
waited
on
multiple
tables.
No
one
table
had
the
same
server
bringing
out
each
dish
or
beverage.
It
was
a
revolving
door
of
inconsistency…
which
ironically,
was
the
confusing
part
of
this…
Not
that
we
wanted
two
tables
of
4.
The
food
was
great.
I
will
say
that.
It
was
truly
a
shame,
celebrating
a
birthday
of
a
dear
friend.
We
all
had
driven
45
minutes
to
enjoy
a
nice
brunch
together
and
the
unwelcoming
demeanor
was
just
a
complete
turn
off.
The
even
more
infuriating
and
irritating
thing
to
me
was
I
have
dined
at
many
exceptional
highly
rated
restaurants
that
could
have
easily
been
considered
pretentious
or
unaccommodating.
To
put
it
simply,
Honor
Bar,
their
hostess
and
staff,
were
rude
and
unreasonable.
With
a
million
dining
opportunities
nearby,
this
would
not
be
somewhere
I’d
return.
