Very UNCOMFORTABLE/WEIRD Environment. The GUY bartender keeps staring at me.Actually it makes me feel very weird and I do not like that.They Keep turning their backs to me whispering to each other which I feel so weird I left out immediately after paying my bill ASAP. I will not return because it was a very very UnComfortable Environment. Nice little place inside though.

Very nice aesthetics, adequate parking, and the food and drinks look great. Unfortunately I had a bad experience my first time 3/16 while trying to place an order to go. I wasn’t greeted. I asked for a menu simultaneously with a seated bar patron next to me. The patron received a menu instantly. However, to no avail I was not given a menu or asked if I need assistance within 5 minutes, after requesting a menu. So I left. Hence the 4 stars. Will try again soon….and hope to update my review. I love supporting black-owned businesses, And I can tell by the reviews it’s going to be a good time!

We were first-timers, and everything was great. Laid back atmosphere and the drinks were good. Good Happy Hour specials. We only had fries but will try something else another time.

I met some co-workers here for happy hour. Drinks are reasonably priced at about $5, they aren't too large but they're quite potent!! They also have good baskets (fish & fries, wings & fries, burgers, sliders etc.) for about $8/$9 a meal. I'd recommend this place for a group meet up. The atmosphere is dope, and outside seating is nice.

The owner(s) should be ashamed!!! Not only was there a $10 cover but the drink prices were ridiculous. $15 for a shot of tequila that was really a shooter, my vodka & cranberry didn’t even measure half of a small/short cup and taste like just cranberry with no vodka…….SHM. The place is nice that’s why I gave 2 stars but the owners are GREEDY.

I went there for a B-day party & the place looks nice, but I was very upset about having to pay a $10 cover charge to get in , then had to wait a long time to get a drink that they are over charging for .The drinks are not only over priced, but you only get literally drops of alcohol for your money it was terrible . The shots are over priced as well & they really should be called shooters . I will not go back .

Tried calling to get info on reserving tables for a birthday, the guy told me to hold on was on hold for 10 minutes listening to a women on another phone talking about pots pans, and food. I kept saying hello with no one answering. I called at 530pm before they got too busy. I hung up and tried to call back now the phone keep saying busy. Very unprofessional I just wanted information. All this could be avoided if they stop being cheap and get a website so people can reserve with ease.

Delicious! Incredibly good fusion of egg rolls and corned beef sandwiches. It is cash only so don’t be caught out. I came back a second day and got the cheesecake egg roll - it was very very good!

Excellent location if you want to grab a drink and a bite before heading downtown or anywhere really. This place is beautiful and I highly recommend the steak bites and any of the house drinks they offer like the “Couchie Bolouchie”! Wish you were here...

You don’t feel like you’re in HP off Woodward when you walk in but you’re reminded of HP with all the homage paid to HP HS. Great Black owned spot. Will go there again for sure.

Great place for mature adults looking for a place to relax, eat, drink, listen to mature music and play a game of pool. The atmosphere and bar is very nice. A safe hidden gem in the inner city. I consider myself a little boogie and this bar is one of my favorite. Don’t be intimidated by the location.

What a great place to visit! A really nice bar and grill located near the heart of Highland Park! I came here to celebrate my friend's birthday and we had a ball! The food was fantastic, the service is unmatched and the music was great! I'm definitely making another visit in the very near future

Was there for about 15-20 minutes, and no one ever came to greet us or take our order. They weren't busy at all, so I'm not sure why no one ever came over.

Small but well maintained and serviced venue. The food is good. The atmosphere is inviting. A great place to visit after work. If you want to play pool or catch a game, you can do that too. You can even sit in the enclosed patio area. Check it out.

Really nice place for a romantic dinner. Meals are top notch. Nice selection of wine. Wait staff is nice and the service was speedy even though it was busy. You cant go wrong going here.

The ambiance is amazing cool little cozy place tucked into the neighborhood. Staff was friendly (Rhonda) was one of a kind jewel. Had a the happy hour special. Enjoyed the live band on Wednesday. Will be back for karaoke on Sunday. Smokers area as well as a lovely patio with great breeze. Enjoyed myself will certainly return.

Great little food bar with sports on tv and great friendly staff especially Janelle and the whole bunch of folks. Enjoy!

Enjoyed this place with my brothers. We had a good time. The food was descent, the service was good and the music was great. The place is beautiful and I love the patio outdoors. Overall a great place and will visit again.

I love meeting up with friends at the Grille! The food is good, the DJ is thoughtful, and the atmosphere is very relaxing especially the outdoor patio's!

Food was delicious.. event was great.. not enough water pickers for every table ...May I suggest the next time that they have a catered affair that might have water glasses ready for the families when they.. arrive
