The patient intake personnel are not really that friendly or welcoming, but its inconsequential to me. On the other hand, the nurse and especially the lab tech were awesome. My only complaint is about the doctor. This is the 2nd time that my son has been seen by Dr. Antony. In short, both times, she has been incredibly condescending towards me. In all of my experience dealing with healthcare providers in various cities and states, she has to be the least friendly, unempathetic, and arrogant by far. I will be switching my son's pediatrician a.s.a.p. She really should take a refresher in bedside manner. Maybe others have had better experiences with her, but, I personally would not recommend her.

The worst place ever: we have seen 2 doctors there - Dr Lafazanos (dentist) and Dr Sonia Antony (pediatrician); both were not skilled and not kind. Dentist refused to see my kids saying that they have running noses (they might feel discomfort if some work is done in their mouths; but actually he was afraid of catching COVID from them, the COVID that they don’t have). Pediatrician prescribed 1 tablet dexamethasone and it took us 24 hours to receive it. What is the need of that prescription in such amount and so late if the person needed immediate care? Another child who was “congested” according to her, was left without any prescription. We are very much dissatisfied with those doctors, reception staff, the staff at the entrance, and Lake County Health Department. They are discriminators and unprofessional people we’ve ever seen!The worst place ever!!! I wouldn’t give them even 1 star but the system didn’t let me!

Can someone please explain why this facility is even open??? The doctors/dentist who work here never seem to be available when you need them. They abruptly cancel their appointments! It also takes months just to secure an appointment and even then he/she may abruptly cancel without notice! It’s very inconvenient and unprofessional!!! They are always trying to force you to go to the location in Zion or Waukegan! I hate this place. Just close down already if you can’t accommodate your patients who live in the area of Highland Park!!!! It’s so inconsiderate!!!!

Dr. Al Bana was very rude, disrespectful and unprofessional to put it simply. Her bedside manner leaves a whole lot to be desired among other things. She is not a decent doctor nor pleasant person to have with assisting with your healthcare at all.

We have used this clinic as our pcp for our kids for 15 year. And they were ok not the best not the worse. I call last week asking for an appointment for my daughter who is 5 years old, and they told me they don’t have anything available in the highland Park clinic until early June. And of course said the same think they alway say (take her to the emergency room). And they also told me they don’t have a pediatrician anymore because dr Antony left couple of months ago. How can they have no pediatrician if most of their patients are kids. They told me to go to Zion clinic with is about 45 min away from our house. I don’t know who is managing this clinic but they are not doing their job right. I’m sure a lot of people are getting paid every week for a service they are not providing to us the people of lake county.

I have been seeing Dr. Al-Bana for over 10 years. She works with me to address my health concerns, rather than just telling me what to do. She wants to make sure we are on the same page and comfortable. Dr. Al-Bana goes out of her way to care for her patients and answers all questions. She makes sure you get your orders and follows up with you and other doctors. She will call you no matter what time or day it is. She really cares for you. I am so grateful for what she has done for me and my family! I am also very happy with staff and nurses. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. I highly recommend her. Horrible and unprofessional staff, with the exception of the two gentlemen who work the front desk, because they are always professional and courteous. However, I can’t speak for the rest of this facility. In fact, I’m getting fed up with this place and it’s sheer unprofessionalism. I had an appointment scheduled to see the dentist back in February. The dentist abruptly cancelled. In fact, this seems to be very common with the providers just abruptly canceling appointments. This is the third time this has happened and it’s just absolutely ridiculous! My appointment was scheduled for 12:30. My son’s appointment was scheduled for 1:00. Upon our arrival to get checked in, one of the men, who works in the reception area, stated there was a discrepancy with my son’s insurance. I didn’t receive a phone call or a message regarding this. No big deal. Mistakes happen. As instructed, we arrived 15 minutes early. The receptionist checked us in and he informed us that staff was just completing lunch. Okay. Ten minutes goes by. Twenty. Some random blonde lady is walking past, never once acknowledging that staff is at lunch. Never acknowledging that someone will be with us. 12:50 arrives, and I’m frustrated. Finally I asked if I could just reschedule. Why were we scheduled so close to lunch time? That made no sense! I try to give this place the benefit because it’s close to my home. However, the staff and service is going down, from bad to worse!!!! I will be switching providers because it is becoming a real headache coming to this facility. It’s as if they care very little about the patients and their concerns!!!

I have been at this clinic for more than 10 years, excellent service , receptionist are nice , nurse is good , DrAlbana is super excellent , I will cry if they change her , thank you so much
