We arrived here with us being the only ones in the place and were not even greeted and had to ask to see menu, asked for drinks, had to ask to order had go up to bar to get another drink, ordered a sampler where it was suppose to come with waffle fries and it didn’t so they sub mini tacos and pickle chips (should of let us know) so I asked for sour cream and salsa which he brought a tiny solo cup of each and then charged me for it! Asked another couple how their food was and if they wanted another beer but NOT us! I had to even ask for the check! Not impressed at all! I don’t expect much but I shouldn’t have to go to the bar to get another drink!

If you want Northwoods charm, this about sums it up. Good food, clean place, great service and plenty of happy friendly locals. Decent prices and good drinks. Loved the shell of the famous taco.

Very clean country bar. We stopped in for a couple of drinks and enjoyed looking at all of the different sign that are all over. They also have homemade pies. Which I was very tempted to try.

Our Red Hat group are treated like queens. The food and service could not be better!

Unexpected find in the middle of no where. Thanks to a winning gift card from a meat raffle we went here and we're not let down. Food was great! Hospitality was even better! And the whole bar was full of old friends we just met.

A local little secret. Hands down the best food in Barnes. Family run so there can be times where it will take an extra minute to get an order in or a drink out but all it's all worth it. Much of their food is farm raised and the pies are out of sight.
