Nice blooming onion style appetizer. Yummy shrimp dinner. Nice Martini flight. Nice portion sizes. Fast attentive service. Light switch was cool. I'd come back.

First time here, our wait was short just 15 minutes. We were seated and server promptly took our orderd and suggested several options. Bread was served but ran short during our meal. Not a big deal, ordered the steak and rib combo, steak was cooked to perfection the ribs were juicy with the right amount of bbq sauce👍. Side of chili stole the show with a sweet peppery flavor 💯...salad was crisp and fresh!!! Baked potato was loaded with plenty of butter and sour cream.. Great food at reasonable prices, will definitely return 🌟🌟🌟.

Very good service, a little....rustic...but decent food

Texas Corral impresses with its hearty, Texas-style menu. The barbecue options are flavorful, and the steak selections are well-cooked. The rustic ambiance adds to the experience, but service can be hit or miss. Overall, a solid choice for those craving Southern-inspired comfort food. My favorite part will always be their warm rolls.

Okay here's what happened, wife and I stood at the counter for at least 6 minutes and the lady host/cashier never acknowledged us, although she was preoccupied acknowledging a present customer is always in order. Our food was good, I dont know who authorized the change in the biscuits, but it wasn't a good move. This biscuits are too textured and tuff.

Had a delicious lunch here, and it came out in minutes. Had such a pleasant experience that I took my family back for dinner the very next night! Friendly staff, great food, huge drinks, awesome light call system!

Everyone is short-staffed and expectations should be lowered (not for quality of food/service, but at the very least, for speed). Don't want to wait? Make food yourself at home and send your complaints to the chef there. The peach sweet tea is so fanominal, as was the chili and potato skins (could use a bit less onions on top, but the bacon bits were perfect amount). The ribs we had appeared to be plated first, as they weren't as warm as we would prefer, but the pulled pork and sweet potato were warm, tasted fresh and of good quality. The roasted chicken had good flavor. There is a stoplight pole with lightswitches to let your server know when you are ready to order, need assistance or are ready for your check, a unique innovative idea that I have never observed at other restaurants. Same goes for delivering drinks in wide-mouth mason jars, a classy southern-themed touch that my guest and I enjoyed.

We have always loved TC but we haven't visited one since the Oak Lawn, IL location closed. We had forgotten how good the food can be. This was our first time visiting this location in Highland , IN. We must say we were not dissapointed with the high quality food and exceptional service. Everything from the hostesse/manager to Zack's friendly service was worth the drive. The food was excellent, cooked to perfection and arrived to our table in a timley fashion. Zack made sure we were never lacking for anything. He kept checking on us but didn't do so too much to where he was interupting our dining experience. Our hats go off to this younge gent for his bright smile and friendly attitude, especially since the establishment was packed. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We will be back soon. Roy/Joel

Place was full. We got a table by the bar and Zach our waiter AND bartender was awesome. He was taking care of everyone and he was on top of things, we never went empty on our beers and every time he went by, he asked if everything was OK or if we needed something. Food was really good but the service was superb. We will go back and ask for Zach. Thank you for the experience and great food !!!

Over priced steak. Everything else was great. The Steak was not worth the price. We stopped by because we noticed the banner showing free $10 with a purchase of a $50 gift card. Manager seemed very upset that she had to drop what she was doing to assist me with it. I kindly declined purchasing one shortly after she mentioned that the $10 additional could only be used after the new years. I don’t go here that often to want to wait to use something I’ll forget about later. I was hoping to use it for another visit before the new years. Later after finishing my meal I saw another family of 4 get seated right next to us and next thing you see is the manager coming over to them offering 4 of the $5 certificates that would be given to you after purchasing a $50 gift card. I personally felt like that was a stab in the back from the manager and will never be coming back to this place after that.

We went to Celebrate Ma's birthday. When we came in we didn't have to wait to be seated. Our waitress took our order, food was very good, but once they cleaned up some of our plates....we didn't see our waitress until we had to turn on a light for her to come back to our table. I know it can get busy on a Friday, but sometimes you do have to go the extra mile when you choose to be in customer service...I know I work in customer service and it can be a bit trying. So when you are waiting on your customers please remember to go around to check on them periodically. It's Just Good excellent customer service.

The food is delicious everytime i come here. Not to mention how nice the staff members are. I always get nervous when there's a pile of peanut shells on the floor and people walk on it. Surprisingly none of the waiters or waitresses dropped a tray of food while walking on all the shells on the floor. Great atmosphere, drinks and food! I will be returning again.

I ordered Takeout because I wanted a steak and sweet potato...however, this entire order left a LOT to be desired: I ordered a sirloin, sweet potato, and a few rolls w/cinnamon butter. Interesting here I think you get the rolls and butter if you dine-in the restaurant, but you have to pay when you get it for takeout... Sirloin: I ordered Medium and it appeared to be more like medium/well or well done. When I opened the container, the small steak was wrapped in foil. Although it did taste good, it definitely was NOT hot. I was at the restaurant like two minutes after the app told me the order was ready for pickup and I live only 5 minutes away. 5/10 Rolls: these were hard, cold, and the fact that I had to pay for them is ridiculous. In fact, when you dine-in you normally receive these with your meal, but I had to pay along with paying for the butter, too. 4/10 Sweet Potato: although this comes along with the steak, it was NOT what I am used to from dining at Texas Corral. This one wasn't cooked all the way through. There were NO butter or toppings to go along with it. 2/10 The Soup: it says "daily" soup; but it was definitely unrecognizable. It was just warm. Also a terrible item. 1/10 Most of the issue here was food temperature and quality.

You can expect fast service as soon as you walk in the door when it isn't busy.....like extremely fast we were impressed. You'd think it would be that way at all restaurants. Our waitress was Patti and she was excellent. Very attentive, kind, and sweet. Our meals were excellent no complaints.

Food was good the service was quick and inviting and friendly. We enjoyed our celebration there it was a good memory for the books.

Food was terrible and those rolls were hard as a rock. Host was rude. Never again

After going here three times, it's really sad some place you used to enjoy going leaves such a bad taste in your mouth. They brought me pizza for my kids that was burnt. The Texas grub had no flavor. We got the smallest Texas flower I have ever seen The waitress said she was working alone and you had to wait forever when you needed service even after you flip the switch on the table.. They drop the bill super early and don't want to be bothered. It's a shame.

Apparently, and judging from the reviews, the locals are accustomed to waaay worse.. Not impressed with the long wait to order.. Nor the quality of my food. Obviously, I am not from the area as I expected "medium" to be somewhere between "raw" and "shoe leather". What I got was decidedly NOT in the middle.

Taste good and great daily drink deals! Friendly staff and clean bathrooms.

Took the dad to lunch today. Loved getting greeted right away, hostess was super nice. Jenna the server was absolutely on point. Knew the menu and can read minds or at least my facial expressions because everything I was getting ready to ask, she was already telling me!!! Such an asset to have!!! The food was ok. A bit too much liquid smoke in the BBQ sauce for my liking, but the service will definitely keep me coming back!!!! Thank you for a great lunch with the dad!!!

On 12/11/22 we ordered pickup for my daughter's 21st bday. We had a large order and went to pick it up, the staff went above and beyond to assure our order was perfect! Literally labeled everything with each person's name! And double checked that our entire order was perfect! Thank you so much! You guys are amazing and so polite! We appreciate your hard work and great customer service.

Took the family there on 1/5/2023 for lunch. (5 of us total) Our server was Zack. He informed us that he was the only server there at that time. He was running all over the restaurant making sure every one of his tables had what they needed. He did an outstanding job. Management should give this young man something for his hard work. Once again. Outstanding job. Keep up the good work Zack.

The kids were playing on their phone at the door when we arrived and and left. The server was good. I don't send food back my ribeye was supposed to be Pittsburgh style medium well. I am a Texas Roadhouse fan and my daughter convinced me that Texas corral was similar. I guess different Cooks make things differently but I was very disappointed in my steak.

1st time here.. We were going next door to Theo's but had a 45 minute wait. Unbelievable amount of good food. Party of 9 and EVERYONE left more than satisfied. Nominal prices.

Excellent service! Food was hot, tasty and full of flavor.

This was our first time in the area and we were looking for something with good food and service. As soon as we walked in our server was on point. I ordered the 8oz grilled pork chops, baked sweet potato with a side salad. My wife ordered the fried catfish with potatoe soup and side salad. That was the first time at a restaurant that my pork chops were grilled to perfection and the fish was so good we ordered two more pieces. If you are ever in Hammond, In make your way to the Texas Corral and you will be glad you did.

We were visiting our oldest son's family and I wanted steak. Turns out, his whole family loves steak, especially our two grandkids. So he picked Texas Corral. We all loved it. Our steaks were great. Our waitress was very friendly and capable.

Everything was good service fair staff good my drink was bland not strong at all and kinda watered down with all the ice salad can be a little better also
