Amazing day diving with Pasha in the caverns. He picked me up at my hotel in Bavaro and it was just the two of us. Even though I did not book him as an instructor, he taught me a lot about cavern diving and how to better improve my buoyancy which was very very helpful and important in these caverns. He pushed me in a very good way and I’m so glad I was able to do both of the cavern dives. He even took photos and videos of me! I felt very safe with him at all times during the dives and would not hesitate to go with this company again. You can tell they care a lot about safety and well being. Thank you Pasha!

Pavel was awesome! From the moment he picked me up each day til he dropped me off, diving with him was non-stop fun & learning!!! Helping me fully understand my equipment, skills, & knowledge of diving all while having fun but also retaining importance of training & education. Pavel is the best instructor / technical diver I've worked with! If your truly looking to improve your diving skills this is the dive shop to use. If all you are looking for is a safe & exciting dive... well this is still the best shop in town. I contacted Xavier a couple months prior to Christmas to inquire about gifting my partner a diving certification course while we were on a trip to the Dominican in January. He was extremely helpful, helped me keep it a surprise until Christmas, and set us up with everything my partner needed to do from afar, including all on sight dive requirements. He was given rides from Punta Cana to all dive sights all 3 days, and I got to attend on an excursion the last day where I got to meet Xavier as well. It. Was all very supportive and easy to manage even from the US. My partner had a great experience with his dive instructor, Paula, who I also got to meet! I would absolutely recommend The Art of Diving if you’re in the Dominican.

The single best underwater experience I've ever had! I'm now Open Water Certified through SSI and have definitely found a new hobby while I'm here in the Dominican Republic! Xavier is thorough and attention to everyone no matter how experienced they may be or think they are. I highly recommend him if you're interested in anything diving, from a discovery dive to cave diving 🦪🤿 take the plunge and do it all!

Fantastic diving experience in Bayahibe today! We had a very unique experience with just our instructor, Pavel. He patiently worked with me and helped me overcome some areas I was nervous about in clearing my mask. He pushed me in a very positive way to move within my comfort zone and use better diving/swimming techniques. We would definitely utilize The Art of Diving again!!! We have used others in D.R., and the private diving experience trumped other dives in larger groups.

Just finished 2 amazing dives with Xavier at Art of Diving. He was a true professional and provided such a wonderful experience from start to finish. They seem to strive for max 2-3 people per group which is awesome -but I was so lucky to have him to myself for the entire day. Everything was well organized from start to finish and I felt at ease and very taken care of the entire trip. He went out of his way to take beautiful videos of me and the dives which was a bonus. I would highly recommend diving with this company if you’re in Punta Cana (I believe Xavier has a dive spot in Spain as well). Probably the best dive company I’ve ever dove with. 5 stars to him.

We are newer to the diving world and a little hesitant of which dive group to use for our trip to the Dominican. After much reading and research we decided to book our dive trips with Art of Diving. We were throughly impressed from our first interaction via email with Xavier to our post dive communications. The dive excursion far exceeded our expectations and should be called a VIP dive trip with expert guide. Our guide,Pash, was above and beyond fantastic. He was with us from resort pick up to our return to the resort. He kept us well informed and provided much detail about what to expect, where we were going, information about the areas we passed and so much more. My partner and I went diving here on a last minute trip down to the Dominican Republic. Our dive instructor was Xavier and he was really helpful right from when we first inquired about booking. From the special booking arrangement to the extra information on the sites and techniques during our dive, he really did give us 5* service. I would definitely come back the next time I’m here!

At the beginning I wasn't at all convinced that a solo trip to the Dominican Republic would be a good idea, but I contacted Xavi a long time ago and I was surprised by how fantastic the customer-oriented approach Art of Diving has, which was a significant factor in my arrival - my dives were already booked. Once there, I met a great instructor, Pavel aka Pasha, who took great care of me. In total, we made 9 dives, including 2 caverns - here I can say that I cannot imagine starting that dives so different from open water fun ones, with someone less experienced and patient than Pasha. So if you are planning to start your diving adventure or you think you already know how to dive (hehe), definitely do it at Art of Diving, because the guys will take great care of you. Ps. Had a great experience diving with The Art of Diving! They were able to teach a new diver everything he needed to know, and we had a guide for just the two of us, so it was a very personalized experience! Paola was a great teacher and guide, very patient and lots of fun! She even took pictures and videos that she shared with us. I would definitely dive here again!

Amazing experience ! First time in Punta Cana & also first experience with this diving school. The instructors are so well teached and friendly. Not a lot of people on the boats and even if it was they still only look at you. My wife had a private instructor for snorkling and for me aswell for diving. They really care for you and teach you right way. Even booked a second diving trip after the first one, because it was such an experience. We really recommend this diving school!
