Cigar
hunting
in
Punta
Cana?
They
sell
the
real
deal
Cubans,
everyone
else
sells
fakes.
Buy
10
cigars
min
&
ask
them
to
box/seal
them,
don’t
forget
to
buy
some
to
smoke
on
your
trip.
Tip
the
guy
that
packages
them
&
your
guide.
Their
house
cigars
are
very
nice
too.
We
bought
a
couple
chocolate
bars
and
couple
small
souvenirs.
Free
transport
back
to
our
hotel,
no
pressure.
**Addressing
other
bad
reviews:
Spreading
money
around
the
island
is
a
good
thing
for
these
people.
I
went
with
my
gut
and
dropped
$500.00
on
cigars,
I
would
still
check
the
sticks
you
are
buying.
After
leaving,
I
read
some
bad
reviews
calling
this
place
a
tourist
trap,
or
saying
they
are
selling
bad
product.
I
wanted
to
address
this
with
photos,
explanations.
1.
Tourist
trap?
Punta
Cana
IS
a
tourist
trap,
these
guys
sell
every
souvenir
you
can
get
in
that
area
for
the
reasonable
prices,
the
difference
is
there
is
ZERO
pressure
and
they
are
very
professional.
You
don’t
have
to
buy
the
other
stuff,
if
you
want
cigars
buy
them,
be
kind
and
see
the
rest
of
their
offerings
and
move
on.
2.
Sub
Par
Product,
cigars
cracking
etc:
If
you
buy
cigars
realize
they
aren’t
supposed
to
be
out
of
the
humidor
for
very
long.
Also
understand
that
you
can’t
let
them
get
banged
around.
Let
them
box
your
cigars,
put
them
in
your
humidor
once
home.
3.
The
cigars
are
too
expensive…
Their
prices
are
on
par
with
other
sources
for
the
US
market.
4.
Fake
Factory?
This
was
a
weird
one,
they
have
cigar
rollers
there
to
show
you
the
process.
They
aren’t
going
to
be
making
cigars
at
all
hours
of
the
day.
They
make
small
batches
of
hand
rolled
cigars.
You
won’t
always
catch
them
in
the
middle
of
production.
Enjoy
your
trip,
be
safe
and
have
fun.
Tip
the
people
who
make
your
trip
nice.
