The room was really nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful but at a price. Bring tip money. The food at the buffet was terrible. They over cook everything. The steak, the pork, and the chicken were all cooked to death. The only restaurant that was remotely palatable was the Italian pizza place. The guy walking around the pool selling excursions (last name Smith) was terrible. He was very pushy and intrusive. He had zero regard for personal space and was very insistent. I ended up buying a dune buggy excursion for my 10 year old son and I and I learned from the other people on the excursion that I overpaid. The transportation to and from the excursion was atrocious. I will not be back. I was ambushed and pressured by three female servers at the buffet to post a positive review on Google. That was very unprofessional and a very uncomfortable experience. My family and I will not be back.

We had a great stay at the Reserve at the Paradisus Palma Real. I had stayed at the Paradisus Grand Cana in January and as nice as that hotel was (and the rooms are fantastic!) and as good as the shuttle service to the beach is (and it really is on demand without a wait), it isn't "on the beach". So we stayed at the Palma Real this time which delivered - the rooms aren't as modern as the Grand Cana but they are big and clean but being so close to the beach, the dedicated pools for the Reserve, and most of the restaurants is great. Staff at the hotel are very friendly (both hotels to be fair so compliments to the management because this isn't always the case) and while English isn't always brilliant just bear with them as they are really trying to help. If you want the nicest rooms then Grand Cana and if you want to be on the beach Palma Real. Can't go wrong. We will be back I'm sure. Doing "The Reserve" is well worth it if you can do it reasonably. There's extra space at the pools and beaches and we never found it "busy" - and it was Spring Break with two very large school parties - and dedicated restaurants. And you get a concierge to help with things. Kelvin Fernandez was a help to us with getting a different restaurant each day as we had asked and connecting us to someone for excursions. Bottom line - very friendly staff, good holiday good, nice beach and pools, rooms good enough and overall very enjoyable

I stayed at The Paradisus Palma Real in the Reserve Section. I’m used to Florida beaches but this resort in the DR pails in comparison! The service is outstanding,l and the food amazing. The main reason I came was for a quick, relaxing getaway with my mother. I fully believe the experience wouldn’t be the same without my concierge Edgar who has been very helpful and attentive so far! I’ve only been here for 1 night and I’m already obsessed! June is the perfect time to stay at Paradisus because it’s not crowded and the weather is perfect! No rain just sunshine and good vibes! Miguel, our baggage handler, was very sweet!

The hotel was booked via a travel agency which said this beachfront hotel was available. However this hotel has been under major renovation for at least 6 months and will not be completed for at least another 6 months. We were advised of a change a few weeks before we travelled, but had we have known we would have booked elsewhere. We were placed in the old building (still part of the Melia hotel group) which is away from the beach and is in need of upgrade and has a poor choice of restaurants and food is average. It is near impossible to reserve the restaurants despite purchasing "Reserve" upgrade. Concierge is powerless to assist except to purchase additional services. We were promised some form of compensation/refund for the issue, but despite daily reminder and assurance it would be done we have still not received anything. Every day was a stress to ensure there was a dinner reservation and to follow up on the issues. It was difficult to relax on our yearly family summer vacation. This is not a 5 star hotel, more like 3 star, so unless one pays significantly less, i would avoid at least until renovation is completed. PRO: The restaurant, bar, pool staff are all great. The Reserve grounds are also great: established gardens, cabanas and many private relax zones.

This hotel was wonderful! We couldn’t have had a better experience. Adults were happy, kids were happy. We will definitely be back. Rooms are clean, entertainment is great. Alexander was wonderful in the Mexican Restaurant, George was great. Wiley, Our concierge was quick to take care of any needs we had. The guy around the pool checking in if we needed anything, got me everything we needed.

The Paradisus is a wonderful property. Incredible service, great pools, beach and activities. The staff is uniformly kind, friendly and service oriented. The buffet food is great. The restaurants are mixed- some good, some not good. I would hope management would work on improving them. A highlight of our trip was our concierge, Yaleidi Sims. She is such a lovely person and so efficient and helpful. She made our trip incredibly special. Ask for her!!

Rafael and Pedro were amazing, they set up our cabanas everyday, remember the drinks we like and even remembered us by name. The service was superb and outstanding!! Rafael went above to and beyond to make us feel catered to and relaxed. Pedro made awesome drinks and they were very friendly and bubbly!! If you stay at this resort, please ask for these people and they will make everything worth your while! Our staying was nothing short of amazing, Jordania helped us while lounged around the property. She was very friendly and funny while we relaxed. Would definitely come here again with this friendly staff! Lewis was our personal concierge and we loved how he made everything seamless for us! He was available 24/7 LITERALLY! He was very prompt responding and catering to our every need. Lewis was polite, patient and sweet. We don’t know what we would have done without him, down to making our dinner reservations, excursions or just answering any questions. Without a doubt when we come back here, we will request for Lewis every time!!

Every day of our stay, we are always shown the very best that each part of the hotel has to offer. Most recently, we dined in “Mina” and were taken care of by our amazing waiter Junior. He had everything planned out and even anticipated our needs! The night could not have gone any better and it is all thanks to the amazing staff at Mina and most of all Junior. Then, I’d also like to give a special thanks to Ruth, who works by the Black Lounge, making drinks and serving ice cream. She is always so nice to us as we pass by and makes conversation. It is always a pleasure to be served by Ruth.

Kidsdom was absolutely amazing! We have a nine year old boy and a four year old girl and they both had a great time at the camp! Staff keeps the kids busy and entertained at all time, very kind and friendly. The kids love them! On Wednesday and Friday they are open 10 am to 10 pm, so me and hubby could enjoy a couple of date nights ( that was so convenient!). One of the reason we chose this resort is for the kids camp and it didn’t disappoint!!!! Amazing staff, great atmosphere, and the kids had the best time!!!!

Our vacations was amazing, we have such a great time with our family and everything was nice. We liked our room the beach and the pool was very nice and well maintained, the staff was very friendly and food was delicious, our Concierge Harry Milor was amazing and friendly and has effectively communicate with us when ever possible. He was extremely responsive to all our requests. He made our daughter’s birthday celebration special with a cake to celebrate. We would definitely recommend the hotel and the staff are doing an excellent job. Lot of activities for kids and water park as well. We definitely will be back soon.

This resort surprised us in so many ways! Outstanding service, beach view and service. The best surprise was that they had huge telescopes on site as entertainment which was the highlight of our trip. The guys with the telescopes were so knowledgeable about space and were eager to show us the wonders of the sky including the moon, Jupiter, Saturn, and Nebula. We got super lucky that our trip coincided with the longest lunar eclipse of this century, so we had the chance to gaze upon the lunar eclipse through the telescope which was a magical experience. Aside from this, food was amazing and the buffet had many selections. They also have 4 restaurants offering different cuisines and all were pretty great. The rooms come with large jetted hot tub that easily fits 2 people which helped us wind down from the day. Service was outstanding - every staff was super friendly and helpful. COVID testing was also seamless and hassle-free. Would definitely recommend this resort if you're looking for a relaxing getaway trip!

I cannot say enough about how incredible my experience was at this resort. The views were immaculate, the room was beautiful, and the staff really made the trip all the better. I have to give my biggest thanks to our personal concierge, A. Eriol, for great communication, excellent service, and thoughtfulness throughout our stay. He even set up romantic surprises in our room at the end of the day! Also, special shout out to Wanda and Pedro for great bar service at our reserve pool. I love the place and the staff are superb the food is also good. But the actual hotels needs much work done. From small details to some major health and safety works in the rooms. I am more than happy to provide an extensive details if required as I feel the place has so much potential to be even better than what it is. Our concierge Wily was super and worked well with us and made our stay even more enjoyable sorting all things for us. We absolutely loved our stay! From the moment we arrived, our personal concierge (Juan Carlos Sierra) had dinner booked and provided us with a resort tour. Throughout our stay, Juan Carlos stayed in contact with us and promptly answered any questions we had. The resort itself was beautiful and quiet. Our swim up room offered amazing privacy with access to servers for food and drinks. The nighttime parties were entertaining and the staff was great.

We went and ate at the Sante restaurant and had the best waiters! Franklin and Franklin Miguel were the best and very accommodating! The chef Rafael was amazing as well! I also have to comment on how wonderful Martin was! Everyday he would greet us and remembered our names and had a drink waiting for us every time we went to the beach! We loved this resort and all of the staff! Highly recommend

We stayed here January 15 for a week and it's a beautiful place. Maria Ortiz at the buffet was a fabulous server, she was attentive smiles all the time and very welcoming. Check in at front desk was fast and Louise and the young lady sorry forgot her name. Were fantastic. The cleaning staff and refreshment restocking staff were amazing. The food was delicious every day. Jose Remirez took good care of us at check out time and made sure to get us on our transport bus with baggage he took wonderful care of us when leaving. The only thing that needs to be changed is the way you book for restaurant reservations, that was a mess with long line ups and can only book current day and next day. Also the gentleman that was booking us for reservations on the Thursday morning midway in conversation started talking to a Spanish speaking woman who was already dealing with someone else and ignored us That was the only thing that was a disappointment 😞 We will definitely be back.

Stayed for a week in the regular Paradisus Palma Real. As experienced Paradisus/Melia PC guests we almost upgraded to the Reserve (as we always have in the past) but last minute decided not to. Based on recent reviews we were extremely surprised at the good service and food quality. Our room was new, beautiful and clean with a view of the ocean in the adults only section. Daily housekeeping was excellent. The adults only (non reserve) pool was amazing (60yd lap for swimmers out there) and the beach clean. The bars and services were plentiful. Yes, getting dinner reservations was a pain. You have to get in line early at 8:45am daily (opens at 9am) to get anything around 7pm for the next day, but the restaurants were all really good and worth the wait. The sushi bar was first come first serve for dinner and was also actually really good. We loved the Ginger bar and the sports bar and the nightly performances in the plaza were great too. Shout out to John, Georgina and Judy at the Lunchbox buffet who took care of us for breakfast and lunch daily. We will return!

We had the best 4 days ever! The service was exceptional, and the resort itself was beyond beautiful. The grounds were spectacular and so clean. The room was one of the best we have ever had. Lastly, the service was phenomenal. Such amazing people. Can't wait to come back with our kids!

Overall we had a great time at the resort. We were here for 5 nights and the location is perfect. Right on the beach with lots of pools around. Our personal concierge, Luis Cadet was amazing and always at our service. He was very helpful and made sure all our reservations for dinner and anything else we needed was all done! I would recommend that there are more food options to cater to different people. We ate at Flora which was amazing; however, Mina steakhouse was a disappointment. Also the room service takes a long time to deliver so would recommend to speed that up.

Paradisus trip in DR was absolutely amazing. We went for my daughter’s 7th birthday and Irvin (our concierge) did a fabulous job of setting her birthday dinner on the beach. Our stay at the pool we had Melvin who was on top of things for us and made our stay super awesome! We would come back here again as the people are nice and friendly! The hotel is simply gorgeous!

Family vacation with little kids 7 and 3 yr old. Amazing stay, location is great! Irvin is amazing at what he does he was there every step of the way. He even gave my kids sand toys hats and coloring book! The buffet - they remembered our drinks, where we sat, they were so kind to our kids. been to Punta Cana 5 times to different hotels each time- and I can definitely see ourselves coming back here. We had the master swim up room and i highly recommend it.

It is a very loving place for families. Best part of our trip was having Felix Garcia help us step by step. He had answers for everything, he did all the restaurant reservations so we didn't have to remember to do it every day. Trust me that was very helpful, so that we can enjoy our trip and not worry about things. If u get him u will be stress free.

Resort was nice, very clean, and well maintained. It was quiet and not crowded. Osvaldo was great! 5 stars for Osvaldo. He was always available, answered our questions, and made our dinner reservations. Overall the service was good, but there were some servers near the buffet area that were not as nice. If you're looking for a quiet relaxing getaway, I would recommend this place. It is also very family friendly with lots of activities for kids. If you do not have kids and are looking for a more active resort with more day and evening activities/shows, this place may not be for you. For the days we were there it was quiet and started to pick up the last few days before we left because there was a conference taking place. Maybe we went during the wrong week, but I was looking for more day activities by the beach and pool and it didn't feel like much was going on compared to other resorts I have stayed in. Aside from this, it was a relaxing few days.

Nice hotel, my concierge Yaleidi Sims it was amazing! So much fun!!! Great experience at Kicks bar. The second we walked into the bar the ambience & music was fantastic! The bartenders were having fun, dancing & mixing fantastic drinks. The overall crowd was welcoming and have a great time. So glad we came in tonight. Can’t wait to come back!

This is our seventh time staying here and we absolutely love it! The resort recently updated the main hotel building and the adults only section and it is very lush. Definitely make sure you hang out with Wanda at the adults only bar and Martin and Pedro on the beach! They’re the best and will take care of you. Also, Jorge Rafael did a great job of planning fun activities and keeping us informed of what was going on each day during our stay! Highly recommend!

This resort was amazing and our concierge “Juan Castillo ” made it even better. The grounds were simply amazing. Dining was also awesome and food was delicious. Pool bar tenders are awesome people also… I highly recommend nanny if you have kids there all high quality people.

This place is paradise. Check-in was fast and simple. The room was amazing, it had a swim-up pool directly outside the backdoor. Multiple restaurants on location. Adult only and family areas are available at the resort. The beach was clean and set up with plenty of chairs and private cabanas. My concierge Raul helped with everything I needed. He made reservations at any restaurant I requested. He messaged daily to make sure my stay was perfect. He provided daily lists of activities and things to do around the venue. He went above and beyond to make my stay a pleasure. Stephanie, the guest service manager, also made sure my stay was as perfect as possible. Paradisus has an excellent team and I recommend this resort.

I had a great time here! The Kids Club was great. We love Joanna Santana... We just upgraded and will be back in August! Jorge Rafael was great in the hat workshop! Also Luis Rodriguez was a great waiter at the buffet!!! Our concierge was great--we will be back!

This review is for the hydro grill only and my experience there. The restaurant was nice, very good service and the portions were generous. The servers Ulisis and Kelvin were great and attentive through out the meal. They took care of the food restrictions our dining party had and went out of their way to ensure everything was correct. You could tell they enjoyed their job and interacting with the guests.

The service across the hotel is amazing. The bartenders were the best making wonderful drinks. The bar had great drinks ,coffees and a lot of Amazing things . the best part of it was the wonderful service from my concierge FRANSISCO VILORIO, he knows what he's doing. we had no issues communicating each other in my native language. I highly recommend him, he is the best. Thank you very much. I hope you never quits. and the staff behind the bar are the best! At the lobby. Thank you all for everything.

Overall, great service at the front desk and by the service staff throughout our stay. Room was clean and well maintained. Housekeeping staff was courteous and respectful. Dinner at the restaurants was tasty (though limited vegetarian options). Lunch at the buffet place was ok though lacked good vegetarian options. Really loved the private beach area. The only negative (and this has nothing to do with the hotel itself) was their sales pitch (at Falcon hotel, which was in the same resort) regarding joining their circle club. THE SALES PERSON WASTED OUR WHOLE MORNING ON THAT. !! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND SIGNING A CONTRACT IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY!!

We had a wonderful time at Paradisus Palma Real… the service, food, location, and specifically our concierge Felix Garcia were all amazing. Also, special thanks to Ivelecce for helping us with a smooth check in and check out process. We are a family of 5, 4 vegetarians and 1 with nut allergies; and we were very well taken care of with multiple options being offered at each of the restaurants as well as the buffet. We had excellent stay at Paradisus Palm Real for 5 nights. It was a wonderful experience overall. We had the concierge service. Our concierge was Mr. Wiley. He was very nice gentleman and very helpful and very friendly. He was always available to us and answered all our questions. He helped us with Hotel Reservations for all nights. He helped us with arranging photographer so we could capture lovely memories. Time to time he worked with other staff members to ensure all things are in place. I highly recommend working with Wiley

We started at the Paradisus Playa Real with my family (wife and 2 infants) and we really enjoyed the updated decor and the recent renovations. Melvin was great at getting us acclimated into our room. We had to switch rooms a few times and he helped make it right. Luis was our top server and without a doubt waited on us hand and foot to give us the best service possible. He made our stay top notch and helped us enjoy our first family vacation in the Caribbean. Juan Carlos was a true gentleman and great to accommodate us during our stay with any issues we had. Highly recommend staying at this resort.

My stay at the resort was amazing! Our concierge, Hector, was very professional and answered questions promptly through Whatsapp messaging. He took the time to introduce himself in person and even organize a birthday surprise for us. There are many activities and beautiful sights on the resort. The lounge areas and restaurants are beautifully decorated. The food and drinks had its ups and downs, but was overall tasty. We spent some time off of the resort to take part in excursions. The hotel offers packages for excursions at a fair price. Although, we purchased our packages at the airport for a seemingly better price. The resort is also near other resorts, popular nightclubs and an amusement park. We were able to do so many things during our stay and created great memories!

This an amazing resort and we were here last 2 years ago. The upgrades to the resort are amazing and more family friendly. We stayed at the Reserve this time and Hector was our great concierge who quickly resolved a room leak issue and had us moved. He provided the best service overall and for a great NYE experience. The resort was super energetic and staff accommodating during a fully booked timing.

The view was absolutely amazing, and the rooms were beautiful. Most of the service was excellent and accommodating. I had a great time with my family overall. I did have trouble with a marijuana smell in my room that kept coming back everyday. I do not smoke and it was definitely concerning to me. However, every time I called room service, they did a great job getting the smell out of the room. There was also trouble with making reservations at the restaurants. It was a little troubling because my family spent a lot of money to come to this resort and there were a few times were a simple ‘no’ was given instead of a solution. Luckily, the hostesses at the restaurants were very helpful. It was just a little frustrating seeing that we spent money as club members and were not always a priority. Despite this, most other experiences with the staff were very pleasant. The whole time, we had maybe one rude waiter, but again, the rest of the staff was absolutely amazing.

Our first stay here at this resort! It was a great stay. From the moment we arrived everyone was very friendly. We were greeted by Ernesto who helped us throughout our whole trip he is the BEST!! He helped my boyfriend do a birthday surprise and it was beautiful and I definitely recommend coming!

Beautiful hotel! Views are amazing, hotel staff was equally amazing. Everyone was very attentive and provided great customer service. Our concierge Juan Carlos was amazing- he helped us out so much! Bartender Luis was the best! Jordania was amazing! Cons- everything closes at 10pm.. we came here on a friends trip and this hotel isn’t a party hotel. We spent a lot of time off the resort doing excursions.

Fantastic service, everyone is very nice and helped us with whatever we needed. Fernando was great and so helpful with getting us reservations at whatever restaurant we wanted to try that evening, and keeping us updated with activities. Would definitely recommend trying out Sante, Eduardo Jose and Amanda gave us excellent service and kept our glasses full! Also try out Flora for delicious Caribbean cuisine. easily the two best restaurants on the resort. Overall a fantastic stay at this resort.

Antonio was especially attentive and would surprise us with different drinks. I am not a big coffee drinker but he has expanded my taste for coffee. They also make excellent smoothies! We had a great experience at this resort. The staff was amazing and attentive especially at the flora restaurant inside the resort. They were very welcoming and friendly. The hostess Ana and the waiter Vladimir were extremely sweet and professional. They are an example of great customer service. Also, Special thank you to Lennison and Jimmy for their attentive and curious customer service when we arrived and leave. They were very welcoming and happy to assist us. They made us feel very special and treated us with so much love. I love it 🥰 ❤️

We had a fantastic time. Guest service was incredible. Vicmar and Jordan helped me with everything I possibly needed. We definitely enjoyed the entertainment and food. We loved everyone's hospitality. This hotel is a luxury hotel with lots to do.

Had a great.time here, rooms were cozy, great views, restaurants were nice eve. Tho we didn't eat much, this property is huge and they have things going on every night for your entertainment, if you need someone to assist you get with Edgar he took on all of our needs and went over and beyond for us. We had a wonderful stay at the Paradisus Palma Real. The grounds are beautiful and so green. Everyone is so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Martin and Pedro at the Reserve beach were wonderful - they had our beach beds ready for us before we arrived to the beach in the morning. Our concierge Juan was so attentive and nice. He checked up on us every morning to see if we needed everything. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Everything was tasty. Lloelis was also great - very friendly and helpful! All in all, we had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

At my stay at here, we were helped by one of the most amazing people named Juan Castillo. He gave us 20/10 service and made myself and my girlfriend feel beyond welcomed. I would highly recommend him to anybody as a server. Also, in the reserve section, the bartender Wanda and Pedro not only made some of the best drinks but also made the days so much fun! They all have such great hearts and personalities. We are absolutely going to be coming here again plenty of times in the future not even for the resort itself but to see the same great people who made this trip so special. I had the BEST time here! My friend joined me on a business trip and we hadn’t seen each other in 10 years! Alejandro at the hotel was incredible! He helped us find local restaurants- shopping- dinner reservations at the hotel and so much more! Alejandro helped us daily with anything we needed or had questions on. He was so patient, friendly, and a friend for life! Thank you Alejandro for making our stay 6 stars!

This is my second review. My first was a 5 star for the lobby & common areas and server & entertainment staff. This review is for room & management. We requested a 3rd bed and unfortunately it had bed bugs. We reported it and it was dealt with right away. We were given another room and were upgraded. However, communication seems to get lost from management to housekeeping so we had keep calling back and reminding them. The bathrooms could be better maintained. So our room itself was not an ideal experience.

Abraham Torres has made my stay this week an awesome experience! He made my group of 10’s dining experience at the Italian restaurant one to remember with his amazing service. He was also wonderful at breakfast as well and can’t forget about his amazing ice coffees!

The resort is nice and the food is very well done at the restaurants. The entertainment is nice and the service is amazing. The pool is nice and the swim up bar is very nice. In entertainment Anderson Rodriguez was very good in entertainment and he taught the class very well. He was very nice and made the class easy for my Russian speaking aunt. Thank you to him.

Paradisus Palma Real has both a beautiful location and EXCELLENT customer service. The team in this resort will go over and beyond to assist you and make your stay a fantastic one. Our stay at the Palma Real was amazing! From the time we got there our concierge, Starlin Taverez, was so accommodating and kind. He took great care of us all week and helped us with anything we needed. He reserved all of dinners and excursion. The place was gorgeous and everyone was so friendly, I highly recommend staying here and ask for Starlin as a concierge! He’s wonderful!!

All I can say is wow. Place is absolutely beautiful. Activities are OK. Service is top notch. They make you feel like royalty. Place is rocking on the weekends. Restaurants are hit and miss. Hibachi and Steakhouse were great. The others were so so. Breakfast and lunch buffet are fantastic.

Resort facilities are good. All inclusive is definitely worth the money. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Pool is great. Entertainment is decent. Clean white sand beaches. Downside is seaweed in the water; however, if you are visiting Dominican Republic you probably know about the seaweeds.

My wife and I spent 7 days at the resort. Our room was very spacious and the service & hospitality was exceptional. However, we were extremely dissatisfied with the food for this all inclusive resort. For some reason all the food was cold from the buffet. The food from the some of the restaurants were served lukewarm as if it had been prepared well in advance. Some food tasted old or freezer burnt. That definitely put a damper on our stay.

What a special resort! It is beautiful, immaculately clean, and the staff could not work harder to make you happy and feel special. The food is excellent. Happy boy and Reynaldo on the entertainment staff were especially warm, fun and encouraged my mom and I to take part in lots of dancing and fun activities. We especially loved making dolls, Aqua trampoline and dancing at night at Gabi beach. Thank you for everything, we can’t wait to come back.

We were blessed to be served by Abraham Torres in this restaurant, who was also our morning buffet waiter throughout the entire duration of our stay. He always ensured that my lactose intolerant mother had almond milk at the table, without even asking after the second day! We will never forget him and his kind service. When he told us Sal was worth the visit, he did not lie! We ordered the French Onion Soup, Flank Steak, Salad with nuts, and delicious Apple Pie for dessert. Not one bad word about the food. The steak was cooked perfectly, with the most delicious sauces. Sal will not disappoint, and the service add on to the amazing environment.

I would not have written a review based on the sub-par food alone. Do not use guest services, one guest services representative alone caused us to waste hundreds of dollars and about 1.5 days of our vacation, I'm certain for her own financial gain. The worst part is her boss, Domingo Beltre, asked me to get in touch with him the next day, but he ignored us all day, the day before we left for home. We told guest services we wanted to scuba dive, we did not know they offered an easy and inexpensive package right at the resort, she proceeded to put us in touch with an outside person buy the name of Juana Carlos. He set us up for two dives at Catalina Island for $525.00, to be clear, we are not certified, we made this clear to guest services as well as Juana Carlos. This was expensive, but sounded awesome so we said yes. We were supposed to go on a Wednesday morning, it was supposed to take all day from 7am til 6pm. Tuesday night Juana told us that Scuba for Wednesday was canceled. We rescheduled for Thursday. Wednesday night he text us to tell us it was canceled again, however then was able to get us in, telling us we would still go to Catalina. Thursday morning we met our shuttle, without a clue as to where we were going. It stopped in a random location where I met someone to swipe my CC, then we proceeded to drive to a small village about an hour away, were we did the Padi class (to be expected) then went out to do a single dive right off shore. The dive was great, but it was not two dives at Catalina Island. This entire process took from 7am til about 4pm, we could have done this at the resort in half the time for half the money. Upon our return, I asked Juana Carlos for some money back as we did not do two dives at Catalina, we did the class and one dive, he refused. I talked to the guest services supervisor Domingo, he assured us he would get us some spa package the following day, he ignored us the entire day. Very poor service I would say. On top of all of this, on Wednesday we wanted to go to fleet market and shop, the same guest services rep that sent us with Juana Carlos, I'm sure to her profit, sent us to a little mall with museum, hardly any shopping we wanted to do there, we ended up paying for a cab to take us to a fleet market that was 5 minutes from our resort. Again, very disappointing. We will not return to this resort, it is unreal they would first off take our time, our money, but then not step up when things are not right.

Raphyel and the whole beach crew couldn’t have been nicer or more attentive. The whole place was beautiful, food & drinks were on point, and everyone was so helpful. We’ll definitely be back!

Wonderful resort....food entertainment facilities but most importantly the staff...especially Reynaldo Monegro aka GPS...people are so giving...full of positive energy ...they make your trip unforgettable... I highly recommend this Paradisus..Melia resort whether it’s Reserve...Circle or Royal or Otherwise The shows and entertainment provide a special vibe for couples ...children parents etc...

We were so lucky to arrive and see our favorite bartender Edison Alcántara. His friendliness, attention to detail, and superior mixology set him apart from the rest of the amazing staff. His fellow bartender Lillian at the Lobby bar is also a joy. Overall the quality of the restaurants has improved since the last time we came here.

Terrible service and quality. This place apparently went down the toilet. This was my third time and it was terrible this time around. We came with a group of 22 ppl and every family had issues with either their check in process, room quality, lack of running water etc. The buffet took a turn for the worse in the past. The staff has gotten to be rude and lacks the common courtesy they used to have. Go stay at another place like Barceló or Eden rock. It’s not worth paying all this money for this place anymore (and we are a seasoned traveling family all around the world at 4/5 star places)

This is a few months overdue, but...We had a such a great time at The Reserve! Our concierge, Sam was incredible! Really, the entire staff was unbelieveably hospitable and kind. Sam took the guess work out of everything. Anything we wanted to do and anything we had questions on, he had the answers. He also made all of our reservations for all dinners. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone, especially for families and small children. When you're there, make sure to take care of the staff because they'll definitely take care of you!

Edison is the best bartender we have ever encountered!!!!! I want to take him home with us!!! I have absolutely loved our stay at Paradisus Palma Real because of him! He makes the best drinks and is a pleasure to talk to! Thanks for helping make our vacation awesome!!!!!

Everything was fabulous. Our concierge Simeon provided outstanding service. Dinner at Sante was super. It was impressive to watch Milton manage his team to ensure us and all the other guest was well served. It was a pleasure to meet Chef Rafael who prepared a fabulous meal. Additionally, Jose and the other staff provided us excellent service.

This was an absolutely amazing holiday at a stunning hotel complex. The rooms and facilities at the Reserve are incredible, and since Palma Real is under construction, we were given access to Paradisus Grand Cana. Grand Cana is equally as beautiful and has an additional few restaurants that we had access to, as well as a beautiful pool area with a great swim up bar. The food at the restaurants was better than expected, with Mina Steakhouse being especially great. All of the staff are so friendly and made the experience even better. Our concierge Nathanael was also amazing and reserved a new restaurant for us each night, and made sure to send us the activity list each day for both the Reserve and Grand Cana, which was super helpful. Highly highly recommend!

Excellent service. We had a great time at this Resturant. We were met by Mr. Manuel Torres and everything he recommended was amazing. This was our first time at the Aqua at the Reserve and we were amazed. Excellent food and service. Our waiter Katy was also very pleasant and on top of it. We would come here again. Thank you for all you do Katy and Mr. Manuel Torres. You both deserve a raise.

This trip was excellent all around. The food was great. The service was amazing. Our concierge Jorge went above and beyond to ensure we had a seamless, stress-free vacation. He made restaurant reservations for us and made sure our table was always ready on time. he checked in with us daily but respected our time as well. Giovanna was fantastic. Despite how busy she is running the hotel, she always took the time to ensure we had a wonderful trip. She is fantastic. I would highly recommend the end units with the wrap-around balcony. It's a great room if you can get it.

The resort was amazing but the people there were even better. Our concierge, Ariel, was always there for us and he went above and beyond for us. We brought our little one with us and he got sick half way through our trip. The staff helped take us and our son to the doctor right away and got us everything we needed. They all constantly checked in on us and would always stop us to chat when they saw us around the resort. Once our kiddo felt better Ariel came to our room and set up a small pool party for him on the balcony tub. Overall it was a great experience! The food could be better but the people there made up for it.

Service was great. Good food with lots of variety. Beach amazing. Would highly recommend this hotel for pleasure or business.

I want Yoiner Jose to be commended for be extra special throughout our entire stay. He was extremely attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Please give him whatever is available to him to make his life enjoyable.

The Gym Stick with Happy Boy on beach was very good. The workout trained the hole body. 5 stars

The property is beautiful…one of the best lobbies and common area, clean open rooms. I really appreciated that most of the common areas were open air with a view of the ocean. The pool was great although wish it had some more shallow parts that would make the pool bar more accessible for those of us who don’t like getting our hair wet in the pool every day. The beach access was amazing. My biggest frustration was the lack of clear information around upgrade to the reserve. I wish this information was more clearly available during the time of booking so that me and the rest of the group I was with (3 rooms total), could have made a better decision. The biggest challenge was trying to get any reservations for the restaurants. The system was that on Sunday morning reservations for the entire week opened up. So if you checked in on a Thursday you pretty much had no shot of getting a reservation at any of the restaurants, unless you had reserve upgrade. Most of the restaurants were half empty when we would walk by yet we were repeatedly told there was no availability. When Sunday came we were one of the first groups in line to try to make reservations for the rest of the trip including Sunday night. We were immediately told there was no availability for Sunday night or Monday night even if we split into two gyros of 4—-how can this be when we were literally the third group in line??? My sister patiently worked with the service rep to ultimately find us availability But it was like they were doing us a favor. We made it work but the amount of time and disappointment really took away from the overall experience. The staff was really nice and helped if you asked a question; However, there was a element of personalized service that was missing. I think you got this if you upgraded to the reserve. For example if we were at the beach we hardly saw any service being offered. I needed help to book a return car service back to the airport and they had no information available and said they only thing they could do is book me a taxi…? Really?. So it was the small things that could’ve been better for a getaway that wasn’t exactly cheap. That being said the property is beautiful the meals that we did get at the restaurants were great. The bartenders were always super friendly. I would probably come back but only if I can afford upgrade to the reserve (since I don’t know how much the upgrade is).

We had a great time at the hotel so far. The check in experience was very good and we are very happy with the overall service as well as our room. We had dinner at Cape Now restaurant tonight. Every aspect of our dinner experience was great. We received amazing service from Calvin and Jose during our dinner. The food was excellent and the vibe is very nice. We would definitely come back again.

We had the best time at The Reserve at Paradisus! The service and ambiance are top notch. Our children (ages 8,5,& 3) absolutely loved the kids club and the extremely friendly staff and we were beyond happy with the resort and the service we received over our week long stay. We definitely recommend this for families and couples alike. Five star service and amenities!

It was a pleasure to have Ernesto Guerrero as our consierge. He was very attentive to our needs and followed through with his commitments. He addressed and escalated issues to the right people so they could get resolved. His daily follow-ups to ensure all was well was very well received by us. Ernesto is a very knowledgeable and honest person. He deserves high praise for his thorough and dedicated work to ensure his guests are happy and enjoying themselves. Concierge: Excellent, good job Gustavo! Very polite and kind. Always tilted to help us anytime. Score = 100 for you! Customer Service (Restaurants/Bars - on the beach) - Takes around 1 hour to get 1 drink on the beach, if they remember I gave up lot of times when they started to forget my drinks. Also the restaurant on the beach the food was served cold, I wouldn't recommend. Customer Service (Restaurants - Close to the main pool) - They are good, the food is good. The plus I would say would go for the Sushi Place. Also The pool restaurant sometimes I had misunderstanding with my orders but nothing bad, the food there was good as well. Customer Service (Bars - Main Area, Pool) - In general, very good. Premium drinks, bartenders very kind. Extra points for that! Towels (Pool Area) - Very difficult to get a towel, I think you guys should improve this point. In General: In general I was a good stay but could be better. I would recommend!

We loved the layout of the property. The landscaping was amazing. The variety in restaurants was excellent. Staff throughout the resort made our vacation the best. They were warm, professional, and attentive to our needs. Our butler, Edgar, checked in with us several times a day. He facilitated our reservations, our covid tests, and our transportation to the airport. Whatever questions we had, he had the answer for.

The location is amazing, the facility beautiful, clean and well maintained. Staff is kind and welcoming. But - Food is terrible! Both buffet and restaurants. Ended up eating outside of the resort few times. Although the staff is great, you are constantly in a tourist trap, even within the hotel. Gift shop selling at x4 $$, the comfy beds at the beach for additional cost and so many more similar experiences. Won't come back.

The Paradisus Palma Real was amazing. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and the staff was very friendly. We had a memorable vacation and experience. There were many activities and we had so much fun with Andelson Rodriguez. He was always there to get the party started and get us involved in the activities. He was always there to take our picture as well! Andelson was very friendly and provided excellent customer service!

The service was amazing all around - highly recommend upgrading to the Reserve for access to adult only sections (if applicable of course! Great family areas too) - this also grants you a private butler/concierge. We had Juan and he made the trip for us - from dinner reservations to sunscreen...just can't say enough good things. This resort has my highest recommendation.

Fernando was the BEST! He truly is the people’s champion! From the moment we got here he made the whole trip so easy and relaxing. He made all of our reservations so easy, communicated with us with ease in a foreign country, and made sure we enjoyed our vacation. Would recommend this hotel for the beach, pools, and top tier service. Personally request Fernando if you want your stay to be top notch.

Wonderful week at the resort. Many of the employees are wonderful and they go above expectations to please the guests! Raul Jimenez at the beach - always attentive and ready to do whatever he can to make your vacation more pleasant. Franchesca at the breakfast and lunch buffet - always anticipating whatever we needed. Ricki at the dinner buffet - wonderful! These are wonderful people that help us create wonderful memories of our vacations. We will look for them next year when our family group of 7 adults come back.
