Honestly it's a fun spot. Great vibes. It's a nice escape from the controlled environment at the resorts ! It's very local so just be aware of your surroundings! Grab a table and a hookah and people watch! Then dance the night away! Also if you can make sure you have a ride picking u up so you don't have to wait outside with the crowd, cause that can get really crazy, real quick!

We visited on a Saturday night and had a great time. There is space for dancing, plenty of seating, and space to stand and enjoy the music. The DJ played a mixture of Hispanic music and UK/US chart toppers. The staff are friendly and the venue has a friendly vibe with no trouble. I think one of the best features of the setup is that the bar is in a separate room. This is brilliant as the main venue area is not full of people queuing for drinks. UK based bars/clubs should try and replicate this.

Great place. Probably my favorite bar with dancing in Bavaro. Only 4 star due to parking. #1 It is really tight parking. #2 The people in the parking lot expect a tip. Not sure if they truly work or just asking for tips.

If you like nightclubs and want to start the night out early come to this spot, we got VIP with bottle service and it was cheaper than a typical night out in NYC or Miami. Had a great vibe and music was good. I definitely recommend going here if you are staying close by.

Gets super busy, would definitely recommend coming earlier on weekends if you want to sit. They played really good music the first time i went was such a vibe, great place to enjoy with friends. The second time I went it was just mainly rap music which was kinda odd when people wanted dancing music. But nonetheless still a great place would highly recommend.

Great place to feel right at the corner hood bar but a little bigger. It has lots of space and it has a VIP section. It attracts the local crowd but travelers love to feel the warmth of the people that frequent this place. I don’t like the fact that there’s always some type of hustle going on in the front and that the parking is hard to get. Beside that it’s safe and entertaining so pay this place a visit you’ll remember it when you leave.

I liked the club mostly because it's not just tourists. The music was on point, they played reggaeton, dembow, bachata and afro.

Nice local spot.. good mix of ppl. Very lively. free to get in. Just be aware that some of the women try pick pocket then men I went with. Other then that it was a good fun safe night out.

Visted this past Thursday we purchased a bottle of tequila and they refilled it with vodka thinking we won’t notice and taped it back up to make it seem like it was a brand new bottle. Seems like they like to take advantage of us tourists.

Drink Point Bavaro is located in a very busy intersection. Its location is favorable to it and puts it a step ahead of its competitors, because of its ease of access. The prices are affordable and the service acceptable. Anytime you are in Bavaro, Punta Cana. This place can turn out to be one of your landmarks in terms of fun and nightlife.

I like it when the DJ mix it up and blend American music with ragae and Spanish to show the versatility. But don't just stay on Latin music for the whole night

It's a great bar and the women are all smoking hot, but they all want money. More hustlers than a pool hall.

Drink point is a must when you visit Punta Cana. A nice atmosphere starting from 22 night till early morning at 5. Nice vibe and lots of people. To be honest here you can find a lot of local ladies if you are looking for but prices are expensive like everything in Punta Cana. Drinks are averrage so we had 4 beers and one Cola we paid 13000 ( local $). Taxi is the disaster when going back home. All is about money here and this is what makes things negative here. For a five minutes ride we paid around 10 USD. Listen gives believe me renting a car here is a must if you don't want headack.

For tourists that want a club environment that's safe and they know how to party...this is the spot, went 3 nights in a row.

It gets popping here in the late evenings. The local girls come out and there’s live music and dance. Drinks are fairly cheap and there’s hookah and stuff too. There are two other clubs directly behind this one as well. It’s pretty much the local party corner for Bávaro.

Drink point is the spot. If you are in Punta Cana, definitely hit up Drink Point. There’s a lot of locals there so it can be intimidating but go with a group and make sure someone in the group can speak Spanish 😂

I’m giving this 4 stars because the music is amazing, a blend of salsa, bachata, Spanish and Us hip hop. However when it comes to service this place is ridiculous. The waiters are so slow. They don’t look your direction. They stay in a corner the min they served a customer. Then take ages to get back to you.

We visited this bar while we were in DR. It was very very packed and very hard to get a drink. It also seemed like a younger crowd. But the music was great and everyone seemed to be having a great time. We got there probably the last hour and spent majority of the time at the bar. I would come back again if I was ever in DR.

Had a great time. The atmosphere was so incredible and everyone was so chill and had a good times vibe. Definently recommend going for some local good times and fun.

I expected to see a Latin dance floor with a lot of people dance around but in fact it has a feeling of terrible Ukrainian night club with this “pickup touch” in it. Music is loud which makes impossible to talk. So basically two hours I spent there - people just drinking. During this 2 hours Bachata songs were putted twice and once they played salsa. Three stars because entrance is free and I did dance a bit

Why I liked it: If you like dembow, reggaeton this is the place for you to come. Seems like there were locals here too. I love this music and the vibes were great. Staff were nice as well. The beginning of the night they were playing lots of hip hop, shek Wes etc. As the night progressed it turned into Bachata music. Walked in and without asking the staff pulled a table and chairs from the back so we could sit. Staff brought us drinks immediately Security was really nice and waited until our ride came to pick us up. If you don't like lots of flashing lights this may be more suitable for you. Things to consider: Some of the pictures made it seem like this is on the beach. It is not at all. The women's bathroom is nasty. Went into a stall with no toilet seat. No soap to wash hands. Nothing to dry your hands. One of the sinks had garbage in it. -dont expect much from a nightclub bathroom but I would expect a toilet seat lol! If you don't listen to dembow, reggaeton this may not be the place for you. I loved the music because I listen to that style of music, but my friend was not vibing. Female Tourists- servers/staff do not look like they work there! They do not have a uniform per se so we were a little uncertain who had brought us drinks. Staff? Or patrons? My friend doesn't like smoke and there was hookah, vaping etc allowed inside.

I arrived at 0100 AM Friday out of curiosity, 4 police vehicles were outside the establishment with red and blue lights flashing - That was the first red flag. Felt like a club on the south side of Chicago. There was nothing Latino about this place, felt like America.

Excellent spot to vibe out off the resort, their Mamajuana here slaps hard! Be sure to try it out. Bring cash with you and don't use your credit cards.

Nice club full of fine girls but they just bag chasing. You can easily weed them out because they look and act thirsty. Esp for Americans

Went to this place with my friend on our vacation. Went here twice. They play a variety of music. And for those of us who like more urban music and rap music, they have it here. Good service with the waiter. Hookah here. Decent drinks.

Best place I visited in DR by far!!! Service was excellent. Everyone is friendly and helpful. DJ was amazing. Played American, African and Spanish music which made a super fun night. Prices are awesome. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Punta Cana

I love the vibe and the music . Also a shout out to the bathroom attendee i believe her name ia Nancy she was amazing. I also felt safe.

Little night club in punta cana Didn’t feel unsafe but I’m also Dominican so I blended in. Power went out at one point for less then a minute. A lot of people constantly walking through and it’s an open concept so it’ll feel warm

Had a good time at this club and it had some good music playing. Most of the music was English so don't come expecting many others.

Great place for dancing and local vibe music. Friday nights around 10pm is when it gets busy and open until 1pm. Then you can go to Affinity which is attached around the back until 2am. Affinity and Drink point have lots of security for your protection. The average age is around 25-35 but many different age groups come there for entertainment. Drink prices range from coke and rum $300 pesos to beers from $250 pesos. Depending on the brand and premium drinks. Bottle service is the way to go if you have a couple of people that like to drink.

Low key and local Dominican bar in Punta Cana. Great spot for a cold beers when you want to get away from the resorts and tourist traps.

Call me old but when you can’t talk because of the loud music and it doesn’t help people speaking rapidly in Spanish. But in general a nice place and good party with nice people…

Great place for a night out. Outdoors mostly. Usually packed. Great music. During the week they close at midnight, and weekends about 2am.

For a Local place it is okay... If you are alone by the end of it you won't be alone if this is your choice... It is fun and very safe location... Never saw anything bad -- people just want to be happy! I recommend the place!
