Very informative and good guide. The buggies are beat to heck with 3rd world brakes, transmission and pretty much no safety gear. Beggars come running from the hills when they hear the engines. The tour was good if you want thy o go off the beaten path. You must be able to drive a stick shift. Glad I did it once, but would not do it again as the buggies scared the heck out of my family.

The best excursion I've ever been on. Kurt takes you on rough terrain and the cities streets in the coolest buggy I've ever driven. You get to see punta cana through different eyes not just the resort. He is very knowledgeable about the beautiful island. From the start we took off from Kurt's house to a little store and rooster fighting exhibition after that there were multiple stops. Lunch at a local cigar factory where we ate looking at the mountains. A stop at Macau beach was great..clear blue waters! Then a chocolate factory and a rum factory right next to each other. If you go to punta cana YOU HAVE TO BOOK A FUN BUGGY TOUR! I am already planning my next trip back!

One of the best excursions in Punta Cana. Kurt gives you tour of real Dominican Republic. Shows you the rural areas, farms, local small grocery stores, and shows that how people live their lives. Cock fight was another attraction he showed. And then local beach.

The best excursion I have ever been on. If you want to experience the real D.R. this is your tour. The buggies are standard transmission so I hope you can drive a stick. It is a full day, Kurt and his crew will treat you like family. I can't say enough about this tour. Ten plus all the way around.

Best buggy excursion in the Dominican. I have been on this adventure numerous times and its still the best. I highly recommend this excursion.

Kurt was fantastic, as always. Did the tour New Years Eve. Had also done it last March, and my wife wanted to do it again. This time we brought friends, and they loved it as well. They claimed it was the best thing they had ever done ( I already knew that). His Mechanic ( I forget his name) is also AWESOME! Best Buggy tour in all Dominican. I would definitely do it again !! The customer service was outstanding and contributed immensely to the air of the vacation! Fun buggy will jump through hoops to make sure you love your ride! Aside from seeing the sights, we received an entire class (at our request) on the country's history, people, economy, politics, etc. Very knowledgeable and they were more than willing to accommodate. Rum and chocolate tours were outstanding too! We went two years ago and still remember the great experience! Go with fun buggy!

I emailed Kurt before we booked out tour. Kurt was always prompt in responding to my questions. There were five in my group. As stated, you have to be able to drive stick.He is the BEST guide, very informative, pleasant and multi-lingual. The day offers a variety of activities including driving in the country side , visiting out of the ordinary places, fresh lunch, beach visit and local exposure. If you have ANY hesitations about safety, FORGET THEM. This is totally safe and fun. Another couple came along for their first trip and were more than pleasantly pleased. I am a tough critic and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking this tour. Thanks Kurt

Whole day fun, awesome drive around villages and see the real Dominican Republic, some horse back riding for those who want, school visit and best beach, the Macao Beach, dont let it become private, locals want to keep it public!! Fantastic guide. The buggy's are fun to drive, but yes they take a beating and are not new but well maintained. No power steering, no assisted brake system. Like a modern car. Buggy's have real seat belts, no Plastik seat belts like others. Very important in the back there is a backup véhicle, the mechanic Miguel, who helps out and stop traffic on the main roads. We felt save all the time. Thanks again Kurt and the Fun-buggy team

My family and I absolutely loved Kurt and the Funbuggy tour. We did the full tour and it was not disappointing at all. Kurt is so knowledgable and patient. We learned so much and had even more fun!! We were in the DR for a wedding and some of the guests chose another tour, when we told them about our Funbuggy experience, they were a bit jealous. Thanks again to Kurt!

Overall the experience was a nice way to get away from Punta Cana and see a bit of the Dominican Republic. The ride itself was pretty rough due to the unpaved roads and lack of suspension in the cars. But the guide was knowledgeable and helpful, and the places he took us was worth it.
