Last day update: Being here for a week, I can tell you to book this place if you can. If you don’t care for all inclusive resort I would highly recommend this hidden gem (literally). I walked the beach for miles on both sides of the apartment and there is nothing but resort after resort extremely crowded with beach chairs. Ask if your room will have a beach view, otherwise you will most likely not have one. The apartments are great and secluded from everything. They fixed everything we reported almost instantly. And a bonus (for Airbnb) is that they clean the place one day, so that was cool. This place is secluded from the large resorts. To the left there is a bar/restaurant called Soles Beach which is moderate in pricing (check my review for that one) they would happily open a tab for you. To the right more residential homes. This part of the beach was always practically empty. The best part is that the salesman here will shield you from other salesman and respect your decision. Don’t tell bad or forget to negotiate pricing. Ultimately, I changed my review to five stars because we were looking for a secluded area of Punta Cana and this is it. To the Florisel people: you need to learn to respect people’s reviews. Just because my name wasn’t in the Airbnb reservation doesn’t mean I don’t get to voice my impressions of this place. I am 100% sure you would’ve not complained if I had left a 5 star review with no comments. First impressions: I booked through Airbnb and I’m not saying it was misguided but it is not 100% clear that the apt will not have a beach view. The apts themselves are very nice. You have the electricity surcharge which is ridiculous but it’s the same everywhere here. The shower is not very strong and the bathroom smells odd most of the time, very weird. It’s worth the price.

My spouse and I stayed here for 3 weeks and were very impressed with everything. First, the staff are extraordinary. They were there for every question or little thing that we needed and always were checking on us to make sure we felt comfortable. The staff use (Hidden by Airbnb) to communicate with guest and they reply right away. Everyone that helped us also spoke English which was great for us. There is also a security guard that patrols the property every night so we felt very safe. The location is amazing, the beautiful white sand beach is steps away, featuring a fun beach restaurant serving music, drinks, and food right next door. When you stay at the property you have access to the beach chairs and beach towels which is also very convenient. The apartment itself is beautiful and clean and has everything you need to cook a decent meal. The neighborhood had a number of small shops for groceries as well as local eateries. The Jumbo (big Walmart style supermarket) was not within walking distance but our host happily called us a taxi to take us there and back whenever we requested it. There are a number of activities in this areas, such as parasailing, catamaran trips, surfing lesson, snorkeling etc. Most of these only take cash though and the ATM's don't work great if it's overcast unfortunately. While the electricity is not included, it was pretty cheap considering we love to sleep with the AC on full blast. On that note, the AC worked great! There is one in the living room and one in the bedroom so even when it was hot and humid outside we slept very well. We had a great stay and were very sad to leave. We highly recommend anyone visiting Punta Cana to stay here!

Very nice for the price! Direct beach access steps away. Quiet clean convenient and safe. staff are very friendly and helpful. Bernardo was especially kind and went out of his way to assist us with everything. Will definitely visit again.

It's an amazing place to stay in Punta Cana. The place is so clean, the rooms sizes are big and the most amazing thing is the beach is right there. The owner Romana is so kind and have a personalized welcoming.

Romana's apartment in Florisel is amazing. Just a few steps from the beach with your own chairs and tiki umbrellas. The apartments are beautiful, super safe and Romana is an amazing host. I will definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable and laid back. The apartment is like home, not the hustle and bustle of resorts. A must stay for unwinding yet plenty of fun for easy to access if you choose. Our hosts are first class in accommodating needs and information.

I had an amazing stay at Florisel Apartments. The owners are very nice and welcomed me to the apartments. My apartment was super clean and a great size. I loved sitting on my private terrace in the morning while having my coffee and checking emails. The Wi-Fi is strong and reliable for those who are on a working vacation as well as for WhatsApp etc. The property is secure with 24/7 security. Boli the night time security was awesome! We chatted for a while. They do a great job keeping the property clean and safe. The recently finished inground pool in the courtyard was a unexpected treat. The beach is just like 10 steps from the apartment and there was plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas for their guests. There is a beach bar/club next door which was great for dinner and dancing. Also on the beach is a excursion booking area where you can book anything from ATV rides, dolphins, boat trips, parasail, etc. Everything was within walking distance from the apartment and I felt safe walking around town exploring the cafes and shops. There is a 24/7 supermarket in the gated community with everything from beer to snacks. I was really impressed with the location and I must say I am really happy to have found this place. Its kind of a hidden gem. I am already planning my next trip!

Excellent for the price. On the beach and swimming in 30 seconds! Shade or sun and lounging. Good security. Close to a variety of eateries and a small convenience store. Couldn't ask for more on a moderate budget. We will stay here again.

We had an amazing time at Apartamentos Florisel! We stayed for 1 week and after travelling DomRep, we stayed for another 5 days there. The apartment was in good condition and it is right in front of the beach, where Bernardo brings you the deck chairs for free. The staff was very friendly and helped us with every inquiry we had. Lewis was so nice and organised even trips for us and gave us the best tips for the island! Luz and Nuria were very kind and happy and always answered our messages after some seconds. The air conditioner was working perfectly and we could also do laundry there. To eat in the area, i highly recommend the restaurant Citrus and Joy‘s (especially for breakfast). Thank you guys, i hope to see you again soon!

Beautiful place, private, calm and very relaxing

They're very accommodating and polite, i had 2 flight delays which put my arrival 8 hours later ( 430am instead of 8pm) and they made my check in stress free( mind you I made sure to keep communicating about the situation).... the Location is right off the beach, quite a few restaurants and businesses in walking distance.
