Ate and cooked the best meal I had in Sri Lanka here! Nishani is a great cook and teacher, we cooked 8 dishes in 1.5 hours. She was open to customising the menu to allow for my vegan diet Highly recommend this cooking class!

It was a great experience and Nishani is both a great cook and teacher. She was patient and an expert. We managed to make 8 dishes in 1.5 hours - which turned out to be delicious. This turned out to be a unique way to spend your evening relaxing.

This was the most authentic experience of cooking in another culture. Nishani welcomed us into her home, where we cooked in her kitchen and she showed us all the methods of cooking traditional Sri Lankan food. We helped cut, cook rice and squeeze coconut milk. She showed us what spices to use and when to add it to the dishes we were making. There was only me and my friend and we made so much food! It was truly a feast. Thanks to Nishani for a fantastic experience, I highly recommend her class.

Such an incredible experience. Less than 1 minute walk from our hotel D Canal. Nishani is a lovely lady who is warm and kind and takes it at your own pace. The food was the best we have had in Sri Lanka, and there was so much of it.

We enjoyed the cooking class a lot! All the ingredients and spices are super fresh and delicious. The spices are even homegrown. We learned a lot and Nishani is was really nice! A really good experience and 100% recommended :)

Me and my boyfriend spent a lovely evening cooking with Nishani. We prepared amazing local dishes that tasted better than anywhere else. Nishani is a very skilled cook and really knows her thing. Besides that, she is a beautiful woman and a beautiful soul, getting to know her just a little bit was a pleasure. A real business-woman! In our opinion it is essential to get to know how much effort it takes to prepare your favorite local meal. So Please, dont hesitate and participate in the class 🙏❤️

We were a group of three attending Nishani’s cooking class and had a fantastic time. She taught us how to make many vegetable and fish curries that were so flavoursome and delicious! We simply could not finish all the food. She was an excellent host and we had great fun, would 100% recommend!
