What a Gem! This place has to be unknown and undiscovered by many. I know good Mexican food and there are not many places that good here in the Hillsboro area even all of Portland is Mexican food challenged. Peppers is legit authentic fine made Mexican food! The quality is very high and the flavors are superb! You can tell the recipes are handed down a couple generations. I spoke to the owner and found they use fresh ingredients for their sauces hear that, means NO CAN sauces. I’ve tried a few dishes already and all around the food is really tasty. Seems a little pricey until you taste and realize it’s worth every penny! I highly recommend Peppers for dinner but Pablo makes the Best Cadillac Margaritas in the area a must have. Peppers is my wife’s favorite local Mexican restaurant now.

Best cinco de mayo Margarita and food I have had in a longtime. Peppers is a town favorite and anyone who comes to visit Hillsboro needs to check out Peppers! Also a great outdoor patio too!

Great place with large serving size. You will leave waddling your way out. Staff is friendly and food is delicious.

This place is so great, the food is amazing. I really liked the steak burrito and blended mango margarita. There are plenty of vegetarian options. The serving sizes are very large, and you get a good deal for the price. They were very friendly and kept us stocked up with chips and salsa the whole time. They were very attentive in case we needed anything. This is a great place to visit, and I would definitely recommend it!

I ordered Taco salad, rice and beans for takeout. The food was very good and the portion was pretty big too. I can’t wait to try other food from here!

Good food. Well maintained. Tampico gives you variety in one plate. Do try Tampico. They even sanitize their menu book. I was waiting to visit this place since people talked about this restaurant on facebook group. Ordered: Tampico (Chicken only), Camarones al Mojo de Ajo, Chicken tacos, Fish taco.

We were a huge group and the wait people were wonderful and so nice. The food is more than great. So flavorful. It's a small restaurant so if you have a large group, make a reservation. Their salsa is a 10!!

Glad to see them open again. Have to say the food is a Lil more geared towards white people now; but, I guess that's the majority of their customers now. The food presentation was great. All bright colors and smelled and tasted fresh. Thought the enchiladas could do without the nutmeg, that was weird and unpleasant. Everything else was delicious. The staff was quick, and friendly. And a decent price.

Street tacos are expensive, meat is not well marinated, no caramelized onions on side neither enough limes. This is a bar-cantina to drink margaritas not a mexican restaurant.

This place was recommended by an acquaintance, and it did not disappoint . Nice decor inside, clean and welcoming. We were greeted and seated quickly and any questions about the menu were clarified. My burrito was fantastic, portions were generous and staff was attentive. I'll definitely be going back again.

The food here in my experiences have always been absolutely delicious. The margaritas are also delicious, my girlfriend and I love the spicy mango margarita the most. I’ve never had a bad experience with the staff either. Also, they held a fundraiser for a WCSO Deputy, so they have definitely earned my respect and will continue to be a regular customer.

Peppers is such a gem. They are incredibly fast with amazing generous portions.

I had a Taco Salad. It was very good. The tortilla shell was crunchy and tasty. My wife had Pork Tomales with the red sauce. She's pretty picky, so it had to be good for her to enjoy it. Happy with our experience.

Favorite place to bring the family and get a killer spicy mango margarita!! We have been coming here for more than 14 years and are never disappointed. Pablo and the staff (like Aaron and Amy) are amazing and treat us like family.

Homemade salsa and chips are great. Steak Carna Asada dish is my favorite and will give you plenty to take home. Margaritas are another favorite. Staff is very friendly and enhances your wonderful experience.

My parents had all of their Christmas party and their own personal Christmas meal catered by Pepper’s and everything was excellent. All the hosted parties raves about the flavor of the food. There was always plenty for everyone. This will be a continuous, go to location for my family.

Delicious! Friendly staff. Great food. We didn't dine in, but this place has good energy and a nice atmosphere. Generous portion sizes with a variety of salsas included! We eat vegetarian, and we were pleasantly surprised by the variety of veggies in the burrito and enchiladas (broccoli, mushrooms). Delicious guacamole with a generous double portion of chips included. Very thoughtfully packaged for takeout using mostly responsible materials. We'll be back!

4 stars because this is not the best mexican food I have ever had, but it was good! The salsa is VERY good and the service was even better. Check these folks out and tip proper for excellent service.

So happy they are back open and they haven’t changed! We went on the first Friday they reopened, they were slammed! Line out the door and a huge party of 15 inside. They allowed us to call in and get on the wait list, once seated, service was fast and pleasant. Their fantastic & huge margaritas came out quick with the food shortly behind it. The shredded beef flauntas are amazing and salsas are great too! Best Mexican food in Hillsboro!

They’re back and still delicious!!! It’s clean and beautiful in here as well. The food is hot and fresh! The drinks are cold and refreshing. My family loves everything about this establishment. We can’t wait to see you guys again!
