I will preface this by saying the classes and instructors are great and I would give a 5 star rating if those were the only factors. Front desk team is friendly enough and have helped me multiple times when Iā€™ve pushed myself too far during a class. That being said, they are very unwilling to make exceptions to rules regardless of circumstances and the store manager says they donā€™t have the authority to waive fees for any reason no matter how legitimate. Never heard of a store manager having no say or at least SOME influence on a decision like that. For example, after one of my classes I headed over to speak with the front desk where I was told I was charged a $20 fee for not using the iPad to check in to the class I just walked out of. She told me she couldnā€™t remove the fee even though she just watched me walk out of the class and knew I was there..outrageous. Cancellation on a monthly membership is very near impossible if the reason youā€™re cancelling is financial. You must give 30 days notice, you canā€™t cancel online or over the phone, and your last payment is due at the moment of cancellation no matter how far away the payment date is. Sometimes people donā€™t know 30 days out that they will experience something out of their control that will put them in a position in which they canā€™t make their next payment. It sucks that they donā€™t consider this and show grace where itā€™s appropriate. If youā€™re considering cyclebar, I would recommend staying FAR away from a membership agreement. Stick to drop in rides. Or the ride packages if they donā€™t require a contractā€”havenā€™t looked into this yet. The contract is just way too serious for something like a cycling class.

I wish there was 0 star. This is not for the instructors but for the manager Ali, who has provided extremely poor customer service. Due to health reasons, I tried to cancel my membership. But when I called and spoke to the manager, she was very inconsiderate given my health situation and claimed that I needed to give a 30 day notice. This was after I was already charged for a month without using any of the services and notifying, and handled in a signed letter for membership termination by my husband on behalf of me. I explained my health situation but received zero empathy. In addition to that I got charged for another month and got notified that I am overdue with amount higher than my monthly membership fee. I am very frustrated and feel helpless. I have been to many other places but never had this terrible service who doesnā€™t even consider a genuine health reason. Wish I could reach out to the owner. I am furious and will never return for the classes there despite enjoying classes with instructors. Managerā€™s attitude to loyal customers is beyond terrible.

I just cancelled my membership! Cyclebar Tanasbourne is the most unprofessional studio I have ever been to! They give preference to certain members and it's very unfair!! They didn't let me and my sister join the class when we were only 5 minutes late but they DO let other people back as 10 minutes late with no issues! In addition, the instructors have their own clicks in every class and they see you as an outsider if you are new. They won't even greet/acknowledge you unless you're part of their click! The manager Ali is very rude and unprofessional. She has zero customer service skills! She pressures you to sign up and will not stop spam texting you until you agree to sign up! I voiced my concerns to her and she the front desk lady dismissed them! Once you mention you want to cancel they will treat you even worse! If you want a good spinning class and great customer care do not join cycle bar! Edit: I forgot to mention that they charged $21 for no showing to a class AFTER I HAD CALLED that I wasnā€™t going to make it due to health issues. I have yet to receive my refund.

Writing this review while having 2 wishes, I read reviews before stepping into this place and that there was a zero stars option. Hate giving this scam business a star they don't deserve. I am definitely getting a claim submitted to the BBB and Washington County for scamming people with text messages and calls every day with deals that are nothing but traps to suck more money out of their pockets without their consent!! This is the most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with in my entire life, and I won't let this pass by without legal action. The managers are with zero authority and zero training on customer service. This place should not stay in business within our community.

! This is just another one of the gyms that charge your credit card after you cancel. I cancelled in person with the GM. Giving the required full 30 day notice. I was charged twice past the cancellation time. one month honest mistake - two i donā€™t understand. Supposedly my cancellation didnā€™t save to my profile. If that was the case when I called about the first charge why couldnā€™t someone tell. I was charge twice because of an admin issue. Thank goodness I had the cheapest membership but I wasnā€™t going to let them keep my money with out my consent. I have reported one charge to my credit card company. Funny the next day their system is already calling and emailing for a ā€œpast dueā€ amount. To bad they couldnā€™t get a resolution for me that fast. Poor representation of cyclebar and xponential fitness. What a shame if a franchise location. Scamming people out of their hard earned money. Listen to me and the other reviews if you must go here make sure you record and take photos of everything. I am not the first person to experience this.

This place is a SCAM. Reporting to the BBB. Do yourself a favor and sign up anywhere else. Iā€™m all good for if you break rules you pay a fee, but when you prove you didnā€™t break any, there are infinite other magical fees that you werenā€™t told about before that now exist. Front desk people/ manager are beyond incompetent. I have never ONCE been asked to check in for a ride. Never told that was part of the rules. Have been 7 times. On the 8th ride I got told I was going to have to pay a $20 fee because I didnā€™t ā€œcheck in to my ride.ā€ Instructors are good, but this place just isnā€™t worth the hassle.

Honestly my experience was great until after my 3 month commitment was up and I wanted to cancel my membership. They randomly threw a ā€œ30 day noticeā€ in my face to get more money out of me.

I started cycling a few months ago and the staff has been so communicative, friendly, and helpful. Their customer service is amazing and from personal experience I can tell you that Cycle Bar Tanasbourne truly cares about their riders. The only ā€œcomplicationā€ is when I got my free 3 rides they, usually the manager would call me everyday asking when I wanted to come in next. Also, when I finished my free trail I felt VERY pressured by the gal and it felt like she almost didnā€™t wanna take no for an answer. Knowing myself Iā€™m okay with that but for other customers that can be seen as aggressive and unprofessional. I went in today and Lexi was so kind, helpful, and understanding.

Love this place so much! Great instructors, clean studio, crazy amounts of positive energy. Excellent community if you want it; excellent do-your-workout-and-get-out situation if not. All of the instructors I've had are fantastic, and each one has their own thing; there's someone for everyone. Even on my worst days when I have no energy and no time for it, I leave the studio soooo energized and grateful -- and so happy that I decided to show up. You can feel the energy of the people around you, which is awesome -- especially after being isolated for so long! -- but no one is looking around or being looked at (except the instructor). So you can feel free to get ugly like I do. (Most of the time lights are off anyway. And just FYI, there are ALL types of people and bodies and fitness levels there.) They offer free trial rides, so no risk. Or if you're a bit nervous about new situations like I am, first check them out on Instagram to feel the vibe -- you'll know it's one that you need in your life. No, I don't work for them.

By FAR the best new client experience Iā€™ve ever had! I was so impressed from the way they took care of every aspect of my time at the studio, from the friendly guided tour to writing a welcome note on my locker to the custom set up for my bike - exceptional customer service plus a great workout. 5 stars!!

Had my first class here and it was wonderful! I was super nervous as I wasn't sure what to expect and it's been a long time since I've worked out at all. My friend recommended me so I received 3 free classes. I didn't get to the 2nd too before already signing up. Everyone was so kind, the instructor was amazing and I didn't feel pressured to go any further than my own pace. Can't wait to get back into a workout routine with this place. Thank you!!

Never thought Iā€™d be a group exerciser until CycleBar. Itā€™s a great workout in an empowering environment. Iā€™m hooked.
