This hospitalā€™s ER is a complete and absolute disgrace. My mother came in with chest pain. Sheā€™s a cardiac patient of this hospital. Took 2 hours before they did an EKG then stuffed her in a dirty room with improperly discarded gloves all over the room. Now itā€™s 6pm 4 hours later and they havenā€™t called her for her imaging. The little nurse assigned to her, Genesis, just wants to give her aspirin. Her board is a previous patientā€™s. When I asked for an update all she said was that theyā€™re understaffed. If youā€™re having a serious emergency DO NOT COME HERE.

I would never let a family member or friend seek medical attention here. The front building may be new and inviting, but the standards of care are literally terrifying. The ER is absolutely disgusting. No one cleans between patients. You're more likely to die of a hospital acquired infection or medical mistake here than you are to be treated for your original complaint. The level of incompetence is unprecedented. The only nurses who stay here are the ones that NEED to get experience before they can be considered at a reputable facility, so you're pretty much at the mercy of young inexperienced staff who are just there to get a paycheck. The ICU is even worse. 9/10 patients are there because the surgeons couldn't properly perform what otherwise would be considered a simple procedure. I spoke to many family members there who shared my concerns and we are collectively awaiting our HCAHPS surveys. I have seen unspeakable things at this facility. If you must be here please insist on having an advocate stay at your bedside 24/7. Your life may be dependent on it.

Had to get emergency surgery here and was there for 4 days, they took very good care of me and my room was comfortable and clean. I am terrified of hospitals so I'm very happy to have had so many great nurses and doctors looking after me.

I was a little nervous about coming due to the reviews, but I had to choose quickly. My baby girl was sick with a high fever; I had to take her into the children's section and had such a great experience. We ended being admitted, and the nurses have been like family, super sweet on top of her vitals, cleanliness was up to par they have been very concerned. If we were hungry, thirsty, cold gave us privacy during the night time, and when they did have to come in, they came in quietly and respectfully thank you so much. They provided my daughter with a tablet and toys :)

Very poor patient care within this facility. The nurses are overworked and overwhelmed. Some have literally stated ā€œI donā€™t have time for thisā€. My loved one is being treated downright horrible (she would know the standards of care as someone who works at the VA). Room is disgusting. Overnight aide spent her time in the room on her phone (Iā€™m sure not very hippa compliant) and never came back. I would not bring any loved ones here if possible (this isnā€™t my first poor experience here).

I cannot speak highly enough of my experiences at AdventHealth. Both during my own admission and that of my wife, the level of care and attention we received was consistently outstanding. The staff's genuine concern and friendly demeanor truly made us feel valued and supported. Their effort to understand not just our medical needs, but also our individual situations, was remarkable. The team at AdventHealth goes above and beyond, demonstrating impressive knowledge and a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure patient comfort and well-being. In my opinion, they surpass other hospitals like Brandon or Tampa General. If given the choice, AdventHealth would always be my hospital of preference. Their exceptional care and dedication make them stand out as the top choice for medical needs. Five stars without a doubt!

I went there with kidney stones three mornings in a row. I got admitted the third day first two days in the emergency room. The experiences were good. They were very nice took care me. The only problem was they just started a brand new computer system so everything took twice as long I was patient. I dealt with it the third day I got admitted. After leaving the ER I went to a waiting room and again everybody is nice very sweet. They told you exactly what you wanted to hear and then they forgot about you. I had a headache while I was getting my IV. It took me over 2 hours to get aspirin I asked every half hour. I actually had to scream at somebody and they just kept making excuses that we have a new computer system. What I needed from them was to go above and beyond and take care of the situation. They didn't know how to handle it so they just forgot about it. That was my experience from that point to when I got admitted into my room to when I left you would ask for something. They would be sweet as pie tell you okay. I'll see what I can do about that and then you never seen that person again. I would never go back there. I understand it was a new system put into place but you have to take care of your patience. You have to figure out how to solve the problem and nobody did. They were just walk away and forget about you until the next person came in. You would explain to them same situation they would tell you the same thing and then they would forget about you

I was there for 6 hours. Luckily nothing life threatening but was still having SOB and difficulties breathing. Cleanliness was no up to part. The triage room had trash from their last patient on the table and the floors. I sanitized everything myself prior and after. The nurse did My IV and blood got on the arm of the chair and he ignored it. Overall Staff was pleasant and the doctor was apologetic. Seems like they are short of staff not certain though.

I usually don't take the time to do reviews but I went here because it is an advent hospital and I have a medical condition that I see an advent dr for. So I thought it would be best to go here so she could easily see results. Wrong decision. I sat screaming and crying in the waiting room for well over 5 hours. Throwing up. With a fever that continued to get worse I ended up taking my own meds in the waiting room. I asked a nurse she told me they would say no but with how high my fever was she personally would take her own meds. I let them know my fever was still getting worse. Nothing was done. I feel like triage could have addressed the fever at least knowing I would be sitting there so long since that triage nurse didn't think it was important. I was then told I have Covid to go quarantine when the Covid test wasn't even back yet, and no one ever called to tell me today. I was only tested for Covid nothing else. I will have to go somewhere else because I still have a sore throat and earache that wasn't even looked at at all. No scans or anything on my stomach when my chief complaint was the stomach pain. I have a history of cyst and think they could have at least done a sonogram or something. There is no sanitation happening AT ALL! They weren't wiping any chairs down or anything. There was no distance between patients. And the rude triage guy was a joke. He told me eventually I MIGHT get to see a provider.. very rude and uncaring. Most of The nurses were nice and doing their best though. But due to short staff they are just focused on trying to get people out. Not actual patient care. I know everywhere is battling short staff but I think the way they are handling things definitely needs to be evaluated by upper management.

If I could give zero stars I would. Today I visited this hospital and waited 3 hours to be brought back and was taken to a room that was absolutely disgusting. The room looked like it has not been cleaned in weeks and smelled horrible. The bathroom for the area we were placed in was so disgusting as well. When we told the nurse that it smelled horrible he claimed that the room was cleaned but he would send someone in to clean it, however looking across at the floors of the other rooms they were all as equally dirty. Would not recommend to bring anyone here as you would probably catch something worse from this unsanitary place.

I am extremely impressed with my experience at Advent Health. I was very nervous for my tonsillectomy surgery, but I was immediately put at ease when I walked into such a beautiful, clean building directed by such friendly, professional staff. I was blown away by how organized the check-in process was and I couldnā€™t get over how pristine the actual hospital was. It looked more like a museum. The care I received once I was in pre-op, surgery, and post-op was fantastic. I truly felt that everyone had my best interest at heart. The facilities were state-of-the-art and were run by highly qualified people. I would highly recommend Advent Health, particularly the Taneja Center for Surgery.

I was admitted through the ER after a 14hr wait. I've been admitted a few times for the same chronic condition that needs treatment when it gets acute. Once the proper Drs were notified, my treatment plan went well. I felt like a person vs a number, and the nurses were good too. They could use a little practice starting IVs when a patient has veins that roll.

When my daughter was born here on 01/11/2022 we truly had the most amazing experience from start to finish. My wife and I will never forget how well they took care of us and our newborn. We just left the emergency room with a minor situation and again, great experience from beginning to end. The nurses, doctors and staff are top notch. Great hospital, highly recommend for labor and delivery and pediatric emergency.

The worst medical experience Iā€™ve ever had. If you need the ER, youā€™d be better off not even going. The triage nurses are nasty; heartless and arenā€™t too well versed in what to do. Thank God I had doctors in Los Angeles who would call me and tell me what they should be doing. But overall, your plan to get help is limited. Unclean floors, unclean bathrooms, no real separation from people who had Covid or who are unvaccinatedā€¦ the list goes on. I had high hopes but those were shattered once they take you into triage. Better yet, if you canā€™t walk for any reason, there are no wheel chairs. So you better be able to hobble yourself over to the dirty chair they put you in. After all that, surgery was fine. But communication leading up to surgery was abysmal. You have to click the call button every 30 min to ask a question. No nurse will check on you, give you a blanket (thank God I brought my own) or answer questions. But if you donā€™t buzz the button, theyā€™ll forget about you for hours. All and all, drive yourself out of state to get help. I honestly wished I had flown to Beaumont to get emergency help had I know the issue I was having. This is LOW rate health care.

Dirty rooms, theyā€™re also prejudiced here, I would not recommend this hospital if you can make it to St Joseph I would go. Iā€™ve barely been helped at all and itā€™s sad sent back to waiting room for result still with a pain level of I would say 7/8 honest I finding all the numbers I can find and will be reporting my experience. *This is what the room look like when I got put in there open packages and things left laying around. Update after just reading my result to me in a DC room while Iā€™m in pain I was giving hydrocodone RX which I wonā€™t be even filling because that stuff is terrible on the body and last time I took that stuff my kidneys got bad and had to be admitted so writing me scrip for that was pointless, I donā€™t like taking pills I feel like there just masking the issue. I am not sure why I wasnā€™t treated for the pain, I honestly feel like I left that hospital the same way I went in. Was treated by Stefanie Renee Tucker APRN in ER. I hate to say itā€™s a race thing but statistically itā€™s been shown and Iā€™ve only gone to this hospital for a few times because I really dislike this hospital but it was the closest to my job I had no choice I was in to much pain. I donā€™t want to be given hard drugs to take at home that is not actually helping the problem. They send people in hospital gowns with iv in they arm to the waiting room, and just guess who those people are black woman. Honestly Iā€™m going to be reporting this to someone who can take action maybe a News company maybe they can do a secret patient type thing because Iā€™m almost positive itā€™s a race prejudice thing going on. Itā€™s sad in 2024 we still deal with it but itā€™s the sad reality

This hospital is beyond a disgrace the nurse staff in er are extremely rude and have no empathy or compassion for patients my sister was taken out of her room and placed in hallway 2 when I asked when she would be taken to her room on the 6th floor that she was being admitted into her nurse stated that she had n idea she didn't try to follow up or anything she acted as if my sister was not important and continued to sit at her station. I would not recommend anyone use Advent hospital Tampa or any other advent healthcare practices or hospitals how heartless to just throw someone in a hallway and leave them what nurse has the heart to see their patient like this.

Had a test done that required anesthesia at Advent my first nurse Lindsey was so wonderful and caring. I was very nervous and she did her best to reassure me and make me more comfortable. After the procedure I had a nurse named Michelle. Another bright light. So sweet and attentive. Both of these ladies are a feather in advents cap! Dr Gonsalvo was great after explaining what I need to do to try to get better, he didn't make me feel rushed and made me feel like he actually cared about my well being. Overall it was a great experience because of the people.

I HAD A BRAIN HEMMORAGHE! This hospital collected from my insurance company over $160,000 thousand dollars and because I missed 2 payments they sent a account of $133 dollars to collections. The woman I just spoke with me had no remorse whats so ever and was ARROGANT! Also while in ICU the alarm sounded which I did not know what it meant! Everyone was alarmed and going towards a particular room IN A HURRY. I saw this through the window in my ICU room. After the alarm when silent after around 35 minutes I saw people comming back and some people were laughing! I could not understand why some people were laughing. I saw my nurse on attendance and someone in green scrubs and white coat hurrying through the hallway pushing a bed. I asked the nurse which was attending me why was there a alarm. He said he did not hear a ALARM, he was on another floor! So he LIED to my face, when it came time to draw blood he basically could not draw blood even with a vain ultra sound machine! They sent someone else ,a very nice nurse and she drew blood. I asked if someone had died and she said YES!!! I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE WHERE LAUGHING after someone dying!!!! The nurse that night kept on putting the urinal next to the food on the table not even washing or rinsing the urinal just pee right next to the food and water. Not fixing the best since I had requested for a bed remote for 3 DAYS also! NOT CLEANING THE ROOM AFTER I HAD REQUESTED ALSO, and after all this experience and them getting over $160,000 they send to collections a $133 dollar bill to collections WOW! MY ANXIETY was HIGH yesterday after that collections bill and seeing that after all this experience there was no mercy for a mere 133 dollars.

This was my second delivery at this hospital and it was an even better experience than before. I was very blessed to have the same doctor for delivery and the same nurses in the woman and baby unit. Courtney and Kaitlin took really great care of me and my baby. They were very attentive and respectful. The techs Taylor and Lily were great also. My delivery nurse, Sammy, was amazing. It was her first shift on the floor but you could tell she was very experienced. She was diligent in everything she did and very supportive. She let me do skin to skin as long as I wanted and squeeze her arm during contractions getting my epidural. I noticed the hospital changed their food ordering procedures and now the staff takes your next order in person when they drop off the current meal. This is such an improvement compared to calling, the ringing of the phone really stressed me out before. Both of my rooms were clean and comfortable.

I am alive, and well, because of the expertise and professionalism of the staff at Advent Health. My treatment and care was priority over payment and they assisted me in ways to ensure that. Continued care beyond discharge, has greatly increased my chance of survival. I thank God for them all. I was very fortunate to be in their care.

Horrible experience! My son was having immense pain in his ear along with swelling that concerned us. He was having sleepless nights and could not sit or lay properly. We decided to bring him to his primary care, and immediately after he was seen, he instructed us to take our son to the ER because he believed my son had mastoiditis and wanted us to get him a cat scan. When we arrived at Advent Health, I let them know of my sons primary care instructions. They saw my son and weā€™re prepping him for the cat scan, but due to the type of cat scan, it required him to have an IV. My son was very nervous about the IV and started to cry and kick. He is an 8 year old male. They seemed like they didnā€™t want to deal with him, refused to attempt to restrain him, and made several remarks about other kids needing to be treated, I canā€™t put my nurses in danger for your son, etc. I continued to explain to the nurse that the doctor requested this cat scan and they needed to assist me with restraining him. They refused and gave an excuse that they donā€™t want to traumatize him. I wound up going yo St. Josephā€™s and explained my sons situation as well as the incident that took place at Advent Health. They laughed in shock when they we told them they refused to treat my son and explained proper protocol on children. She mentioned children do not have a say and health facilities need to work with the children by calming and comforting them. St. Josephā€™s did exactly that, and my son without hesitation, fighting, kicking, and screaming took the IV. I donā€™t recommend anyone be treated at Advent!

My experience here was absolutely wonderful. I was admitted 4/14/22 & my son was born 4/15/22. All the staff I encountered was very professional and friendly, two of the nurses Jen and Lisa especially. Those ladies were a God send and made my stay with my newborn very pleasant and even entertained my 3 yr old while she visited me. I was nervous due to the reviews and I had never been to any of the hospitals since moving here but I will definitely come again if I'm in need of medical care.

We have had to take our toddler to Advent Health on three occasions. The Dr. In the Pediatric Ward is absolutely amazing. (his name is very long and Im not even sure how to spell it.) He is so knowledgeable, so patient, and incredibly kind. The pediatric ward is clean, private feeling, and the wait has never been very long. THANK YOU ADVENT HEALTH!

First time ever being admitted to a hospital and having surgery. The ER team quickly took me back into triage. The hospital was clean overall, the rooms in the new section were fantastic. Great views, spacious and I appreciated having a private room to stay in. Had multiple nurses and techs who were wonderful. There were a couple that weren't the best and I wasn't too happy with, but that's to be expected at any hospital in my opinion. If I had to be in the hospital again, I'd have no problems with coming back to Advent Tampa.

Everyone I encountered On the staff was excellent they all did above and beyond. The hospital was Beautiful and Well equipped. Only complaint I have is I can't understand how when you're scheduled To stay overnight from your surgery you have to wait in recovery for 9 hours until your room is ready. My wife Stayed in the waiting room until 8 PM And never got to see me before heading home.

I am currently a patient at Advent Health in Tampa. I am in the intensive Therapy unit and am very pleased with my therapy, nursing and medical care. My family is on the East coast of Florida, but I feel I made the right decision to stay here. I donā€™t know what my final outcome will be, but I do believe everyone is working in my best interest to facilitate my recovery. Iā€™m started out on the 3rd floor Main and also felt I had good care there. I have faith and hope that my doctors have me on the right plan. I would recommend this hospital. Thank you all for the love, attention and professional and capable care I am receiving. Would prefer a private room and that would have been 5 stars, but most important is the care I am receiving.

It took forever to get accepted into the ER and even then it took forever to get anyone to see me once I was inside. The whole time I felt terrible and I wasn't even allowed to get water. The doctor that attended to me was really nice and reassuring, but no one else was and the whole time I had regretted going. I would rather drive farther for a better hospital than go here.

Just returned home after fevers led us to visit the AdventHealth Tampa Pediatric ER. We were immediately registered and taken back to a room. RNs Vicky and Ariel were wonderful. They both showed kindness and patience when my daughter asked to ā€œcount to 10ā€ at least five different times and then started counting backwards to avoid a swab for strep. Dr. Rosa was amazing-she saw us right away and ordered exactly what was necessary to diagnose my daughter. She spent an ample amount of time with us explaining her thought process and professional opinions which made me feel very comfortable with her plan of care. She ordered testing that resulted in a diagnosis for my daughter, ordered targeted antibiotics and we were sent home after a few short hours. My daughter is already improving. An added bonus is that the rooms have a projector and different color lighting options which is a great distraction. Thanks to a great team for providing us with excellent care and meaningful attention.

I had my gallbladder removed. The service was great. The only thing that I did not like was I was not informed before the day of the surgery was about the payment. Day of the surgery, I was asking for the payment after the insurance. Glad that I was able to pay because surgery would not have been possible that day.

My 4 year old daughter had a surgery to put in ear tubes. The nurses and doctors here were absolutely incredible with my little girl. They went above and beyond to make sure she felt comfortable and safe. They also took her teddy along for the ride and gave him ear tubes as well. He got a bandage on his arm and on his ears, the same as my daughter. It was an amazing experience and highly recommend this hospital.

Admittance and registration was so badly disorganized to the point they nearly got my procedure canceled. They never even informed endoscopy of my arrival. I just sat downstairs at the "registration" section. If the nurse hadn't called me directly and come to get me, I'd have sat there for hours and not been seen at all - my critical cancer biopsy would have been delayed. The nurse told me as much. But the absolute worst (ever) was the experience I had with the endoscopy nurse admitting staff once they called and had me go to their rooms. One in particular was sarcastic, combative even, disrespectful and highly impatient. I had the distinct impression she regarded me as an idiot worthy of her unkindness and callous ire. Don't they realize their incoming patients are already likely to be anxious and on-edge, and that they're the first impression the patients have of their procedure? I literally sat there for the next hour seething and unnecessarily more anxious than when I arrived Other than that, the anesthesiologist and endoscopic doctors actually performing the procedure were outstanding. I was very happy with them - both their bedside manner, their communications before and after and the procedure performed. Five stars, there. Still, my first two hours there were so dismally bad I hope I never have to go back.

I had to get an EKG for preoperative surgery, and all the urgent care centers told me they couldn't do it for me, so I was referred to Advent. They made it so easy to find, get me checked in, and got it done quickly. I didn't even have a chance to get on my phone before they called me back it was so quick. Wonderful staff as well, super patient and explained everything very well. I will definitely be back if I need anything else done medically.

Highly recommend. On both visits everyone couldnā€™t have been kinder. Heather (Ultrasound tech) was the best on my first visit. Very sweet. She is literally the reason I came back to this specific location (Kay Meyer). Tammy - very kind and patient Nora - beyond helpful with payment process, etc Annie - was the literal sweetest and above and beyond helpful Olga (ultrasound tech) very kind. Dr. Burke was informative and kind.

All of the staff here were super friendly and knowledgeable and attentive to my needs. They came right away when I called and took great care of me and my newborn baby. The labor unit was particularly responsive to my needs and quick to respond to changes in condition. We are very grateful for the care we received here. The nurse Caitlyn in labor and delivery was particularly amazing and she spent a lot of time with my family making sure our baby was healthy.

I took my son here last night and he received excellent care. His nurses were Tiffany who put the Iv in , Shawn RN , and the Doctor name is Bill. They were all awesome! Very friendly, professional, caring, and fast. Doctor Bill was able to find out the problem quickly and was patient and answered all the questions we had. Our experience here was awesome. I feel they all should be recognized for providing great care.

I appreciate the service. Everyone was great except the nurse who put the IV in my hand. She jabbed both hands without warning. Itā€™s been over a week and my right hand is still super sore. And feels like my vein is bulging. (Younger nurse). Not sure if needle was too big but it was the worse pain after. She wasnā€™t able to draw back but we left it since it could be used for IV. She was okay. But that experience has made my week so tough because I canā€™t use my hand full function at work or with my toddler. Had she prepared me for the poke I would have shared Iā€™m a hard stick like I did with the second nurse who took my blood. She was patient and did her best to help me. (Older nurse)

The nursing staff and other ancillary positions were polite, concern, knowledgeable, and encouraging. The The nursing staff and other ancillary positions were polite, concern, knowledgeable, and encouraging. The reason hits four stars come out reason itā€™s four stars instead of five is due to the unappealing and basically tasteless. Food that was served. I enjoyed seeing for example, salmon coming for dinner what was a beautiful piece of salmon was over cooked so dry you could hardly swallow. The dietary staff that serve the food were just wonderful for my host day no matter what day I ordered salmon it was the same, but one gets tired of sandwiches.

We had an amazing experience with the RN Loretta on C6 over the last two days! My brother is an autistic adult, and she was EXTREMELY kind, accommodating, and patient with him during his first hospitalization. She was friendly, personable, respectful of his sensory needs, and she really took her time to explain things to him. Thank you for everything you do Loretta! We had an amazing first experience at an Advent hospital because of you. We can not thank you enough!

I absolutely love the new facility. Itā€™s beautiful. The art work is gorgeous. Regina, who registered me was so precious. She was comforting and helpful. She had such a great attitude. The woman that did my procedure was kind and explained everything she was doing. That was comforting.

The best place to take your child. The staff is so gentle and sweet to the children. They try and do anything to make your child feel comfortable and safe. I absolutely love it. I'm daughter is terrified of doctors. But when she came here she didn't even freak out once they kept her calm the entire time. Love love it. I was there 9/9/22 with miss lily

My experience at Advent Health was as comfortable as can possibly be. Thanks to the nurses, and all the staff that works on both shifts. No other hospital has taken care of me as great as Advent Hospital. Thanks to respiratory, and all nursing staff, and all techs. Thank you once again for an uplifting stay at your facility. Yours truly German Uruena Munoz. PS. Don't let me forget about the Magnificent doctors as well. You are all great.

For the most part it was great, but some of the nurses are lazy, and donā€™t even attempt to care for patients properly. I went all day until 3pm before I was given water, and I told them I did not have breakfast or lunch and instead of fixing the problem they look at each other like I thought you took care of him so no breakfast or lunch. My doctors was great and Nurse Ms Mary and another nurse. Thanks a lot

I've been to this location before and the previous times that I had to come here to be treated we're great but this time it wasn't so great at all. It was without a doubt the worst service I have ever received here. The previous night I came here around 01:00am on an early Saturday morning and I was experiencing severe pain in my stomach and waist area and was also feeling it extending into my back and I wasn't able to use the restroom or relieve any bodily functions and the pain was just intensifying. The nursing staff present were absolutely no help at all and acted like it was no big deal and some of them were sarcastically rude especially the one in Triage 02 located near the security room and waiting room area, told me that I should've took some laxatives before coming here and I told him that I didn't have any while at home, now I did regurgitate vomit in the sink, garbage can and floor but wasn't getting enough of it out. I was in absolute misery and the staff were in no hurry or assistance to help me in my time of need. I have never experienced anything quite like this before and hopefully it never happens again. I was there for two hours and all they did was draw blood from me in both my arms and send me back out into the waiting room for more waiting and the hospital didn't look or appear to be busy in anyway whatsoever despite COVID 19. I was out there in the waiting room for another hour before I decided to leave, pacing back and forth in there from outside to the waiting room and then into the bathroom trying desperately to relieve what was in my body and was having hard time doing it I couldn't even pee as well not to mention with an IV stuck in my arm that eventually fell out with the front desk nurse patching it back up. That's pathetic the way I was treated there I eventually left and sooner or later after stopping to a nearby walgreens and buying a ton of laxatives and going home I took some and still no use I eventually started vomiting and then around 06:00am I went to another hospital and by then it was over. I am okay now and doing better, my body is still a little sore after yesterday night but I am doing better now and I am able to use the restroom again. But the service here was a joke and in the future if I ever need hospital services again it most certainly won't be from this hospital anymore. Thank God my mother who was a critically ill patient suffering from Kidney Failure, Diabetes and a long list of other life threatening diseases was not a patient here, St. Joseph's Hospital is where she got all of her surgeries, blood work and services done there and she was a frequent patient there but they took good care of her. The negative reviews and bad reputation of this hospital clearly shows and reflects the true nature of this hospital. I don't recommend this place at all.

My little one was not feeling well and I needed to take her to the ER (Since every urgent care and MD office never wants to see patients anymore should you cough once). Looking around for a children's ED online, I chose AdventHealth Tampa. I was greeted by a very friendly receptionist and nursing staff. The outside campus and lobby were quite clean. We were taken back to a very child friendly exam room. After a few minutes of waiting, the provider came in to ask a few questions and explained everything that was going to happen. Skipping to the end... Though thankfully un-eventful, the staff performed to the max. I will be back for any of my children's emergent needs.

A little confusion with communication in the days prior to procedure but the facility is welcoming. Not a long wait at all. All staff treated me with kindness and respect. Doctors and Nurses were wonderful. Highly recommend!

Great birthing experience overall, from pre-op through the surgery process, to post-op and recovery care. The nurses were all fantastic and made sure we (husband, baby, and I) were well taken care of. I was seen by a doctor from my OBGYN practice every morning of my stay and felt as though my concerns and worries were taken seriously. I would recommend this hospital to friends and family looking for a birthing hospital.

Having my first child at Advent Health was an amazing experience. Their nurses were very hands on, caring and helpful. There wasnā€™t a day I didnā€™t feel supported by what I needed as well as any questions I had. My baby was very well taken care of and that makes me a happy mama!

The night time nurses should be more caring and sympathetic. The one I had seems like I was bothering her. When I needed one it took a long time for her to come to my room. The doctor was very nice and helpful. The CNA should have better bedside manner..

I had such a wonderful experience here when I delivered my first baby a few days ago! The labor and delivery unit was clean and equipped with all the necessary help and tools for a successful procedure. The nurses and anesthesiologists were phenomenal. They tended to all my needs with wonderful bedside manner for the most part. I have to shout out nurses Taylor and Skylar for their great support and help through it all. The transition into the mommy and baby area was so awesome. The nurses truly care for the moms and babies! I felt like I was being treated like royalty! A special thanks to Maria, Alicia and Jen! I will certainly be back again!

I had outpatient surgery for my back. Dr. Cronen and his team were excellent. I had a problem with anesthesia at another hospital, so they adjusted the medication and I woke up quickly and alert in recovery. They kept my husband informed throughout surgery and recovery. You could feel the team loved their profession and I felt I was in caring hands throughout the process.Thank you for your professionalism and skill.

The care and compassion received was unmatched, this is not normally something I could ever say about Advent because they are typically terrible but this time was different. My special needs son had a severe grand mal seizure and ended up admitted. Everyone from ER Staff to the Hospital Staff was fantastic. Dr.Pryor and her nurses were incredible with the care provided and for the first time in my life we had a team behind us advocating for our son. I can't thank them enough and feel so blessed that they were there during my son's admission.

My experience at Advent Health was positive. Dr's & staff were very caring & explained things as they occurred. My health improved & I was discharged feeling much better than when I was admitted. Timing is always an issue but sometimes things are unavailable when you need them. I will follow up with my regular doctors now. Thank you to everyone that was so good to me when I felt my worse.

What an amazing experience!! Not only was I treated with kindness and compassion, but also given the curtesy of being timely and incredibly proficient. I was able to complete my entire appointment for my yearly mammogram within 45min. Thank you for the exceptional service.

Very surprised at low ratings. 3rd visit with 93 yr old mother. All visits started in ER. She was assessed and treated faster than she was at another hospital that was our favorite. Now it is this one. Staff in all areas have been phenomenal. Excellent communication.

Every staff member I came in contact with was AMAZING! One nurse (overnight) I felt went above and beyond! Her name is Felicia. Felicia explained everything to me step by step she was doing, she even told me my schedule as to when bloodwork would have to be done.Your facility is blessed to have them all. Felicia is a blessingā¤ļø. Please give them all the biggest THANK YOU from me. I couldn't have done it without them.

This is my second time visiting this hospital first I went to the emergency room and I was left out in the waiting room in my condition together with other people that had other diseases which I thought it wasn't very nice I left because after 3 hours they never took care of me Yesterday I had to come into the ambulance because I obtained covid and was having breathing problems and pain I was pleased with the ambulance help and when I arrived to the emergency room they immediately started to run testings and labs and the doctor was understanding compassionate. In the ER 2 of 3 nurses were nice but one didn't care when I called about my needs. After wait 6 hours get a room they put me I the worse room. The ac didn't work. The shower head was tilted and there were other people's hair in the shower. I don't know if they put me there cause I have covid and they think I deserve the worse. I have private insurance to pay my expenses.

I am extremely impressed with the surgical center of this hospital. My family has had a couple procedures in the last five months, the surgical team in pre-op and post-op has been great. I am grateful to say that our experience has not been traumatizing. Unlike other hospitals in Tampa, which makes you feel like their goal is to traumatize their patients. I appreciate the staff and this hospital immensely.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Nursing staff in the pediatrics wing went above and beyond to make my son feel like a rock star. Couldnā€™t say enough about how great the staff was from the gift they gave him to having a pediatric surgeon come visit him to discuss the occupation( My son wants to be a pediatric surgeon when he grows up). The hospital staff truly made the unenviable proposition of being in the hospital a truly remarkable experience.

Day of procedure went as follows. Reported into registration only to find out that the co-pay that I paid was not posted, and the amount increased. Once I got past that hurdle, to this day is not been resolved, proceeded upstairs for the procedure and come to find out that my cardiology doctor will not be performing the procedure, but some other doctor Iā€™ve never heard of. I wanted to meet the doctor prior to the procedure, but apparently that was a problem as well. At this point the nurse taking care of me got discouraged and started to display the cold shoulder attitude. And then, with overhearing a little bit of nurses talking, the doctor wasnā€™t even in the building as of yet. I was told I would meet him and talk to him prior to me being put under. At this point, I told her Iā€™d rather just get unhooked and get out of here and reschedule this to a later date when I feel comfortable. They got the doctor on the phone I spoke with him. He said he will meet me shortly and will talk. When the doctor and I met and spoke, I was informed that my cardiologist was no longer with the practice. That was it. At this point, I put my hands in God and prayed, and then said letā€™s get this over with. When it was all said and done and was brought back to my room/station. The doctor called shortly on the phone and inform me heā€™d like to see me in a week. I said fine and thank you. A few moments after that the nurse came in and told me that head surgeon wants to talk to me about my operation options. I was in shock I was like what are you talking about, I just spoke with the doctor he didnā€™t mention anything, or he forgot?. She then said just moving forward. That way you know you have options as to how you want to handle the outcome of the procedure. I said I donā€™t even know what the outcome of the procedure was or is. At this point, I was already furious. Then she the called the doctor that did the procedure. He said he wanted me to talk to the surgeon just to get ahead of the game, so I donā€™t have to wait several months to see someone and also vouched for him. I told him fine I informed the nurse and asked when will the doctor be here they couldnā€™t give me an answer I asked would it be an hour or so? They said they donā€™t know. I waited an hour and then I told him unhook me. Iā€™m going home. They took their sweet time getting me unhooked. It was silence treatment time from them, You can cut it with a knife. Iā€™ve had a few procedures and a couple of operations during my course of my life, and never have I ever felt like probably what a farm animal feels like, round them up getting poked not knowing exactly what youā€™re getting poked with or whatā€™s gonna happen. This is my first time at Advent, and rest, assured it will be my last. FYI: This will be the first time ever in my life at the age of 56 that I have said I will never. I sort of feel traumatized because Iā€™ve lost total confidence and most importantly trust.

We arrived at the hospital around 4am since my water broke. Everyone we met along the way including the security guard was helpful and caring. All the nurses were very attentive and will to do anything to make your stay more comfortable. The nurse even gave us a hug on the way out. Very warm! They went above and beyond thinking of ways to welcome a newborn baby into the world. When we walked from labor and delivery to our room they played a song on the over head speaker, we got one meal that was higher end food selection for the parents plus a birthday cake. We had a happy birthday banner in the room, complimentary photo shoot, and a backpack full with things to take home. Our only complaint was the second day was a revolving door from early morning till we left. It felt like a full time job. From lactation, to resources available to you, photos, birth certificate etcā€¦ when the doctors came I was so tired to see them but they are the ones you always wait for. We understand and appreciate all the great resources availableā€¦ is there any way to have it in a certain time frame window?
