    Park Del Mar is an extremely insensitive and disrespectful organization that has blatantly ignored the needs of my friend who decided to live here over a year ago. She is nothing short of an amazing tenant who pays her rent on time and respect her neighbors and community she surrounded herself in. However, none of this mattered when her apartment was burglarized and breached. Upon notifying the staff, it was clear that they did not prioritize her safety and security. The told her that they would not be able to repair of the broken frame of the entrance to her apartment immediately. Instead, they left her to fend for herself while they took their time over the course of 48hrs to repair the entry of the apartment which should have taken 3hrs at most to clear and fix. This action was a blatant act of disrespect and disregard to my friend. What is even crazier is that their entry gate is almost always open for anyone to entry and there are no security cameras anywhere on the complex. That means that during that 48hrs, the perpetrator could have returned with more individuals to do more damage to her space. In addition to this, the staff was audacious and told her that they would be billing her for the damage she was clearly not responsible for and they are requiring her to pay for the breach of her lease because she no longer wants to stay at an apartment complex that does not want to care for the needs and safety of their tenants. I completely and wholeheartedly do not recommend anyone to apply and reside at Park Del Mar. Your life and safety of your family does not mean anything to them, and they donā€™t possess any shame when they ignore your, present and future tenants, needs. This apartment company is pathetic, ignorant, rude, and unprofessional. Therefore, if you wish to live somewhere safe, this is not the place to apply to.

    I have been here for 1.5 years and in that time our garbage disposal, dishwasher, washer machine, toilets, and AC have all needed repairs which can take weeks. Our water has been shut off randomly with often no notice on half a dozen occasions. The office staff does not have enough personnel and do not answer phone calls to the office, often withing business hours. The community garbage disposal regularly gets backed up and a literal 4 ft pile of trash piles up at the entrance to the community which is disgusting! Yet if you leave your trash out in the breeze way for a moment you can be subject to a fine! Worst of all, we chose this apartment because it had a great view and balcony, but they have been doing renovations that have lasted half a year and we cannot use the balcony, they are charging the same rent, and are now deciding to increase the rent for this place even with their horrendous management and service. Occasionally renovations begin at 7-8am so don't expect being able to sleep in at all. Additionally, I have neighbors nearby blasting their bass/music at 1am and the management has taken no actions to stop this. The final straw was me walking to my apartment at 10:15pm and being drenched by their sprinkler system while walking on the side walk. This place needs some drastic improvement and I have only kept quiet due to the fear of them raising my rent, which is decently affordable, but that is happening regardless. Let this serve as a warning.

    I'm currently renting a two-bedroom apartment since October 2020. Since I've been here, they have had so many problems with the building. First, they didn't tell me that all the balconies were going to be under construction. So, we don't have a balcony, the washer stopped working in three weeks, roach problems the first month, wasp and bee infestation, and they haven't fixed simple issues with outlets and overhead fans. This is possibly the worst complex I have ever rented throughout the US. I'm either going have to file a civil suit or leave back to the Midwest. The rentals in Florida are the worst I've ever seen here. Do not rent here...I'm going to stay until the end of my lease or try to get out of it and leave.

    I moved here in mid Feb. Complete the day one check in list. Thereā€™s water leaking under the sink, dinning area and kitchen area have outlets thatā€™s not working, carpets were old but told me it was new, couple of the doors canā€™t open or close properly; broken window shield; broken oven base tray (once pulled out canā€™t put back in); The toilet base is cracked, shaky not stableā€¦ dirty walls and all storages including the fridge and dishwasher are dirty and smells. When turning in the check in list at the front office, they said I have to submit the maintenance request online, in order to get all the things fixed, it took them couple of weeks and the funny thing is that the leaking under the sink and toilet are the only things got fixed. They promised to come back later but never did. Then in early April, the laundry washer and dryer doesnā€™t working properly, so I submit an urgent maintenance request, itā€™s been 8 weeks now, no one came look at it. I donā€™t even know how many calls and voice massages I left. and still no one calling me back. ( they donā€™t ever pick up the phone) So I called the Maintenance emergency line instead to just asking for an update, like whatā€™s the ETA about my ticket, the person who answered my call just started to yell at me because my ticket is not considered emergency, even thought I explained the reason why. So I went to the office about this, and of course they are on lunch break from 12 to 1pm. So I waited till 1:30ish finally someone opened the office door. I was being nice about it but was very frustrated about it his whole situation. It seems like no one in the office cared, so I asked the office lady to provide me an update, like where they are with my tickets, and of course she doesnā€™t know. So I asked her to let the maintenance call me and let me know the reason why itā€™s delayed. I waited 60 days do they even know my ticket existing? ! After talking to the office lady, I still didnā€™t heart anything back, so I called the front office at lest 3-4 times left messages ( they donā€™t pick up the phone!) and Iā€™m still waiting on their response! I re-submit a new ticket. Letā€™s see whatā€™s next! Also parking here is terrible, if you get home later than 10pm thereā€™s no parking spaces. Not recommended and will not renew the contract next year.

    Poor experience. Lived here for over 2 years. Gate was left open 24/7. In my two years living here the gate was maybe closed a total of 1.5-2 months out of the 24 months. Excuse was to blame it on the residents, the ā€œslowā€ repair company, etc. Had repeat issues with package thieves and such. And I know other residents have had issues with break ins. Paid for a garage that would break and would take them over a month to repair each time. Had issues with roaches, spiders, and wasps that were never resolved. Maintenance was understaffed the entire time + the quality got poorer and poorer each year unfortunately. Once lost AC for nearly 2 weeks. I have a medical condition that makes me extremely ill in extreme heat (my apt was getting over 90 degrees inside) w/o AC access. When I asked for any sort of temporary solution (like an in-unit AC which theyā€™ve provided in the past, or fans or anything) the office staff were incredibly rude to me over the phone. The garbage situation was terrible and would sometimes become downright hazardous. They have one compactor outside that you would have to dump your trash in. Howeverā€”and Iā€™m not sure whyā€”there were times we either couldnā€™t use it or other residents simply didnā€™t use it. So there were sometimes piles upon piles of hot garbage sitting outside the compactor in a giant pile; the fluids seeping down the sidewalk. You could smell it from far away. It was disgusting. My building also would have an alarm that would continuously go off for weeks a couple times each year. Office staff never explained why. They also started doing construction on my building and other buildings surrounding me w/o notifying at all. Itā€™s a good location, but with the rent raising as much as it has it is not worth it.

    This place is a joke when it comes to anything security related. My car has been broken into twice. The second time along with both my windows being smashed there was 3 other cars too. When I complained about the gates not working. I was told they work and they donā€™t use them because other residents get confused. Seriously. You literally tap a key card to open it. Itā€™s not rocket science. Also when we asked about camera. We were told that they only have the two at the entrance and that they would look into maybe getting more camera for the rest of the parking lots. We were also told that the gates being closed would not stop people from getting in. In which I respond well at least you will catch them on your 2 camera you only have. My roommate also had his car backed into and that person took off. So if you like your stuff messed up and stolen, this is a place for you.

    We recently moved into this apartment ( 3 days ago) from the day 1 we see lot damages in the apartment like water not drain in kitchen and bathroom sink and microwave oven is broken and dishwasher is not fixed properly and toilet base is broken and water leaking from it and patio door is broken and even fire alarm is beeping all the time due to battery and till date they didn't fix anything except kitchen sink and i raised emergency request didnt get any maintenance and maintenance is very bad because no one fix the issues on time. closets are not fixed in the bed rooms All cabinets in kitchen and all doors are pealing bedroom locks are not working we very big cockroaches in bathroom

    I have had no complaints before. I am living here for about 5 years. Maintenance people are nice and courteous. Lately I have noticed that the maintenace and care have been decreasing dramatically. Looks like maintenace crew is short handed. I have maintenace requests that are months old and counting. The refrigerator is leaking water and I have to use a plastic container so water do not leak out to the floor. I have called multiple times for several months but no responce. The kitchen sink is perpetually clogged it looks like there is an structural damage to the building sewage I have tried myself to fix by using unclogging chemicals, pumps, hot water, etc, etc. We don't trow food or any solids down the food disposal machine we just wash the dishes and still smelly/ black water backs up from the sink. My sister just came from NC to help me because I just had back surgery 01/18 and can not unclog the sink this time. She went to the office asking for help and she was told that this was a good opportunity to start on a diet and so no more dishes to wash. There is a water leak in the main bathroom coming from the water valve . It was an emergecy until I explained I got another plastic container on it, the next day visit to fix it is now 5 days and counting. The appliances are very old I dont understand why they dont get replaced by new ones the oven range have exploded twice last time was yesterday while it was on preheat. They came today and said I have to wait for a resistance replacement a few days since spare parts are difficult to get on old/ outdate appliances. We had to buy an air frier oven since we had a meal ready cook. Once AC broke I had to wait 10 days for the same reason: no spare parts available and when it came someone had ordered the wrong one. It is sad seen communities like this one going from excellent to mediocre and finally bad considering the rent is not cheap. They never replace appliances by new ones you always get a refurbished one. At times I feel like they just want old leases to go somewhere else so they can get new tenants probably paying a much more expensive rent.

    I had a tour today at 11 am, when I showed up it was pouring raining. No one would answer the door. I kept knocking. I waited for Jennel until 11:30. Jennel brown was who I was supposed to be touring with, after calling multiple times, having the call center email them. She answered the door and rudely questioned if I had tried emailing or calling them.. meanwhile she was the one who wasnā€™t punctual for our appt (the call center confirmed I indeed had an appt set with her for that date/time.. and werenā€™t sure why anyone wouldnā€™t answer the door. As Iā€™m waiting for her to tour somebody else was standing outside at the door (in the rain) persistently knocking on the door, she ignored, I opened the door for him and she then yelled at me not to touch her door and let anyone in that itā€™s appointment only. After her distasteful attitude and lack of professionalism, consideration for otherā€™s time I NO LONGER was interested in renting at this complex. She is not friendly and made my experience unpleasant. If she is the assistant manager Iā€™d be careful renting from this complex.

    Staff is extremely insensitive even AFTER a burglary. My best-friend has been living there for over a year. She was nothing short of an amazing tenant. Her apartment was broken into and they were made aware before the police even had time to arrive at the scene. After a staff member expressed interest in how disheartening the situation was, it was obvious that her safety was NOT of any importance and that the sentiments were EMPTY. They told her they wouldn't be able to fix the door (keep in mind the entire frame was broken) because maintenance was off for the day (This all occurred before 6pm). Can you imagine coming home to a broken door, calling the property manager and them saying they can't help you until possibly another 48 hours? She was essentially displaced for a little over 24 hours and after taking into account the sequence of events with no closure as to how or why this happened, she inquired on breaking her lease. Did I mention how much of a good tenant she is? Their staff had the AUDACITY to tell her it wouldn't be made possible without them charging her the "appropriate" fees. Did I mention their front gates are almost always opened? And that they had no cameras to assist with any part of the investigation? Are tenants them being bamboozled? Do they not take into account that at any given moment someone's life could be at risk? The height of incompetence and selfishness. I would NOT recommend leasing from any company that doesn't even begin to consider your safety and or taking appropriate and swift action to help you get the issue resolved. I'd also like to mention, we're all smart enough to know there are shared risks at apartments and that she hasn't asked for anything short of reasonable. We're assuming she wasn't targeted so there's no telling that if you move here, your apartment won't get broken into and that they won't care. They didn't even offer to cut the fees or discount them. Her life means little to nothing to them even after they saw law enforcement and the scene FIRST HAND. A SHAME and I honestly dare anyone that represents this apartment to challenge anything I'm saying. You guys have been pathetic, ruthless, unprofessional and inhumane.

    This place has gone down the hill, been living here for 2 years and it gets worst every day. Maintenance is no where to be found, place is dirty all the time, this picture I took it today 10/09/2021 that trash been there for over 2 days and no one has done anything about it. I pay way too much on rent to live like this. I do not recommend this place not even to my worst enemy. Gates are always open even though we pay to have them close, no security was so ever. To be honest I do not feel safe.

    If I could give no stars I would. Staff was UNHELPFUL and INSENSITIVE regarding the protection of their residents that they have under contract. This is not a safe place and do not recommend it to anyone who cares about their own safety. My sister lives here and someone attempted to break into her apartment. The on-site maintenance arrived AFTER the police. The staff will not allow her to move into another apartment even though she was clearly targeted. Her entire door from was broken and staff has been flippant and unprofessional in their handling of the situation. 0/10 would not recommend living here. The front gates remain open welcoming unwanted guests and burglars but there are no cameras available to assist with the investigation? This entire place is laughable and I'm heartbroken to know they claim to pride themselves on safety. The jokes write themselves.

    Been living here for about a month and a half now. If I had given a review around the time I was signing my lease papers, I would've given 3 stars or less. The tour was great, but they didn't have our model available to show, so we had to imagine it (they did provide a bunch of photos though, which helped). I didn't want to sign the lease until I saw our actual apartment, due to really awful situations in the past with other properties. The apartment said on the website that it would officially be ready by 3/22, but lack of communication between parties led to it being available to view around 3/31 - a couple days before our actual move-in date. The vague back and forth via email on this is what initially irked me. Finally, our leasing agent got us in and we took a look at the place before our move-in date and made a quick decision to sign the lease papers. It was a good decision, which is why I'm giving this review 4 stars. Park Del Mar, I believe, has been a great place to live so far. Really quiet, the walls are thick, and it's in a pretty good location close to I-75 and I-275. The complex communicates pretty often with its residents, and the area is kept clean. I honestly really enjoy living here so far. The only thing I'd ask the complex to do is fix the gates since there seems to be security concerns from past reviews, and they've been open since before I moved in.

    If youā€™re looking to rent here, I strongly recommend looking into whether or not the construction on your building is finished. I work nights and the construction is so loud and so frequent that itā€™s affecting my health. And sure, sometimes buildings need construction. It took somewhere in the neighborhood of seven months for them to finish ONE building (itā€™s not even entirely finished to my knowledge but nevertheless they have moved on). The amount of time taken to perform repairs is insane. Beyond that, a friend in the finished building has suffered a number of issues with mold and water damage along with careless construction workers leaving places in the wall exposed to open air and leaving the interior of their home a mess. The company running the show might as well be named supervillain inc. and Iā€™m sorry to the office workers who will likely have to read this because they and maitenence are both severely underpaid, particularly considering the amount of residentsā€™ income received by supervillain incorporated for the 40 year old property. Pay your employees enough to live in your buildings at least, Jesus Christ.

    I have lived at Park Del Mar for almost 7 years. The staff has always been responsive and helpful. They are constantly making efforts to improve and update the facilities. The location is great and the price is fair.

    I lived there 21 years ago and found the staff friendly and highly responsive. The 3br apartment was clean and everything was in working order. The rent was a bit high and would have increased at the end of the lease, so I moved back down toward the VA for a couple years before buying a house for less than the rent I was paying. I have been in my home for over 18 years, but still have good memories of my time at Park del Mar.

    I lived here from 2019 until recently and there was so many problems with this property manager Kerri. I got my fingers cut in the garage door because they would fix he garage and I was advise to give her this information and she would see about paying my medical bill and she had not responded back to me with whether this claim had been denied or would be paid. All she does is eat and I think she want the money for herself so she can feed her fat face. I had someone to mess with my clothes on my bed and I had maintenance to go into my apartment to change out my lock and I was still living there. I don't advise anyone to live here this is one of the worse places you could ever decided to move to. Kerri you need Jesus

    Ever since me and my roommate moved in we have experienced nothing but problems. 2 hours before we moved in we were told that we couldnā€™t move in because the people who were supposed to rip out our carpet did not come. Upon move in we have found multiple problems such as a half working toilet, a shower that barley drains, outlets that donā€™t even work. We have made multiple attempts to have these items fixed by calling and no one has still even bothered to look. After bombarding the office to fix my toilet they finally came for it to break again. This is beyond frustrating.
