The
issue
our
family
had
yesterday
at
the
Illinois
hillside
Krispie
kreme.
We
went
to
the
Krispie
kreme
location
in
Elk
Grove
which
did
not
have
glazed
doughnuts
only
assorted.
They
claimed
their
machine
was
not
functioning.
We
wanted
to
redeem
a
birthday
coupon
for
assorted
and
glazed
doughnuts
so
we
decided
to
try
next
closest
location.
Unfortunately
the
Lobby
was
closed
for
an
unknown
reason
there
was
a
sign
on
the
door.
At
this
point
the
drive
thru
line
was
across
the
parking
lot.
We
waited
about
30
minutes
before
reaching
the
speaker
where
we
proceeded
to
tell
them
we
had
an
online
order
that
was
estimated
to
be
ready
long
before
we
had
gotten
to
the
front.
They
claimed
they
did
not
have
assorted
and
that
every
car
was
only
allowed
two
boxes
because
the
machine
was
not
functioning
and
they
wouldn’t
have
enough
doughnuts.
We
explained
we
would
only
like
to
be
offered
another
box
for
waiting
in
line
but
also
because
the
other
in
the
car
wanted
to
order
separate
from
the
online
order.
We
spoke
to
a
male
at
first
and
very
kindly
explained
that
to
him
which
is
not
in
the
video.
He
proceeded
to
pass
along
the
order
to
someone
else
who
was
not
filled
in
about
what
we
were
trying
to
figure
out
with
the
gentleman.
Meanwhile
my
step
mother
is
trying
to
celebrate
her
birthday
and
just
pick
up
her
online
order.
The
confusion
worsened
when
the
manager
came
to
the
speaker
and
was
being
very
rude.
This
was
over
all
very
upsetting
for
all
of
us.
Our
night
were
ruined
and
management
should
not
be
given
the
privilege
of
treating
Krispie
kreme
customers
the
way
she
did.
She
also
set
an
example
for
other
employees
who
now
might
believe
they
can
also
escalate
a
simple
situation
instead
of
simply
communicating
to
diffuse
the
situation,
we
shouldn’t
have
had
that
problem
to
begin
with.
The
app
allowed
the
online
order
and
those
doughnuts
were
not
available.
We
were
not
offered
an
alternative
but
to
call
corporate
for
a
refund
and
that
the
store
location
could
not
help
us
in
any
way.
All
we
got
from
that
experience
was
horrible
customer
service
and
a
waste
of
our
own
and
Everyone
else
time.
We
are
very
disappointed
that
the
bare
minimum
of
customer
service
standards
were
not
met.
They
came
out
to
ask
us
to
leave
without
fulfilling
our
order
which
we
did
after
trying
to
reason
for
15
min.
