EXTREMELY RUDE staff. Personally experienced them talking badly about a customer while he was in store. Very catty, highschool clique behavior from staff members. Makes me incredibly uncomfortable. Decided to put down my over priced merchandise and leave instead. Just moved here and was excited, now I will never return.

What a cool shop! I spent a long time just wandering around looking at all the stones and doing research. What I loved is the employees let me do just that. I never felt watched or judged. They were helpful when I asked for assistance as well. The energy in this store is so calming and I loved the cards that gave you information on the meaning of the stones or where wood was sourced. I got Palo Alto, sage with flowers, obsidian, rose quarts and cinnamon for a cleansing ritual. I will be back. So glad to find a place on the island for metaphysical items.

Honestly its just a rock and overpriced jewlery shop. If youre looking for a metaphysical store youre better off going to Savannah or trying Etsy. Very little incense and zero herbs & a laughable used book section of which they were charging full price for obsviously used/donated & tattered books. No CANDLES AT ALL? lol. Lots of overpirced mid-tier tumbled crystals and laughable prices for the crystals behind glass. I bought some essential oil made by them but its so watered down it smelled like nothing in my diffuser after using 1/4 of the bottle so I just threw it away. Its a gift shop in south carolina so its exactly what you'd expect honestly. Tacky/no theme. Overpirced. Pseudo-metaphysical with literally zero focus on diveristy, anti-cultiral appropriation, or any wellness/pracitce whatsoever. Staff had zero knowlege a out anything. Oh, and the 5$ fake cryatal carvings at checkout of the animals & mushrooms cracked me up. You can buy 48 mini carved mushrooms on Amazon for $22. Anyway youll get exacltly what you pay for which is way too much for what little they offer. Not to mention The "music" was a distracting series of ads and childrens video game sounds. Because the best thing to listen to when youre shopping is video game characters moaning & screaming! Like I said, its a mid tier rock/cryatal store at best. Bad vibes. Staff have zero metaphysical knowdlege. Bad smell. Dusty inventory. Overpiced. No music. You can tell its mostly from amazon/cheap wholesale. Try Esty. Or even amazon and skip the middle man! I cannot reccomend against this place enough. What a total waste of time and money.

My favorite store on the island, i could spend days in here. The variety is unbelievable. They have products everywhere, so many little bins of a very wide variety of stones and gems. The art is beautiful and creative.

Amazing shop! No matter if you just love and collect rocks/crystals or you believe in the metaphysical aspects of them, there is something for everyone! I frequent Black Market for my rock collection and also supplies for my meditation and ritual work. Just entering the store brings on a feeling of calm and serenity from the magnificent energy given off by the rocks/crystals in the store. Most of the staff are extremely knowledgeable about everything related to rocks and they are always ready to help you if you have any questions or need help finding something specific. I highly recommend everyone stop in at some point. There is something for everyone and a lot of great gift ideas. Home decor, jewelry, loose stones, crystals and rocks. Polished rocks, natural rough rocks or tumbled rocks. It's ALL HERE!

Black Market is by far the best place to shop at Coligny Plaza, if not entire island. Ivy, Dillon, Rikki, and the rest of the staff will treat you like family. My wife and I make sure it’s our first and last stop each time we visit HHI. Fair warning be prepared to spend at least an hour looking around to take it all in, and then another hour trying not to buy everything in the store.

Unique stone jewelry, stone lighting, dream catchers, didgeridoo,congo drums, wind chimes and countless other interesting things all squeezed into one fascinating store. Can be dangerous to your wallet, lol.

One of our absolute favorite stores on earth. If you are energy-aware, you'll have a hard time leaving this store. 😊

Great shop with all sorts of items. You know how hard it is to find Frankincense? They have it! Reminds me of growing up in the Orthodox church. Lots of other items, including stick and cone incense, scarves, all kinds of healing stones and rocks, and lots of decorative stuff. And the staff was extremely friendly and informative.

Very interesting store. I was surprised at all the items they had. The prices were not extremely crazy. The staff was very friendly. We even had the opportunity to watch them work together discussing a display. Polite to each other as well.

This place is a treasure trove. There are so many things to see. It's a great place to take kids to be able to let them buy something, since they have many, many options for under $5. But, I recommend having a high child-to-adult ratio. The prices are really reasonable, which is surprising for it's neighborhood. I've wanted a driftwood/blown glass combo for years, and I was able to get one here at a great price. This store is now on our list of things to do each time we come to the island.

10/10 customer service. Some time ago I got one of their smashed pennies and it was dearly charished. It was recently lost and I unfortunately live out of state so I feared I'd never get another. But the incredible staff went out of their way to mail me a new penny! Not only is that above and beyond but it's so greatly appreciated!!

My sister and I love this place. The minerals, jewelry, and gifts are always quality. I have so many bracelets because this store exists, and they'll last for years. We'll be back next year for more crystal goods!

As a crystal enthusiast I was excited and impressed with Cole and Dylan at Black Market Minerals. Their knowledge and willingness ensured I found what I was looking for, and they introduced me to some new specimens! Great shop with a vast selection at various price points.

Been coming here for years. Always looking forward to seeing the new stuff they have. Can look at the stuff in this place all day. If you're in Hilton Head and like rocks/crystals/nature Black Market Minerals is a must stop!
