If you are in Hilton Head Island, you must make a trip to Coligny Beach to visit the awesome staff at Pool bar Jim's. Not only are they the best, they make great drinks. Their frozen concoctions are out of this world delicious. Our next trip I will be there every day. It was our favorite. Great location, great staff and amazing drinks. Next time we need to try food too.

Great outdoor bar with outstanding drinks and service. The specialty is frozen, tropical and exotic cocktails but cold beer and regular drinks are also great. The bartenders are a great crew, friendly and talented. Jim is great to speak with! The attached restaurant has a great grouper sandwich as well as wings, burgers other offerings. I love the house salad with grilled chicken. The sweet tea glazed chicken breast sandwich is amazing! The bar closes at 8pm and the restaurant stops serving at 6pm so come early or just walk up from the beach and spend a pleasant afternoon with a Pina Colada!

Great place off Coligny Beach and Sea Crest Resort. Low key, fun. Drinks are best around. Jim has really good stories and excellent staff. Perfect, local island bar!

What a cool gem! I had one of the next drinks I’ve ever had there. My boyfriend had a traditional math. My drink had bananas, strawberry purée and pina coloda. Be prepared to spend a lot. Our two drinks were $26. But the atmosphere and views were worth the experience. They do close at 8 so make sure you plan to get there before they close.

An informal beach bar with a friendly atmosphere. The bartenders are very good at what they do, those exotic cocktails, you decide what you want to drink. The food is nothing special. It's always full, which makes the bar less comfortable. You'll be more comfortable on the terrace, even if the breeze doesn't come. The entrance is also a bit strange from the parking lot. I think they would have to invest and make renovations.

Been trying to make it here all week but the weather has been a little iffy and they either decided not to open or close early. Regardless, finally made it, ordered a pina colada, was handed one large glass with the leftovers in a small glass, and all was right in the world again. Great low key spot with a great view and even better drinks. Looking forward to coming back!!

Stop in and see Mark for great drinks and service. Highly recommend a lava flow or painkiller. The garbage hotdog is good as well. If you're really lucky, you'll catch Jim there so you can grab a shirt or his frozen drink recipe guide.

Totally heartbroken..... We traveled well out of our way to experience the legendary Pool Bar Jim's. Let me start by saying our server was great. Absolutely no complaints about service. Our drinks were presented beautifully and looked amazing, however after 2 rounds and a 100 bucks later 3 adults literally felt nothing. We ordered doubles mind you! The pineapple in our painkillers was bitter and sour not even close to fresh.We had planned on coming right back and having lunch and another round after cooling off. But as we walked to the car to grab our towels for a quick dip in the ocean,(and to smoke a cigarette, which the staff at the bar told us to go smoke on the beach as well)we were stopped by a gentleman at the resort that threatened to tow us if we went towards the beach with our towels. Like seriously we weren't planning on staying at the beach we literally came to Jim's for lunch and cocktails. However after the threat we quickly decided to just get in the car and leave. Sadly as much as I'd love to give them another chance, I honestly don't believe it's worth the hassle you get for dropping a few hundred dollars for lunch and 2 drinks for 3 people. I hate having to leave a bad review it breaks my heart. We totally expected this to be the highlight of our trip, and are just completely bummed by the whole experience.

This place is amazing. Wish I found it earlier on my vacation. The food is great and the drinks are incredible. Just look at the pic. Every Bahama Mama comes with a little Baby Mama for free. What more can you ask for?

This guy was at the Marriott Grand Ocean for years, and I've been having his drinks (NA) since I was a young lad. I always remember them being delicious. I have been here a few times now that I'm "of age" to consume his regular drinks, and I definitely don't mind heading over to seacrest for them. The drinks are generous and delicious. He has an extensive menu, so if you don't see something you like, just ask the bartender for some recs. This location has a really nice patio area overlooking the beach and ocean that is perfect for an evening cooler. I'll never forget going to pool bar Jim's with my parents growing up, and I'll continue to come here as long as I can.

Jim and his top notch crew of bartenders serve up awesome frozen drinks and the best atmosphere for kicking back and relaxing. One of my all time favorite bars - also has solid food! Thanks Jim for being such a great host.

The service and food here are excellent! I would say some of the best on Hilton Head Island. Very organized. Some bartenders will be rude and cocky with a chip on their shoulders, however (and thankfully) that is NOT present at this establishment. Some of the best fish and chips i have ever eaten. I ordered variations of the mojitos from Johnny- i have a lot of dietary restrictions being a diabetic and Johnny was very patient and understanding. I will be returning just as soon as i make it back to Hilton Head! P.s. The music selection is awesome as well.

Absolutely the best place to get an outdoor beverage on hhi. Jim has been serving up frozen classics in this off off the beaten path oasis for quite some time now. If you've never been it's a must try

Frozen Adult Drinks are fantastic, and great value for money, Service is everything you would think of at a beachfront pool bar. Food is basic and very good. All in all there's many reasons why it's the best on HH. Park at the HH Beach parking and walk here. It's not far and we'll worth it.....

Been going for 30 years and the consistency and quality of the drinks are superb. Always friendly and fun. More types of frozen drinks than you can imagine, made to order using fresh ingredients.

We love going down to PBJ's! We live in Bluffton, about 25 min away, and on a nice day off we go. Have a couple drinks, eat a hot dog (the grouper sandwich is really good, too) and soak up some warmth. Especially love it on a warm winters afternoon. Today it was beautiful down there, and it's February 1st! You can see the ocean on the horizon over the dunes. Relaxing. Just what we need!

Jim's is a must stop for us on HHI! Great setting, great drinks and several worthy options on the dining menu. Best staff on the island, but they can be very busy at times. Love PBJ's!

5 Stars for Pool Bar Jim’s bartender Cameron Johnston who is by far the best bartender I have ever met. He makes an effort to remember the customers names, starts friendly conversations, hustles and makes a killer tequila sunrise (as well as every other tropical drink) :) I hope the owner realizes what a 12/10 bartender he has working for him!

Just what you'd expect in a popular pool bar. Owner Jim uses fresh fruit in his renowned recipes. If you can't have sugar there are other choices. Loved it and visited it daily.

Another great place on the island. Great music relaxing environment on the beach with a little walkway. If you order a frozen drink you get the remander in another cup which was nice. They gave me a birthday bahma momma that was very taste. This is located on the grounds of another resort so you had to find a place to park and walk a little but we'll worth the visit.
