Exceptionally expensive hotel (£17.00 for a very avetage burger and fries) but without the quality of service to make it worthwhile. There's no doubt that the location and facilities are perfect, that the rooms are clean, the decor lovely and the facilities of a very high standard. BUT despite having plenty of staff and not many guests, it seems impossible to get a meal order taken correctly or served hot. I'm not used to giving bad reviews, but a major shake-up is needed here! The one saving grace was the exceptionally well-run Marco Pierre-White restaurant. Excellent meal with service that exceeded the cost of the meal.

Really nice hotel and very quiet considering it's location very close to the M69 and on the A5. We didn't arrive until late due to traffic so couldn't eat in the main restaurant which was disappointing, but Triumph bar was serving food which was ok. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful. Only other slight issue was the lack of shower gel/soap in the bathroom. I have stayed at much cheaper hotels and been provided with these.

Went for a 2 day work conference. Meeting rooms were fine but every room had a different temperature so at some points you were in Spain and other times in the darkest Icelandic cliff edge. The rooms were huge and had 2 double beds in, showers were good and everything was pretty clean. The food throughout was OK, nothing special but nothing to complain about either.

Great looking hotel and good sized rooms but it's lacking some basic amenities provided by quite a few hotels. There is no air conditioning in the rooms and the windows barely open, although fans are provided if there are any available - it's not pleasant when you've had 25 degrees plus weather during the day. The window in one of rooms was shut with a couple of screws and someone came to try and open it but the hinges were bent so the window didn't open. The hotel put us up in another room on the following day as all the rooms were booked on our first night. There was no mini fridge in our rooms and one can't be bought to you as "they don't have wheels". You have to request your room to be cleaned or bedding to be changed by 10:30pm on the night otherwise nothing gets changed - we checked in around 10pm, so weren't sure if we should have requested it for the next day - we might have done so if we knew the rooms were going to be that warm. However, we found that even if you put a request in for the room to be cleaned, there's no guarantee that your room will be cleaned. We had five rooms and not a single room for cleaned during our three day stay - we managed to get a few fresh towels from reception. Breakfast was decent, although the staff were slow to fill up the food that had been consumed on our first day. We had to ask and wait for our tables to be cleaned a couple of times before someone decided to clean them and even then, half the crumbs remained in the table or were wiped on to the seats. Second and third day were much better as the hotel was less busy.

Attended the hotel for a work conference and overnight stay. The rooms are very spacious and nice, with a lot having 2 double beds and still plenty of space. Bathroom was very roomy too. All amenities required were available. The hotel itself is very big with lots of space and rooms - good for conferences. The downside is it can be a bit of a walk from your room down to reception. The layout for rooms can be a little confusing, with rooms starting 1**, 2** & 3** on all floors. Car park is big too, although, again, can be a bit of a walk (on a slight slope, so an incline when you're returning back to your car). Easy access spaces available for those that need them though. Couple of bars in the hotel. Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, very nice venue, especially for large groups or conferences.

We were quite disappointed with the cleanliness of this hotel. On first look around the room everything was fine however on closer inspection there was dirty marks down the walls, tiles and door in bathroom and room, nail clippings and dirt behind the sink, a spider and webs inside the (drinking) glass provided in bathroom. We did have a good night sleep as bed was clean and comfy however due to the basic hygiene issues we had, we would not return.

Room and bathroom spacious. TV packed up after 10 minutes...response was disappointing. No spares as hotel was full, and no maintenance people on site, so no TV. No apology or suggestion of discount, even when I raised it when booking out. Of course, I had paid in advance!!!!! The impression I got was they didn't really care. Shame

We stayed there with our two young toddlers, and it was excellent. Lovely staff, very welcoming and friendly. The ambience was light and pleasant. The halls were clean and vibrant. The room was huge with enough room to play for our kids. And the bathroom was very decent too. Can't complain at all. I've stay at many hotels throughout the UK and this was a highly enjoyable experience from my perspective. I would recommend this place if you need a good time.

I really enjoyed my stay here while doing a Stay Play and Explore experience. Hotel was a 30 minute driving distance from the experiences booked. Easy enough to find. Huge fancy hotel ! Rooms were very clean, any problems we came across were resolved in an acceptable timely manor by the time. Breakfast was lovely. All breakfast staff were friendly, kind and made a fuss of the children. Would recommend staying here. Plenty of parking too! But if you leave when your on your stay please ensure you ask for the code for the barrier.

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night and were pleased to see there were lots of free parking spaces available and the hotel was a good size. The family room we stayed in was also a good size and we had a decent night's sleep, although the Bathroom was showing signs of wear and tear. Before we stayed, I emailed reception and asked if I needed to book a swimming slot as knew my children would want to swim whilst we were there, and I received a reply to tell me I needed to book this at reception on arrival. When we arrived, I was told by the receptionist that the pool was closed between 4 - 6 pm and I would need to go to the pool area or call them to book a slot. As soon as we arrived in the room, I called them to be told they were fully booked. My only option was to come now (4.30) and have until 5 pm. I cannot understand how they were fully booked when check-in is not until 4.00 pm! We, therefore, had no option but to rush down there and spent half an hour in the pool. We were told if the full amount of people booked did not arrive, we could have longer and they would come and tell us but this never happened. There were a lot of people in the pool so you could hardly swim anyway and there appeared to be a lot of people lying on the loungers around the pool or sitting there on their phones which I did not feel was appropriate when children were in the pool. Breakfast time arrived and there was a small queue waiting at the entrance to the breakfast area but the staff that were serving simply saw us standing there and carried on with their duties. We all eventually got bored and just walked in and sat down to eat breakfast. We did notice there was someone standing there on our way out but am sure someone should have been there to check us in. The breakfast offering had a mixed selection, but half of the buffet breakfast bowls were empty. and the food did not seem to be refilled as quickly as it was being eaten. Overall, we had a good sleep and enjoyed the look and feel of the hotel but it's just a shame about the lack and false communication provided.

Nice spacious hotel with large rooms. Reception staff were welcoming and polite. Stayed for a night and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Room was clean and well maintained, bathroom was also fine although a little black module on the shower screen. Pool was nice and quiet during the visit and well worth a visit. Facilities also include jacuzzi, steam rooms and sauna. Breakfast was as expected for a hotel of this size with hot and cold foods, it wasn't busy during our stay. Nice hotel at a good price, will use again if staying in the area.

Went to a Joiner Christmas party, can’t fault the staff, food was less than desirable, corridors were freezing with a number of external doors open, even freezing at the bar in the party room. Ended up staying over, room was tired but overall still had a very good night. Real shame about the food for £45

Is what it is . Big hotel in Leicestershire. However,it was clean, warm, tidy and friendly. My only gripe was there was only very inexperienced member of staff behind the bar for what seemed ages Saturday afternoon. Other than that,it's fine

Stayed for two days whilst in the area on business. Checked in late on the first night and the gentleman on reception was very accommodating and didn’t charge me for the fries I ordered which was a lovely gesture. Unfortunately when we checked in to the room it had a blocked sink and dirty towels which was very frustrating. We did get offered to move rooms but it was 3am and we had already unpacked our belongings. When we came back the second night the gentlemen on reception was very rude when we asked if we could pay for late checkout on the day we were due to leave, he said that the hotel was fully booked (even though it wasn’t) and I did ask him why we couldn’t stay in the room till late checkout ends as I don’t see how they are going to put another guest in a room with a broken sink ? The rooms are nice if all facilities work. The service is hit and miss unfortunately so please be aware. And the location is central and nearby to local amenities. Also please be aware the food isn’t consistent.. we ordered Fries on the first night and they were lovely triple cooked fries but on the second night they were burnt oven chips. And the pizza was burnt too. We also waited 15 minutes in reception on our second night for a member of staff to deal with our request. I rate this hotel a 3 out of 5

This has been our second stay at this hotel and third time at a Leonardo Hotel (Oxford) and both had great service throughout our stays. Abbie was amazing at sorting our booking and even added a personal touch to our second stay with vouchers for drinks and treats in the room. The pool is lovely - remember to book ahead! The food was delicious with a good variety of options - catering for a dairy allergy. The restaurant staff were friendly and checked that our children had what they needed. We will be back again!

Nice large very clean hotel. Stayed tge night with my family. Had the barbecue. £20 ahead. Recon it was worth £10 max. Breads were stale but as a whole not best value for money. Would stay again though. Breakfast was very good

Had a great Christmas get together with friends. Such a shame that they appeared under staffed Saturday afternoon. One poor girl behind the bar was having to serve drinks and deliver food. We unfortunately had to send ours back as the chips were cold and the bread on the sandwich had gone hard. Everyone who ordered food that lunchtime unfortunately said it was cold but some didn't like to complain. It was also freezing cold in the lounge we were in, and everyone had their coats on, the maintenance man didn't appear to be able to fix it. It was suggested we sat in the Triumph lounge where it was warmer, which we did, although the bar was closed in there. It would have made more sense to open that bar and close the other. The receptionist knew we had had problems as we asked if she could get some help for the girl on her own who was getting some hassle off some customers. She kindly gave us vouchers for a drink each. Hopefully the staff shortage at that time was a one off. Breakfast was very busy but we couldn't fault it. We also spoke to a couple that ate there on the evening and they said their meal was lovely. Our experience won't stop us from returning but felt the point had to be made about the young lady on her own.

We enjoyed our stay, beds were comfortable, food and service were excellent, staff friendly. The only issue was the extractor fan was broken in the room toilet. And the bathroom wasn't very clean. As a friend of mine paid for my room I didn't complain, had I, I would certainly have made staff aware.

Stayed at the Leonardo Hinckley for my trip to Silverstone in 2023. The rooms were clean and to the standard I expected. My only note on the rooms was in regard to the shower - the bathtub was very slippery, with no mat provided and the showerhead is fixed in place. Service was fine. I didn't interact a lot with the staff other than ordering at the bar. We ordered food from the bar on 2 nights which was good on both occasions. I can't comment on the location much as we didn't leave the hotel other than to travel to the circuit (around 1 hour away), but it did seem a little remote, so not ideal if you want to find a local shop/market or even explore the local area.

A massive space but good. Been hosting conferences at thus venue for ages, every time is different and fun! The Executive bedrooms are 👌👌👌. Different rooms to accommodate different size guests - fab! Good food.

Had another fantastic time at the Leonardo hotel Hinckley. The food is always great but the service is fantastic. Chaz went above and beyond what a normal waiter would do. We wanted for nothing. This is why we come back to this hotel.

Stayed here for work. Room was modern and clean. Had a bath which was a bonus. No air con or safes in room but all other amenities. Iron etc. Not the cheapest but work paid and I am sure if you shop around you can get a deal. Location is ok but you need to drive to eat outside of the hotel unless you want to navigate busy roads and major roundabout off the motorway. Large hotel and was busy with conferences so restaurant was fully booked but looked empty when we returned from eating out????? Ok for business stay but if you want the small friendly feel then.i am sure you can find better hotels closer to Hinckley town centre.

Booked for a weekend getaway as it had pool/sauna/gym . The stay was very good- all staff went extra mile in providing exceptional service. Chaz in the restaurant- gave us all vegetarian options and also suggested which are the best ones to try. Service was super quick. Room were quite spacious, although they are not airconditioned - we were provided with a fan. Seating area in all parts of the hotel was nice and cool- but rooms felt hot. But might be good for winter or when we do not have a heat wave. In all I definitely come back.

The property was well maintained however the hotel room doors looked really old and chipped away at. Also, as this was a spa hotel the room could have done with some complimentary biscuits with the tea amenities. Jaccuzi is very small but the rest of the facilities were adequate. Breakfast was standard buffet style. Overall average stay

I went here for a party and a stay over. The hotel is nicely presented, staff were helpful when needed, the room I was in was spacious, but it was one of the end rooms, I didn't see any other room. The main toilets could have been serviced more often throughout the night as the hand wash had run out at the beginning of the night and not replenished. Good location for travel as well.

I really enjoyed our stay, the staff are lovely. The facilities are fabulous. My children had so much fun. They enjoyed the pool. The prices are reasonable. The food was really nice as well. We will be back.

So a big hotel particularly busy. Standard of room was good, clean and well maintained. Choice of resteraunts on site, good choice on menu. Staff really helpful throughout out stay. Loved the gym, well resourced. Overall a great stay.

Excellent reception staff, efficient, friendly service everywhere, despite the hotel being very busy. Clean, comfortable hotel with pleasant seating areas dotted around. An enjoyable meal in the Marco Pierre restaurant and good coffee available in a small, pleasant bar adjacent to the larger family Triumph bar .

We have been visiting this hotel for over 30 years, and have always been very happy. Our latest stay was over the Easter weekend. This latest stay was made very memorable by the staff at breakfast. I would like to take this opportunity to say a very big thank you to Chelsea, Shannon, and Lewis (who I believe was the manager). These 3 members of staff remained very calm and professional especially on the Saturday, which was probably the busiest days for breakfast that I can remember over the years. They worked flat our but at the same time giving exceptional customer service. This made going to breakfast an absolute joy. Thank you to all three of you,for being so polite and courteous at all times.

Stayed here for my partner's birthday. Huge hotel with lots of parking. Friendly, helpful staff.. Emma Peers went the extra mile to add special touches to the room we stayed in, which was clean and spacious. It's a pity we didn't manage to use the leisure facilities, will be sure to do so if we return. Thanks again

Haven’t got anything negative to say about this hotel. Absolutely superb stay. Staff are extremely professional and work extremely hard to make your stay a good one. The leisure centre is quite small but very calm and relaxing and has everything you need. Breakfast was nice, only negative was the hash browns were a little overcooked. The barrier at the hotel caught us out coming out as they have a code. We didn’t ask for this on our first night when venturing out to Nuneaton. Easy to get to off the M69. Would especially like to thank the young ginger haired girl on the cafe bar. She was very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Lovely spacious hotel. Clean big rooms with comfortable beds. Good facilities and nice to be able to use spa too for an hour a day. Great varied breakfast and friendly and accommodating staff. Rooms arent cleaned daily but staff were happy to give us extra towels and top up our refreshments etc.

I love coming here for conferences and staying over. It is always a very pleasant stay. The staff are accomodating, polite, helpful, and friendly, often going the extra mile. It's clean and the food for our events sit down meals is always just right. It would be helpful to have signs in all of the, almost identical, corridors to find our way around more quickly and easily. Particularly on leaving conference rooms and toilets. Looking forward to returning in September 2022 for our next conference
