Nice rooms, clean, updated. Parking lot is behind the hotel with only room for about 10-11 vehicles. Our 2nd floor common area is nice, and has a dinette table if you want to bring carry out food back, and a couch area to relax. The elevator is “interesting”. It’s small, slow, loud, industrial, but does the job. As others have stated, you must check in at the main hotel down the street, and also go there for breakfast. That knocked it down from 5 stars to 4.

Very weird property, won't be staying here again. Basically an annex 200m from the actual Hotel Isafjodur, you have to Park elsewhere (almost no on-site parking), walk to the main hotel, check in, and walk back here. Breakfast is also only served over at the other hotel. The Horn is located right across the street from a late night fast food restaurant so there's shouting and loud diesels coming and going until about 11:30pm, so in summer you can't keep your windows open, and the room gets super hot and stuffy. Room itself is clean and nice except for one oddity- they provide a hot water pot, but the only wall outlets are behind the beds or in the middle of a wall in the bathroom, so you can't plug in the 40cm power cord anywhere in the room. Avoid.

Pretty solid hotel. The rooms were very clean and spacious, and they give you a place to hang up wet coats. Only downside is parking at the hotel is limited, and check in/out, as well as breakfast are at Hotel Isafjordur which is a short walk away.

Amazing scary elevator. One long shaft with doors. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was served at a nearby hotel which was ordinary. No English Breakfast tea either.

Room is decent size. Bathroom is ok. The curtains don't fully close and do not block out the light. Breakfast is served in the other hotel that you check-in at. Parking is limited behind the hotel. The street the windows face was loud all night.

Pretty happy with my stay here. Nice clean rooms with a decent bathroom. The location is right in the center of the city so you can walk to anything you need. The breakfast had many options including hot options as well. But you need to walk about 400 meters. Staff was very polite as well.

Excellent location, great room, comfy bed. Close to restaurants and shops. Only thing is check in is at another hotel down the street. Hotel room was very clean, and check-in clerk was very helpful. No issues whatsoever! Would stay again for sure! :) Also, the elevator is pretty cool - I think it's a lift. You operate it by pressing and holding the floor you want to be raised to. I thought I was cool, I don't know. lol

Deluxe Double Room had lots of space and great views. Rooms are clean. Each floor has a sitting area, which is great for extra space or hanging out with other travelers. Check in (and breakfast) is at Hotel Torg, a short walk away. The desk wasn't staffed when we were checking in, making this confusing, although it was around 9pm and that seems to be a time when things are shutting down.

One of the two hotels in Isafjordur (both belong to the same owner). This one is slightly newer, smaller and quieter. Clean, modern, rooms large. Poor wifi, basic breakfast and few tv channels

We had a laat minute booking and stayed at this hotel. The room was very clean and neat. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was as expected. Being a sister hotel to the Isafjordur you would expect the same great service. Would recommend either hotel.

Rooms are nice and comfortable but no reception, restaurant or breakfast are available at the building. It is just for rooms and the elevator is a cargo elevator, need to operate it for lift, which was a little bit weird. Hotel Isafjordur nearby (aprox 200 meters) is where you check in, get breakfast and has a restaurant with 10% discount for guests.

I think the only positive this hotel has is the design of the rooms. Unfortunately, that's the only aspect of the hotel I can vouch for. It's hard to know where to start with all the problems this hotel has. First off, the internet is absolutely terrible to the point where even loading still images on social media can take 30 seconds. I'm not sure how it's possible they have this bad of internet when guesthouses I've stayed at in Iceland in the middle of nowhere have super solid internet. As other reviews have mentioned, noise is a pretty big problem with this hotel. You can hear noise from all the rooms around you, even down to people walking on the floor above you. The windows are also quite thin, so enjoy hearing the cars drive past all night as well. Lastly, the only way to plug in the kettle they provided for coffee or tea is to stack the side tables on each other and put them next to the plug in the bathroom. This is a somewhat annoying oversight that is almost a little funny in how absurd it is. Overall, if you don't want to access the internet, sleep easily, or make up for lost sleep with a nice cup of coffee this hotel would be great.

I had a good experience here and think this hotel is underrated. Very quiet rooms also very clean. Well located hotel. Recommended.

The room was fine but the lift was not working and had to drag our bags upstairs. Also, this was the first hotel that would not provide a little ice for our cooler.
