Bought one beer then left, no girls greet you or sit with you, they are all behind the bar. Would have bought some drinks for the girls if they bothered to come over and introduce themselves but they don’t. Not a bad i would visit again , the beer is more expensive then other nearby bars too

Worst service in Vietnam. The girl who took my order went and sat with 3 guys and clearly forgot me. The food was put on kitchen counter, chef rang the bell, and at least 5 other girls walked past the food . I had already been waiting 5 minutes for another drink. They look but don't see. I walk up to the kitchen and point at the food. They don't believe it's for me! Plate is taken around the bar before checking my receipt. I get food but no condiments, or cutlery. It's ok having "glamour girls" but someone has to be a waitress.

Went looking for live music & this delivered. The band starts around 8.00pm. Drinks were good, at a reasonable price. The waitresses were very attentive. I also had some food ( bar snacks ) which was ok. The food available was a wide choice.

Not a bad place to drink and listen to a live music. The food is pretty good and I like the fact that it carries Patron varieties vs Jose Cuervo. Staff speaks decent English and the place caters older crowds. It actually has indoor ⛳️ golf which surprised me a bit. Heard the group go out and play golf as well.

Great fun place. Wonderful Happy Hour Daily 3 to 7. All you can drink of few types of beer for US $5 or $6. Large staff so service is fast. Need to also mention staff is pleasant and very attractive.

Fun spot! They had a good cover band playing while we were there. I'd go back, worth stopping in for a couple drinks.

Service was amazing and the atmosphere was good. This is sports bar and they close early. Food could be better. There was alot of ants in our fries when we lift the basket of fries up.

A great bar, 170000VND happy hour from 4-8:30pm all you can drink served by the most beautiful girls in Saigon. It's not a pick up joint but it is a wonderful place for a beer with good food as well.

Probably the only bar along Pasteur that's not designed exclusively for extracurricular activities. Reasonably good service, plus a live band where you can do live karaoke. Food can be improved, but the drinks special for happy hour just can't be beat!

I enjoy this bar. It’s an expat bar so very easy to meet others. The girls are super friendly and fun and there is no pressure to buy them drinks or even tip them. The staff seem happy to work there. This bar is not at all sleazy like most of the other bars in the area. They have an awesome all-you-can drink happy hour everyday, too.

Been here many times, happy hour is great , good food and service can be a bit loud sometimes with roudy people,,but their just having fun .best safest bar in District 1.

First time visitor to Bar 5. Didn't know the bar shut at 1:00am. Bat lady kept asking if I wanted to buy another rink at 12:50pm, so I did. Was shocked to discover all the tv screens were turned off at 1:00am, which meant wasting the drink I had just bought. ☹️

Happy Hour beer tastes like it's off or stale this the 3rd time over several months this has happened and has also been experienced by my other long term expat friends here. Would only go there for the excellent food. Forget about the tap beer as it sucks. Update from my last visit 3 months ago the Beer still sucks probably the worst tiger draft in the area. Bar is fine in other respects one of the few no hassle bars left in the area however it will never be my regular Bar to go until they get there Beer problem sorted out. There are other options which really beat #5 in just about every way except maybe for people who like to dream about Bar Girls there.

I have been traveling to Vietnam for many years. And Bar No 5 was always a place where I felt welcome. After a 2,5 years Covid break for me, my experience today was underground. A waitress wrote down my name as “tomato” because of the color of my skin. So far so good. Shortly after, I was scolded by an unpleasant person... according to the terms... the manager. I would have to give my names or I would have to go. So please. I was never asked my name and I don't know some ID checks from Vietnam either. It was just insulting and outrageous. I didn't expect anything like that and I'm shocked. And I'm not aware of any guilt. Conclusion=> No more Bar No 5!! Easy but sad. Thankfully there are friendly bars

Been going there for years. The happy hour deal is an obvious magnet. Free pool is also a draw card although the table has been through the wars. Service is generally good. The girls can be hot and cold but I don't buy that many lady's drinks so no big surprise there. I also appreciate the free beer nuts.

Great place for a drink and game of pool! Lots of finger food options such as french fries, calamari, beef meat pieces, etc. Very close to many hotels in the vicinity. Opens til very late so feel free to head there for a drink after dinner.

The bar used to be reliable, which typically in Vietnam means that service is average, drinks appear on time, no scams, and you get what you pay for. But as the economy is still sluggish in SE Asia, employees and employers are losing their patience and it’s starting to show. Now even “C” average customer service is difficult to find here. Very few simple smiles or greetings, body language or appears that they could care less if you come or go. A fake smile requires too much work. With so many options on this street, eventually loyal customers will start to look elsewhere. They need new staff with fresh perspectives.

Cant say anything about the foods, didnt try. Spacious sportsbar, especially around pooltable. Affordable beers and friendly girls

Great fair price long time expat bar with good food and not the normal bs that goes on in pastuer street. If you looking for somewhere close to a western bar this has to be the one to come to. Only problem is Owner drunker ahole needs to be put down asap.

Sunday Happy Hour 5-7:30pm Free Flow drafts for 130k. Great eye candy too. I saw food being served... didn't get chance to look at the menu as there were so many hotgirls to see.

I am from India. I was introduced to this place by a Vietnamese friend (Victor) and thereafter I have visited this bar many times as a tourist since 2015...I have travelled to almost all the countries for almost 26 years... I am a nightlife lover and love pub hopping too all around the world. I CAN SAY WITH CERTAINITY...this is a cool place with a good ambience, to hang out, drink beer, eat delicious food , play pool, play your choice of music..and chat with girls who are friendly. The washrooms too are kept clean. I found them to be sincere with the bills and always serving with a smile (even during happy hours). The girls never force men to buy them drinks...and sometimes chat freely...[Unless there is a tight budget, usually any decent moral conscious gentleman should at least buy one drink (more the better😉) when chatting with any lady keeping you company in a bar...just a way to help her]..They are all beautiful in body and mind too as I've observed they can hold a conversation in English. Yes there are other bars in the vicinity where girls are available for all modes of companionship...and AS WE ARE ALL ADULTS...we should really NOT be judgemental or hypocritical or look down on any girl..(we don't have a right as everyone lives with different circumstances...SO RESPECT THE LADIES)..Just live and let live...and be happy in life . The pool table is free and when not occupied, I've enjoyed playing friendly pool bet games with the girls...(Deal with the girls: pay small cash 50000 to 100000 vnd to them if I loose -- receive a friendly kiss if I win) just for fun to make it interesting...Some of the girls are good pool players...and I remember a security guy was good player too...[Deal with him: only cash/ (no kiss deal😉) I strongly recommend this place to hangout...especially for beer guzzlers..happy hours is the best deal.

All drinks are professionally shaken or stirred and served. Had to wait a while since they are making drinks like one shot make a lot. Not too crowded yet, and the live music on Wednesday and Sunday at 7.30 pm is enjoyable The most reliable and long lasting District 1 Bar experience, where you can get the happy hour beer all you can drink deal for 130,000 VND, a really great European style meal, and conversation with local girls and Western patrons. The best place for a new visitor to start exploring Saigon's night life.

Low pressure big circular bar with excellent service. They had pool and darts in the back of the bar and the staff will join in if you wish.
