It's a street full of pubs. That's about it. Blaring musics. Girls dancing on stage. Tourist. Not recommended. Too noisy. But what really put me off is the people... There can be up to 5 persons grabbing my arms my bags to lead me to their pubs. I have to constantly struggle to keep their hands off me, and watch out for valuables.

It's super loud, it's chaotic and it's full of drunk people. Welcome to the pub crawl street. Music is blasting so loud that you can't even have a conversation. The street is dotted with pubs, clubs and girls dancing provocatively at the entrances to these places. It looks like a cyberpunk universe with all of the neon lights. In terms of atmosphere it's interesting to experience. What I thought was strange was seeing kids doing fire breathing. If you want to drink, party until your feet hurt and your vision goes blurry, go here.

Still good, still noisy. Now at the next level with bigger outdoor speakers blaring music on street every evening. The touts can be a little annoying but ignore them. Not a lot of good restaurants, the bars are the attraction.

If you are in Ho Chi Minh, this is a good place to have a visit. Great colors, foods and drinks. Open throughout the night. Place is very crowded even after midnight. Lookout for bikes and vehicles while walking. Beware of scams. Everyone says happy hour, buy one get one free, but they charge you for everything.

If you enjoy chaos, this is your street. It's loud. Like brain scrambling loud. The drinks are more expensive and if you're sitting down anywhere prepare to be hustled by children. When we went there were kids (5-12 years old) breathing fire and then demanding money. They were relentless. They turned down money if it wasn't a big enough bill, hold onto your arms, and they were even hitting one guy sitting behind us repeatedly. You will leave over stimulated but it's kind of a must see if you're in HCM city. I'm glad I went but will never go back.

When it comes to exploring the vibrant and bustling city of Ho Chi Minh, Bui Vien Walking Street stands out as a must-visit destination for both tourists and locals alike. Located in the heart of the city, this lively and colorful street offers an array of experiences that capture the essence of Vietnam's rich culture, history, and tradition

Great place for party lovers. A tip for all Have the beer in a cheaper place beside the strip club which have open dancing stands. There you can enjoy the loud music. Once you think you're in the vibe of the street after loading the beers, shift to the main clubs like COCO or LOST or anything that you want to sit in Price difference of the same beer: Bars with the dance stand: 91,000 dong Normal bars just adjacent to the dance clubs: 25,000 dong OVERALL, A MUST VISIT PLACE DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU DRINK OR NOT

I had some fun times there. Some of the places are good. Beer on the street side shops are cheaper than the bigger pubs there. But you can roam around on this street with beer feels nice

A wonderful place in Vietnam to visit... particularly after 3 am in the morning if you enjoy dance clubs, massage, loud music, dancing girls and all that makes HCMC such a well known place for entertainment. If the above is not what you are looking for I suggest maybe not the right place for you. Very quiet before 10 pm, then fun fun fun until at least 6am.

This walking area was so cool cause there's so many bars that looks so beautiful from the outside. You can feel the vibes when you walk in this area. There are many bars that have offers/promotions for drinks. I came here around on Friday around 7pm and it seemed too early cause there's not many people yet.

Damn crowded. Lots of people there. Shisha and drinks combo going. So come here to enjoy the nightlife. Music super loud but there are a few places to be. You can sit and eat and enjoy the music and chill here while watching the ladies dance away. You can tip them as well. But over all nothing much here.

A busy street - especially on weekends - but even weekdays. Used to enjoy going there at night and exploring. You can find street food to try, restaurants to sit in, bars to have a drink, and even club all night at. Loved it there.

Very busy strip of bars, food, and stores. If you know what you are getting into it can be a blast... If not, then it may be very overwhelming for some people. There is so much going on and people trying to get you into their bars that it can be a lot to handle, however I enjoy that type of experience every once and a while.

The place to experience everything Vietnam, from street food, and decent restaurants, techno to live bands. Beers are cheap. Can get really crowded. Would advise to be careful with pick pockets. Alot of drug pushers and pimps as well, just gently decline their offer and walk away.

An amazing street for all the night owls. If you’re jam is to get drunk, dance and look at really good women dancing, then This street is gonna be your worth. Please do check for prices before you guys order. It’s quite expensive and definitely do not suggest to take more than 2 He balloons per person. Overall a deadly place to have fun

A bit of a tourist trap but if you’re into loud music and hanging out with other drunk foreigners you’ll probably enjoy it. Not something I’d recommend for families once the sun goes down. Interesting assortment of eating places but the food is over priced and underwhelming. I wouldn’t recommend any of the hotels either unless they have soundproof windows. During the day it’s a pleasant area to explore but don’t expect any bargains of any kind.

The place to go for some evening and midnight fun in HCMC. Keep an eye on your belongings, pickpockets are happy to make something yours theirs. The bars can be loud and near deafening, but there are enough places to sit outside and have fun while looking at the crowd passing by. There are nice restaurants and cafes too, not only on the main walking street but also in the side streets/alleys.

I visited the street in March'2023 and without disappointment it is full of fun and livelihood, of course it is only catered for adults but not suitable for children. The far extended stretch of seats from each bar and clubs reaches out to the walking path(which is also a road), makes it difficult and in fact a little dangerous because of moving vehicles every now and then for family with children. Alike those club streets in Thailand, or Indonesia and Philippines. This street is equipped with the same kind of table top dancers, sexy ladies, drinking joints and some food vendors around but mostly it's for drinking and peoples watching. If you are planning of visiting the area, you might want to put your kids to bed before chilling it off there.

Always busy, always noisy, many more clubs than 7 years ago. The alleys and street side bars are still in business with cheap beer, good food and friendly family service, you should find what you require here. Have met many friends here over the years and love to visit when I can

Very lively street with great music, great vibes, cheap & good food/ drink. People will try and persuade you to sit at their store but if you don't want to, just politely decline and walk on. Street shuts down at 2am (or when police come hehe). Super fun spot!

(Translated by Google) There are exciting entertainment shows, enjoying singing, national music and international music. There are delicacies of famous restaurants such as Ba Sau small grilled village and Co Le barbecue. There are seafood, all kinds of snails, large to small, with prices ranging from expensive to cheap, are enough. There are also plenty of snacks that are great for a weekend walk. Chatting with friends at Cong Coffee, and street vendors are indispensable in Vietnam.

It is a very crowded place and various types of restaurants, night club and drinking bar. It is very convenience for traveler who wants to relax and have some beers. However, don’t book the hotel on bui vien street because you will feel the terrible noisy that wakes you up for whole night. Be aware of stealing and massage rip-off, always keep your phone and purse within eye contact. If you are first comer, you must come here to feel the true HCM night! 🎉

Just a street? Of course not... It happens to be my favorite place in Ho Chi Minh. Coming from countries like Thailand and Malaysia, you would expect Vietnam to be a bit laid back? Oh no.. It is even more fast paced and energetic. Loved the atmosphere and places around this street. It's an every night walk and so many cool pubs and clubs on the road which are open and full almost daily.

A lively happening place - Party mode on steroids! - interestingly no police anywhere and encountered no trouble. Find yourself a quiet place on the peripheral edge....and be a 'fly on the wall' and watch the circus of colour and party atmosphere!!

Not a fan. This is a nostalgic, shabby place for the backpackers from the 1970s. Totally empty, with a lot of pubs and (gloomy) massage parlors still closed in April 2022, day of my visit.

There is always something happening every day in this street especially after 5pm. Sat and Sun the road shuts and no cars are allowed through. PREPARE YOURSELF. You will get hounded up and down the street with lots of happy hour offers. The big clubs are expensive, pick a small club opposite one of the big clubs as drinks and shisha are alot cheaper but you can still see and hear all the music from all the various clubs. This street is great to people watch and to have a dance. It can be sad to see the women who bring their young children and babies out to try amd get money from you. I found it quite confronting. There is a great little chicken and rice cart opposite the sport bar. The Com Ga is 35k dong ( $2 aud ) And is such a good portion size, big crispy chicken leg on top of a big bed of tasty rice. Overall it's a must see even if it's just to sit down with a super cheap beer and watch all the crazy unfold before you.

Once and done experience with the best time to go is after 10 PM. Lots of energy, loud music, and good food with varieties of alcoholic beverages. It’s a little expensive. The annoyance is the bar/restaurant hostesses are pushy when inviting tourist to their establishments

This walking street turns into a clubbing place at night. Both sides of the streets were lined with bars and pubs you will be spoiled for choice... Loud music is played from almost every shop and it can be super noisy (LOL). Solo dancers can be seen dancing on a mini stage in front of some of the shops. Bottled beers are usually served here (sorry no 3L tower). The street can be super packed and jammed at times when motorcycle and human traffic blend in together at the same time. And pickpockets usually take advantage of this situation so beware of your belongings!! Otherwise this is an entertaining place for an evening of drinking and talking (if you are not deaf yet...).

Very beautiful street walks with city lights all over and many restaurants aggressively inviting along the street. People were friendly and the foods were great. I saw many bars offered drinks. The only concern I has was that there was some motorbikes ran through people walking.

Loud, loud, loud, Aggressive staff tried to grab you or push you into their bars. Sexy dancers on stage were enticing but not enough to buy a drink. There were people spitting fire🔥 in the middle of the street. They were really dangerous and annoying.

Sleep through the day, comes alive in night. This is most happening place in whole Vietnam. Party, bars, food, lots of beer. Everyone is welcome to get awed by the experience. Obviously this an "only adult" place. On weekends it's hard to find place in most of major restaurants. It even become tedious task to walk on the street, as tables are arranged on street only and bikes are integral part of these roads. waitresses will try to pull and lure you in their restaurants. Costs of food and drinks are exorbitant, but this is expected as it's for the whole experience. If not here then where in Vietnam.

Ho Chi Minh City's version of Phuket's famous Bangla Road. If you're after a great night, This is a must do however be aware of the people that will try and pick pocket you. Keep your valuables safe, my friend had his phone stolen from his pocket with in 10 minutes. Someone hit his shoulder from the right while the guy took the phone from the left.

The most happening place of Ho chi Minh City.. a stretch of approx 500m which has plenty of bars, restaurants and night clubs.. Open beyond midnight.. filled with tourists mostly foreigners all the time in the evenings mostly 7 or 8pm onwards. Lot of cheap open air small restaurants complimented by big bars and night clubs playing deafening music.. The road closes down vehicular traffic in the evening time but daytime it's normal and quieter.. Often compared to walking street of Pattaya.. but I don't think it's comparable with the one in Pattaya being way much livelier and crowded.. Still a place to be and have a feel of night life of Vietnam if u visit Ho chi Minh City..

This street is enjoyable event when many Vietnamese people are away for the holidays. Still waaaaaaaaay to many Vietnamese men smoking cigarettes near the walk way, in restaurants, in bars, and..... EVERYWHERE. There really needs to be a law or regulation on this.

  • 3/5 Naresh P. 4 years ago on Google
You walk down this road to get a feel for a wild crazy night. The street food is average and so is the beer. It's an experience to see the chaotic frenzy of bars with blaring music that blends on the street from different bars. There are some very attractive women also.

It is our favourite must visit plae in Ho Chi Minh, every trip! We love to hang around here for all kind of foods, restaurants, drinks, bar. Lot of hot chicks too. It is suppose to be walking street only, but still many local riding motorbikes crossing the street frequently as short cut. Quite dangerous though for visitors and family with kids. There is a traditionl to sit along the road side, drinking or eating with low height chair, kind of special thought.

The night scene in Bui Vein is alive and kicking. Perhaps, the most interesting sights are families with their children who joined in the Halloween celebration together with the rest of the party animals. They painted their faces and dressed up for the occasion.

This place is crazy! 😛 At night it's a feast for the senses, noise, music, food, heat, drink, lights, crowds, balloons and beautiful women! Definitely worth a trip to go bar hopping along the little cheap beer spots along the street to watch the chaos as it passes by! Much quieter during the day though and a good place to grab a munch and chill out :)

Quiet happening street in HCMC and must visit to have some drinks and enjoy the night life ambience. Walk across the whole street once and figure out a place to sit and have some drinks. Almost all places offer more or less similar priced drinks. It’s great place to have few drinks and chill especially during weekends

This place in Ho chi Minh City of Vietnam is a single straight street for entertainment purposes. The timings are from 19:00 to 02:00 but the best time to visit is after 21:30. This is the time when the street becomes live with entertainers. There are many restaurants and beer bars.

  • 4/5 Fayaz A. 1 year ago on Google

A very live, very dynamic, very diverse and very loud street (literally!) in the first district of HCM City that will bring out the party animal in you. Bui Vien is the heart of Red light district in Vietnam. You can have blast starting with club performers on stage in front of the street, an array of alcoholic drinks, to shisha, to helium, to weeds, to street peddlers together with their kids (yes! 7yo below), street performers, and to the girls offering you massage. This Street Has it All!!! Just be careful though to the "masaji" or they will rip off your wallet and leave your body aching (as my friend told me who tried massage)

Typical night life kinda place, with Booze, loud music, food and pole dancing in street side pubs... The place comes alive at around 8pm and keeps rocking till 2 or 3 am.. Go here if you're in the mood to party hard.. Good thing is there isn't any premium pricing for the location. Things are priced reasonably.

Crowded, noisy and chaotic. Just another Southeast Asian tourist trap. Great if you're a 25 year old backpacker and looking to get drunk. The restaurants across the intersection from the entrance to walking street have some good food. Safe travels, Mega.

It's crowded and traffic here especialy when weekend. A lot of pubs and bars with loud noise here. Nice area too sight seeing or looking someone to hang out or maybe hook up. If you are want quiter place to sleep, don't stay near this area.

A good party place with cheap beer and good food. There are places where you can get your own food and they will serve beer. Overall a good party place that runs till 4am. A lively crowd during my visit on Christmas and New Year's week.

Fun street to check out while you’re in the area. The club security/promoters can be a little annoying as they are trying to get you to come into their clubs. The big clubs played music that wasn’t really our taste. The smaller ones seemed to have better music in our opinion. Before we walked the street, we went to the nearby bar called The Hideaway and had a great time (great live band).

I came here on Friday around 2PM, and there is no such thing as "walking" street. May be the street will be a walking street at night? Practically no safe sidewalks at all, therefore I will not advise family with young children to walk here in a day time. Plenty of bars, few indian restaurants, a number of massage parlors but I didn't go to any of these places.

This is absolutely a crazy place. First night in Saigon and this is where we were told to go. It is very crowed at night and made for tourists who want a taste of the night life in Vietnam. Clubs and their welcome staff try to draw you in with cheap drinks and food. Drinks are not cheap compared to restaurants and other places you can buy alcohol (7 11 or Circle K). Each club seems to compete with each other as to who has the loudest music, lights and TV screens. Beware of ladies of the night, not sure if they work for the clubs or themselves but they seem to be everywhere. We found a sports bar that offered cheaper drinks than other places and was a lot quieter too. An interesting place to check out as long as you can stand the loud music, crowds and street sellers who do not give up trying to sell you something. Try not to make eye contact with them or they will zero in on you and they can be hard to get away from. If you don't want to buy anything, be firm, but politely explain no thank you and they should move on.

Maybe I'll feel differently after more time there to get a more complete experience, it's a street.....I walked all the way up it, though I felt like the only pedestrian at times. It's Vietnam so there are loads of motorbikes and some cars. I was mostly left alone but had to deal with several moderately persistent hawkers trying to get me to come with them for a massage, other than that the street seemed very sedate. It's important to note that this was on January 21st, new years eve basically, and it was mid day and very hot outside. I'll walk it again later and see it at night.

Arrived around 8pm - still early for things to really kick-up. Pub crawling is #1 activity - Please no kids ( walk straight through to know what's there). Enjoy the atmosphere with friends - good (very loud) music 🎶, plenty of drinking/smoking 🌬️, some street entertainers and great sights 💃🪩. Snap some pics and stay off your phone. Have a great time, saok in the vibe.

Amazing party place, drinks, nightlife, street food. Easily accessible and a lot of options for party and clubbing. Ms Saigon is the most famous, newly added Volcano club.

Super loud music . Go here if you’re half deaf and want to be fully deaf. I will not recommend the club in the middle of this street. Those bar at the end of the street seem more friendly and less noisy .

Crazy experience, very tourist and expat targeted as reflected in the prices and the intense hospitality of the staff trying to get you to enter their shops. They sell everything here though, balloons, cheap drinks, seafood, viet bbq etc Definitely worth a visit

We went thier for dinner lots of different restaurants on this street, and also lots of night clubs with go go dancer's. It's crowded with turist from all parts of the world. It's mainly were the backpaackers stay lots of cheap hostels. Not very family atmosphere.

It’s a great walking street with tons of bars, and live music and plenty of places to get good drinks. The price of beers and other drinks are pretty affordable for such a lively Street. It’s pretty easy to find tables to sit at places to chill and dance if you want.

If one has been to phuket walking street. Its just resembles the same. Just phuket walking streeet is way huge and crowded than this. Here I guess i could see more Chinese/Koreans and locals..and less foreigners. In phuket one can rather witness foreigners majorly. Its was good. One time go place after evening at night.

It has a lot to offer. If you are a complete extrovert and you are into clubbing then this place will be perfect for you! You can find Indian cuisine restaurants as well. So it was easy for me to find both booze and Indian food at one place! Hotels: A bit heavy on the budget. Food: A bit overpriced Beer: Quite affordable

Basically, it is an entertainment street in the center of Saigon, gathering thousands of people for street party. It does not offer high quality of entertainment but rather a depressing environment with beggars and people asking for money. Avoid having dinner in that street as the quality of food is sometimes terrible. Generally, an interesting place to visit from a fun point of view.

Cool party street! What a scene. All ages and nationalities. We listened to live music, drank beer and watched the world on parade. The beer and drinks are priced the same at every stop but some did offer 3 for 2, if you want to save. Amazing fish restaurant just out of the walking street gate. Not 5 stars for me only because the blaring thumping music from some places was not my thing but people were digging it.

Noisy, full of pubs and bars, and girls dancing on top of podiums on the road side facing each other, seems like high competition! Some people will aggressively trying to direct you to their businesses. It's good for one time visit just out of curiosity but I don't think I'll miss it or want to come back for another visit

Bùi Viện walking street is really fun on weekend, especially on Saturday night. Lots of choices on street foods , drinks, even vegetarian foods. Lots of bar and pub too.

The uniqueness of Bui Vien Walking Street is the vibe. The music from the pubs, the positivity of people and luscious food menus will blow your mind for sure. I had a 10 days trip to Vietnam, and got the best food from this street. As an Indian, there are 3 or 4 Indian cuisine restaurants, But I choose authentic Vietnamese food from here, and it was so good. The only negative I felt that, Its a walking street, but lots of motorbikes and cars are passing through this road every time. It’s a bit annoying. Apart from this issue, this street got its own vibes. Go and feel it guys!

This road is the liveliest place in Ho Chi Minh City. Loads of sports and 'dancing' bars. You will get harassed by women there, but it is a road you must walk down just to say you've seen it, as it is an amazing spectacle. I'm not sure what the food is like or the prices of drinks, as I didn't stop, as I guess it will be a bit of a rip-off, but I may be wrong. Women are 'grabbing your arm' for attention almost with every step. I doubt they are looking for a boyfriend!

Crowded. Super crowded. Lots of restaurants and bars. It was too much thou, girls and gays dancing on the table. First time seeing that 😂 I didn't really like the area because the road was open to cars and motorbikes, it was scary. You never know the next thing you end up getting hit by a vehicle. But I still recommend it to tourists/travellers who are visiting Saigon. It's a must experience

An experience not to be missed. The food and drinks are value for money. Do not get influenced by club persons trying to pull you in their clubs, walk the street and find a place you like with good music

Worth it to see. Magical and romantic atmosphere. You can enjoy some nice cocktails and the view is amazing, you can see all the city.

Pretty busy and fun. What I like here: you can sit in any Bar, having a drink and enjoying the atmosphare without a girl coming and asking for a Lady Drink. If you do not go in a Girliebar 😂😂 many pairs in any age aitting, drinking, watching. Watching the Freelancers try to catch Customers is better than Cinema 😃 All in one a much much more friendly place like walking street Pattaya or any Soi there. I walked there once and never again. Its a sensless shouting there and here they talk to you. I realized a big difference between Thai and Viet. My Point goes to Vietnam. Even if it is a walking party street. It has much more style and estethic. In my opinion. Sad like in all countries I have been last month in SE Asia. Mums use there kids late night to make money at places like this.

To all the Indian food lovers, in this street you will find Taj Mahal restaurant where you can enjoy Indian food delicacies. It is a very crowded place at night, but at the same time it is totally calm & quite place in the morning till noon. We visited Taj Mahal restaurant in the noon for lunch. Enjoyed varieties of chicken meals, Indian famous snack - samosa & really loved the taste of Indian food. Also the rates are reasonable. Anybody who loves nightouts & pubbing, this place is for you. Visit in the night, you will enjoy the DJ, party & drinks.
