If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, this isn’t the place for you. If you’re looking for Tex-Mex food that tastes great at a good value, you’ll like this place. The portions are generous and the servers are friendly and helpful. Also, to add, you can also order American-style Chinese food and a handful of classic American dishes like macaroni and cheese and patty melts.

The menu seems overwhelming with too many words so they have a photo album to choose which may be appetizing to you. I had a lunch set and it was satisfying. It had salad and the main dish with brownie for dessert. The service was fast and friendly. The atmosphere is homey. On the second floor is the American-Chinese dish.

Five stars with a caveat… This is the best Tex-Mex in D1. I went on a quest and ate at all of them… it really isn’t close. The prices and portions are outstanding. The salsa is a pico de gallo or salsa Fresca style with raw veg. The nacho chips are a tad thick but not unpalatable. The homemade hot sauce is very authentic flavored and reminiscent of Cholula or Tapatio. For 200k you get a ton of food and their margaritas are very generous. The lunch menu is quite good, with combo meals including taco salad, entree, and dessert brownie for 160,000d or so. Great value! They are adding an American Chinese food menu for upstairs dining. If you’re in HCMC and craving Mexican, you could do worse… but not better! The caveat… not a fan of the chips. They aren’t terrible but not as good as they could be. Even so, the restaurant deserves five stars for being so good in every area from quality to portion size to service.

Loved the food, service, and atmosphere at this resto! Portions were generous and prices were reasonable. Go give this place a try, you will have a good time here.

I've never been to Mexico, but until then (and perhaps after) this is the greatest Mexican food I've ever ate. The portions are very generous, I noticed other diners were having their left overs to takeaway but I came with an appetite and they didn't disappoint. Extremely flavoursome burritos, fried potatos and grilled cheese. To top it off, we had two incredible margaritas plus two shots of to die for tequila on the house.

Arriving later and needing food, we came across La Fiesta close to our hotel. The burrito was delicious, and huge. The tacos were good too. Highly recommended.

Nice decoration, good tacos and serving. However the parking place for bike isn't good. It's a bit hard to go up and park, and no one watches your bikes. They have good nacho for starter, mango salads is good also but the macaroni is a bit fatty.

Amazing Lunch Set (3 course) with your selection of different salads as starter, tacos/burrito/enchilada, dessert. Very delicious and authentic taste. Need to try again at dinner time. Enjoy great Mexican food in HCM!

Cozy Mexican diner doesn't reflect on how humongous the amount of food on a plate, and I love it! If the place can somewhat provide a parking space, it'd attract more locals.

Rating this as an expat from Los Angeles home of the Tex Mex food. This place is better than some places in Los Angeles area. With that said it is close to the real thing and if you need a Mexican fix this will do. Service is amazing and the decor is like any place you will find in America.

Very large portions. Friendly and quick service. Interesting take on Mexican food. Fair prices. Love the half shot of tequila at the end. A nice touch.

The staff was so cute, they are patient enouggh to explain about each dishes for me. You will be gifted 1 small salsa per table and 1 lime tequilla per person, and its not the mediocre one! its really yummy. 🤤. I ordered ole mole enchiladas and its just so charming (regardless the staffs have warned me about the taste because it can be foreign to vietnames). I was looking for green pepper sauce because i enjoy having them with spanish food so much but i cant find it. Definitely will come back

I had the steak tacos here. Big taco's stuffed with lots of meat. The meat needed a marinade. A decent salsa made it ok but not great. Small amount of black beans were tasty. I could only get through 2 tacos. Excellent service.

Fantastic food and fantastic price! We are here for dinner and we’re so full afterwards. We loved that you could order the western options and the Mexican options, so we got buffalo chicken tenders, prawn tacos and chicken chimichangas. All the dishes were great but the chimichangas were our favourite. The portion sizes are enormous but so tasty.

One of the best places to have Mexican in town of Saigon. Great and helpful staff. They have a kids Menu too. Tequila they serve is different from what I had in past. Great options for vegetarians too. Overall a small place with basic ambience but yummy food and warm staff.

Delicious tex mex food in Ho Chi Minh. Great range to cater to meat eaters and vegetarians alike. The vegetarian enchilada was delicious and I appreciated that they had vegan beans. Loved the spicy tamarind margarita, but the passionate frozen daiquri was lacking flavour. The portion sizers are very generous, we also ordered a mac and cheese (average, I'd stick to the mexican food) but were able to take away and enjoy the next day. The staff were excellent and very attentive, the chips and salsa free shot at the end of our meal was a nice touch. A great place to try if you want a break from Vietnamese cuisine.

They have the best lunch set menu! It includes salad, main dish, dessert and a shot of limoncello. They even serve free chips and salsa as appetizers. Everyone serves with a smile. Their margaritas are really good too.

The atmosphere, the service, the food, and everything was top-notch. Everyone was friendly in a very cozy atmosphere, constantly chatting with us while serving such a huge portion of a meal. If you are not familiar with Mexican food, the menus can be a bit daunting as they will give you 4 different menus for 4 ranges of food including even Mexican-American food. Would recommend 10/10

Pasta is super delicious. Huge portion, definitely worth a visit.

The food was very good, the service was ok and the restaurant environment was fun and lively. It's air conditioned and the beer is really cold, I definitely enjoyed both those aspects! They offer up a lemon tequila at the end of the meal for free to wash down your burrito, haha. And they take MasterCard and Visa. If you crave Mexican food like me you won't be disappointed.

Great representation of Mexican food. Got the Quesadilla myself, which I enjoyed but didn't think were anything special. The portion sizes are huge, so would be a perfect spot for dinner time.

This place was so delicious!!! My bf ordered tacos and I had their 7layer burrito. You pay around 180k for the dish but the portions are huge!!! Each bite is delicious🥰I’d definitely recommend coming here!! Also there are tones of veggie options👍🏻

When I came to the La Fiesta for lunch, I was first impressed with the Mexican decoration style at the restaurant. Food are so tasty and services are fast and excellent, I ordered 3 courses for 3 persons; however I have to say OMG...the serving proportion sizes are enormous. So I decided to take 1 course to go for my dinner hahaha. Price is reasonable compared to the delicious food and large proportion sizes. Altogether, I will definitely come back to your restaurant.

Fast service and great food. I am American but my wife is Vietnamese and it was both our first time eating here. I loved the taste, it reminded me of home and my wife who has never had Mexican before loved the flour taco's with beef I got her and my beef enchiladas where fabulous. I recommend to anyone I give them a grade of A+++++😉

Portions are extremely huge. order 1 burrito for 2 men and don't order anything else... still will make you full. If portion size is smaller than it would give a more pleasant experience... cuz too much left over food makes you feel guilty.

Nice decorations but otherwise the food was disappointing. If I’m honest I walked in with high expectations from other reviews but both of my food I ordered didn’t even taste Mexican. The burrito bowl was soggy and “muddy” and they gave me too much “smashed” beans. The rice in both dishes wasn’t cooked well and seemed like there was too much water in the cooking. I personally apologize to the owner as I understand he reads these reviews but my experience was truly underwhelming.

We just ordered 4 main courses from la fiesta. I have to say, having read about so many positive comments here might have given me too high expectations. We are big fan of Mexican food. But all 4 courses tasted bland and flat: ( We cannot taste the guacamole inside, nor the onion. Salsa Verde is not spicy, tomato salsa also boring... I don't think we are coming back again. I forgot to take pictures when food arrived. To update...the leftover from lunch we wanted to finish at dinner, but the pork burrito's already gone bad. Make us wonder if it's made fresh from lunch....

I'm staying a week in HCMC before leaving to Cambodia and am staying super close to this restaurant, so I had to try it as I'm a big fan of Mexican food. I was a bit worried as it is TexMex, but why not give it a try? Gotta admit that I had the best vegetarian burrito I had in years. They give you nachos with pico de gallo for free, which were already great, but the burrito (w/ salad) was just great. Fried beans'n'cheese apparently was a good combo. Will probably go back there and try the huevos rancheros next time. Staff was also super nice and quick. 5 stars, no doubt. 🙌

This is one of the best, if not the best, of the Mexican restaurants I've ever been to (not just in Saigon)! The 3 dishes we ordered were all outstanding and plentiful. The 2 Sharing plates could easily feed 3 or 4 hungry people 😋 Strong margaritas and very attentive service truly made this a really, really good experience. We're going back, for sure!

Delicious and creative new Tex/Mex in D1. Owner Mr Scott has created a massive menu of many dishes with his own recipe. Very interesting and bold. Definitely coming back to try other dishes. Side note of feedback to consider 1- possibly range a few popular hot sauce brands such as: Tapatio, Cholula or tabasco 2- Jalapeños for an added touch of flavor

Nice deco and vibe when we first walked in but everything else was not quite on point. The menu is confusing and not well organized. We ordered a chorizo taco and they gave us a beef mince and insisted that it was chorizo… The fried chicken was soggy on the outside, dry on the inside and not even hot. The portions are big but we ate less than half of our food…

It's been a long while since I had Mexican food and I have to say that La Fiesta serves really good ones. Do note that the portions are quiet huge.

I’ve tried La Fiesta twice to date and have really enjoyed my experience. The first time I had the Kung Fu Wok Combo Plates and was really impressed. Very generous portion size for a very reasonable price. The second time I shared nachos, Blue Cheese pasta and Taco plate. Was also impressed by the quantity, but wasn’t as impressed by the quality. Regardless, you be hard pressed to find better American - Mexican food !

This place is great, the food is very delicious, and the service is very good. This is a true Tex-Mex. My only complaint would be that we were not able to order 3 different tacos (so we had to get 2 different sets of 3) we tried barbacoa and chorizo tacos, plus enchiladas verdes :D everything was delicious and the serving size is super generous.
