Stir, the modern classic cocktail bar. Within easy reach of the market. We decided to find a cocktail bar after visiting the local market. Found this within a few minutes' walking distance. I must say not what I expected for a bar close to the market. Upmarket and with class, a range of cocktails have been imagined by the staff displaying the unique and visionary flavours found within Vietnam. The Vision Elephant, which I sampled, is created using all local alcohols and flavours found only in Vietnam. I would highly recommend a visit, the prices are higher than some bars we have visited but well worth the price in my eyes. If following Google Maps, please note that the bar is up some steps on your left when you enter a small courtyard area. Take the steps up and around to the 1st floor to find the entrance. They also serve food however we didn't try so can't comment.

Stumbled upon this gem of a bar, and it was so good, I came again the following night. Delicious takes on the classics, while bringing in local flavours like Pandan and sugarcane. Every drink I had was good. The bartenders are knowledgeable and can converse in English, even introducing their local liquors like Song Cai gin and Sampan rum. The bar itself is beautiful, proving a respite from the busyness of the streets, with well chosen music playing in the background. Finding it the first time was pretty fun, since it’s slightly hidden away, with the stairway tucked away in an alley. Highly recommend.

Definitely live up to their hype. Excellent cocktails with gorgeous ambiance. Friendly mixologist who can speak english rather well so he kept me company since I was coming alone. The location kinda tricky to find, tucked inside alley full of nail salons, turn left from there and follow the signage and take the staircase.

I always order G&T whenever I go to bars, this was one of the best I have ever tried. Portions are perfect and well balanced Vibes in the bar are great as well! Hidden but well worth the trip

We were reccomended this place by other travellers during our trip to Vietnam as we are not a big fan of the party scene. This modern speakeasy had a lovely ambiance, welcoming and intimate atmosphere. The team of mixologists were very passionate about the art and their drinks were unique and well balanced twists on classics. Many of the flavor combinations used in the drinks were based on local spices, herbs and flavors. The team there was also very friendly, chatty and reccomended drinks that paired well with our food. Overall one of the best bar experiences we've ever had.

My favorite cocktail bar in Saigon !! ... and I've been to quite a few. The staff is superb, the ambiance is laid back, and the mojitos are as good as the ones I've had in Cuba (thanks bartender Bao (sp?)) . As a matter of fact, I don't drink anything else when I'm there.

Beware the wobbly table...and the spilled drinks! Went there in a group of three last week. Cute enough place, slightly hidden like many of these places are in Saigon. Service was friendly. Each of us ordered a cocktail (reasonable quality). However, after a few minutes, the round table that we were sat at tipped, spilling one of the drinks completely. The waiter even came and spent ages trying to fix the table. But, the manager refused to replace my barely-drunk cocktail despite it being their fault for the poor furniture. Surely it wouldn't have cost them much in $, but they've lost our repeat custom.

Owner Leo and his team of mixologists quietly and efficiently pour, stir and mix delectable classics and signature cocktails, while also providing a few small bar bites as well…located down an alley and to the left and up some stair, Stir is a quintessential Saigon entrance speakeasy with a laid back attitude and accolades of being one of the Top 50 bars in all of Asia. Average drinks compare to other bar with the same price tag. Could be quite loud at weekend and weird service. We ask the staff to lower the music so other guest dont have to shout at each other but they refuse to do so.

A perfect speakeasy bar with top quality drinks. Can't imagine cocktails can get better then this. The bar is beautiful with comfortable seats. Wish we were in the city longer to try more of their creations. All the twists on the classics I have tried has been amazing.

Visited the highest ranking cocktail bar in town (#82 in 2023 by Asia 50 best bars) on Vietnamese women's day. The bar is located in old resident buildings, and you will find it upstairs. Good atmosphere inside with live band, but they only sung very old songs. To talk about the cocktail itself, it is not as delicious as it looks, especially the dragon-on-top one and snail-like one, they tasted so bitter as Chinese medicine...Or maybe to locals like them. The live band stopped by 12 am, so did we.

Amazing gem hidden away from the main street. The best place we’ve been in this trip. We went in a group of 6 and had a great time from the moment we stepped in. Drinks are well put together, and the food is top notch. Spring rolls and okonomiyaki were so tasty. Great service too.

If you can only visit one cocktail bar in HCMC, stick to this one. Ramos Gin Fizz is a must try!!

Loved their drinks! The bartender really took his time to stir the drink properly which is a good sign in mixology. He was also very constant in his stir at the same speed. Well deserved of the bar name Stir 😂👌

Nestled in an alley near Ben Thanh market, STIR was a fantastic bar. A quiet spot for a Tuesday, but the service was extremely friendly and fast. Great drinks, very good price for happy hour 6-8pm M-F. 10/10

The best cocktail place I’ve ever been. Try the twist of gin which is also their award winning cocktail. The place is well hidden but it totally worths the search.

This place is great. Each cocktail we had was well-balanced and inventive with excellent presentation. Love the dim lighting and friendly bartenders. Comfortable with a chill soundtrack.

Vibe was nice but a bit quite for a Friday night. Overall staaf was helpful and the cocktails looked good. Mine, however, was a bit strong.

This is a cool place, fills up quickly early Friday evenings and seems to be mostly locals enjoying the scene here. Mid to high range cocktail prices.

Great atmosphere, outstandingly tasteful cocktails that are complex and balanced. Definitely order their signature cocktails. Their Negroni with a jasmine twist was phenomenal. Very knowledgeable bartenders at this bar. Kièn mixes amazing drinks and I wish him luck on his mixology competitions.
