Great staff, service, drinks & food! Beautiful place to golf, eat and/or just relax by the firepit on the patio.

Hell of a note. Is Rockwind a private golf course? Showed up at 7:50 AM to play. Was told if I didn’t have a tee time I couldn’t play! Maybe 20 cars in the parking lot and I’ll venture to say half of them belonged to employees. Not even an offer to squeeze me in later or an offer to play the par three course! Guess my tax dollars aren’t good enough to play at Rockwind. Called the Country Club where I’m not a member and they said come on out.

Played this course Sunday 08/20/23. Great course. Great staff. Was warmly welcome by the young lady checking me. Greeted by Ben the club pro. And chased down by course management to return a head over I dropped. Amazed by conditions of greens w the heat. Course is in immaculate shape. Definitely worth the drive. Oh and food at the turn is great. .

Rockwind is the best public golf course in South East New Mexico. The course is always in great shape.

Nice to get a good view in a place of history and heritage, plus it's nice and quiet. Aside from the Disc golf or whatever that stuff is called, they seem to completely contradict peace and quiet.

Spectacular golf course out in the middle of the desert. One of the best if not the best municipal golf course I have played. Conditions were overall good, which is even more impressive considering we played in December (12/17/22). The course itself is flat but has a lot of character and challenging green complexes that severely punish errant shots. It makes for a good test. If you are a golfer and find yourself in Hobbs, NM… Rockwind Community Links is a must stop.

This is a nice course! First time here invited by a good friend and it does not disappoint! Best course in southeast New Mexico !

Divots all over the greens. For as much as we paid we expected better. Seemed like a high standard golf course but it was in fact not.
