Yesterday we drove over to Lake Logan State Park and checked out the park and marina there. Its free to enjoy!! There is a public boat ramp and fishing with license. There are picnic tables along with a swimming beach. Today was so lovely and the views were very nice.

This is a beautiful park. Beach is pristine. A family bathroom is available but don’t expect much from it since it’s not well maintained. The gift shop and info center was convenient. Reasonable price for some kids things and drinks. Some snacks, ice cream and drinks available too too. The paddle boats were $40 per her and boats with motors were $50. The kayaks were cheaper though. You or kids can play or swim but keep in mind there’s no showers or any water available to rinse off. We used our own portable water. The ground seem pretty good except duck poop everywhere. Crowd wasn’t bad on weekdays. We didn’t have to wait for anything. As in any other parks- No alcohol.

Great views and worth renting a boat for a couple hours. We caught some fish in our late afternoon visits.

My family discovered this lake while we were out on a drive this spring and it became our "summer spot." We've been about 6 times now whether it's for kayaking or swimming at the beach. The last couple visits were very disappointing which is the reason for the 4 stars. The beach has been covered in SO much goose poop and dead animals (fish and turtle) and the water was pretty gross. Really hoping these last couple trips were just bad days becuase we really enjoy this little piece of paradise tucked away in the hills.

Not much here by way of hiking. It's a pretty lake so worth driving around to see it, but if you want to hit some trails, nearby Conkle's Hollow is the place to go.

The pink lily pads are blooming! A few ducks in the picture too. Also the new treehouse cabin.

One of our favorite go to spots to kayak. It's easy to put our kayaks in and we have done so from a few spots around the lake. The water is relatively clean for a small lake. Pontoon and paddle boat rentals are offered but they never overwhelm the lake or make it seem busy and crowded. Occasionally, if the hocking river is up, the canoe livery will drop people at the lake instead to kayak and canoe. There is a dam on one end that attracts fishermen and tourists. I have been here from very early in the morning and have watched the sunset multiple times. It's always a beautiful place to visit.

Went here to try out my kayak. The kayak launch is right beside the beach (which is open) and there is plenty of parking on both sides of the road. It seems like a peaceful little lake (I went on a weekday, the weekends may be busier) with a few spots to explore.

Beautiful and Serene. Great place for paddle boating or canoeing. The beach is relatively small yet full of character. Delivers a great view of the fall colors with nearby parking and close by rest rooms and changing rooms.

Rented a boat for 2 hours, very nice to cruise the lake. One concern, my cousin fell going down to the dock. It would be helpful to have hand rails to help with walking on the dock. Workers were very helpful with first aid

We stopped to fish for a couple hours and let the kids out of the car. It was a nice quiet place to spend. We also noticed a couple eagles flying over as an added bonus.

Love it here. From the lake to the hills and cave's. All kinds of wildlife like deer, turkey and blackbear but they are not seen often. Hunting, fishing, hiking and more all in spot.

We highly recommend Lake Logan Marina!! Wonderful time on the 36ft pontoon!!! Much needed relaxing afternoon with family. Played on the beach and made sandcastles. Even hiked the one mile loop across from the beach!!! A great family adventure!!!

Beutiful and amazing, nice little towns near here, I will say the bathrooms that are right by the lale could use a lot of work and up-keep, other than the bathrooms everything was amazing!

Sand was a little rough and water was full of algae at certain spots but a great place to visit and go boating. Very beautiful. My son had a blast there and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

This is a review specifically for the Lake Vista hiking trail. The park service needs to do some maintenance to this trial. There is no sign for the trial, no trail markers on the trail and the brush is overtaking the trail making it very hard to see what is the trail and what is just a portion of wild woods. This would be a really nice little 1 mile trial if it were maintained. I hope the park will go in and add trail markers and clear the trail so it can be enjoyed. Our walk today on this trail was more stressful than enjoyable. Also—tons of pricker branches growing into the trail so be careful!
