We
stayed
for
6
nights
in
mid
November.
We
were
looking
for
a
peaceful
hotel
with
a
beach
and
a
pool,
with
an
all
inclusive
offer.
We
were
not
disappointed.
We
enjoyed
a
sea/pool
view
room
on
an
upper
floor.
As
we
were
a
little
out
of
season
the
hotel
was
super
quiet,
which
was
fine
for
us.
The
room
was
a
reasonable
size
,
clean
and
comfortable
with
a
small
fridge.
A
balcony
with
a
couple
of
chairs
to
soak
up
the
view.
Be
mindful
of
the
mosquitoes
which
are
about
in
the
evening
and
early
morning
(take
some
repellent
spray).
We
didn't
find
them
a
real
problem.
The
bathroom
was
a
bit
compact,
especially
the
shower,
but
it
was
ok
for
our
needs.
Not
so
much
storage
space
apart
from
a
couple
of
shelves
and
an
open
hanging
space.
There
were
a
couple
of
water
bottles
in
the
fridge
on
arrival.
These
are
not
replaced,
and
in
the
interests
of
sustainability,
you
are
encouraged
to
use
the
free
flow
water
station
in
the
lobby
to
refill
whenever
you
need.
A
good
idea.
Coffee
and
tea
is
also
available
on
demand
in
the
lobby.
The
pool
area
is
pretty
large,
and
the
pool
is
great
for
swimming
lengths
if
you're
looking
to
keep
fit.
Plenty
of
sun
beds
and
we
never
saw
it
anywhere
near
full.
There
are
two
beaches,
both
with
sunbeds and
shade.
Again,
really
peaceful
with
only
the
sound
of
the
sea
lapping
on
the
sand
to
be
heard. On
one
of
the
days,
a
party
from
a
cruise
ship
arrived
to
spend
the
day
on
the
beach.
There
were
still
no
problems
getting
a
sunbed.
There
is
a
single restaurant,
the
Sottovento, which
serves
breakfast,
lunch
and
dinner.
Breakfast
was
a
comprehensive
a
la
carte
offer
and
cooked
fresh.
We
didn't take
lunch
but
went
for
a
bar
snack
each
day.
There
was
a
good
choice
and
portions
were
good.
Dinner
was
a
set
menu
of
four
courses
with
a
choice for
each.
The
restaurant
is
Italian
style
and
I
have
to
say
the
food
was
excellent!
During
our
5
days,
the
menu
did
not
repeat.
The
staff
were
all
friendly
and
courteous,
and
service
was
always
quick.
In
some
cases
we
had
to
ask
for
a
pause
between
courses
:-).
Special
mention
for
Brian
at
the
bar
and
Tamique
in
the
restaurant,
who
really
went
the
extra
mile
with
their
friendly
chat
and
style.
The
hotel
is
not
in
walking
distance
to
anywhere
(maybe
"Le
Bistro"
French
restaurant
up
the
road)
and
you
would
need
a
taxi
or
a
hire
car
to
get
anywhere.
Taxi
to
the
airport
was
10
mins
and
USD20.
Taxi
to
English
Harbour
(worth
a
visit)
was
45
mins
and
USD45
each
way.
The
only
point
I
would
pick
up
on
was
the
toiletries
in
the
room.
This
was
the
only
hotel
on
our
trip
(we
stayed
at
4
different places)
which
did
not
offer
any
body
lotion/moisturiser
in
the
room
(and
we
did
check
with
reception)
and
the
liquid
soap
by
the
sink
and
in
the
shower
was
so
thin
it
was
like
water.
To
me
this
was
penny
pinching
and
not
what
we
expected
for
a
USD600+
per
night
establishment.
Overall
,
we
enjoyed
our
stay
immensely
and
would
definitely
recommend
the
hotel
if
you
are
looking
for
a
very
quiet
and
relaxing
stay.
