Fantastic French fries. Crispy, tasty, everything. Difficulties with the English language made it very difficult. The folks didn’t even speak Flemish which was quite a surprise, in the Flemish region. But did I mention their fries?

A genuine restaurant institution in Belgium. Best cote a l'os and fries miles around. Terrace is better than inside restaurant. A real treat!

Meat was ok, not amazing but ok. However, huge unprofessional problem : I asked several times for allergen (dairy) in sauce etc. to find out after starting to eat that the meat was cooked in butter, waiters acted as if it were ok saying there is just a little bit butter so don’t take another spoon. I was lucky I had emergency medicine in my bag.

My second time here. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The meal was delicious. For english only speakers, they do not have english menus but they make an effort to help you understand the choices. Google translate is your friend. The terrace is lovely when the weather is nice.

Nice and established restaurant serving delicious 'groene paling' and T bone steak. Frites are being served - so always fresh and warm. Nice appetizers too and very good service and wine recommandation. Good desserts too. Nice restaurants for occasions. We'll be back!

Visited Tissens for the first time yesterday. Would not go back. Meat served was inferior quality, decor outdated and unfresh smell in the air. Would not recommend!

Excellent Kitchen for an effortable Price. 3 persons including drinks for 140€ is based on the food quality not really a lot.
