It's a little bit strange that the best thing I got from here is the burger but that's the case. Get the burger and add spicy gyro meat to it. It was insane how good it tasted. Just wish the bun had more structure. The rice from chicken tawa and combo plate was a little dry but I don't even care. That's how much that burger hit the spot.

Let me let you in on a little secret: the best Halal burger in Chicago. This burger is not on the normal menu and must be asked to be specially made. Ask for a double angus beef patty with everything on it, extra sauce, grilled onions and Jalepeños, and garlic sauce on the side. You can choose to add spicy gyros or not depending on how full you wish to be. The service is amazing but bear in mind that they have extremely limited seating (enough for 1-2 families at best). This burger is single-handedly the best specialty burger in the Chicagoland area, and I Highly recommend it

I never knew they sold burgers until a friend told me about it!!! They need to add burgers to their online menu as well as their grub hub/door dash menu as well..... the taste it superb and tasty without a doubt; each bite has the wonderful flavors throughout the burger and not too much overflow of the toppings. The lady and the man running the place always take care of me and give me extra sauces to try out with my fries which I appreciate! Also the prep guy in the back is always positive and very smiley! Love the place and will take my lunch breaks here when possible!

I’ve been eating at Falafil Hut for about a year now, and I swear it gets better every time. There was a point in time where I would have it once a week at the minimum. The beef shawarma is SO amazing, out of any other shawarma I’ve tried, nothing will beat this. And the garlic sauce? To die for. I get like 4 extra every time I order. I’ve never found another sauce like it. Everything always tastes so fresh and there is so much food in the platters! The staff/owners are always so friendly and I’ve never been unhappy with my orders. If you’ve been debating trying it, do it. You won’t be disappointed.

*** updated : I’ll give the owner the benefit of the doubt that my husband accidentally ordered falafel wraps. However, the rest of my review still holds true: Falafil Hut used to be a 5 star restaurant, but over the last year, the quality and flavor is just unacceptable! Can you at least make the food like you used to?! The spicy chicken shawarma wrap is not spicy at all- 0 spice. I know the difference between regular and spicy, I even tasted my daughter’s wrap. All 3 wraps were just regular, so my husband and I were disappointed. Some of us don’t live next door to bring the unacceptable wrap back for you to replace it.

A friend told me about the burger here and it was amazing. I got a few other items and they were all just as good. Love the food and the service was great. Super friendly and helpful! I will definitely be going back for more. I highly recommend giving it a try!

We were looking for a good halal burger place and thank god we found this place! Their burgers are just amazing!!! I tried their chicken shawarma too and that was great as well, I would highly recommend this place to any burger lover who is looking for some real good beef burgers. Try it and you won’t regret it! Only issue is the space, you can still sit and eat there but it’s not for a big group. People who are running this place are real nice too, it’s always good when you see a smiling face!

Rice came burnt and we could barely eat it. However, the quality wasn’t as bad as the customer service. I’m pretty disappointed on how the situation was handled, instead of offering me a refund or some compensation the employee told me to bring it back and prove to them that the food was bad. They just assumed I was lying about the food to get extra food. Unfortunately, I have two kids and was alone at the time and was not at the liberty to just drop everything and bring the food back. To just assume that everyone was close enough to do that is unreasonable and unrealistic. Just terrible. Well, since they wanted proof.. here’s pictures along with a yelp review.

This place is heaven on earth. Everything they cook is so perfect. My fav is their beef burger, they have optional gyro on top but I just like beef . They have Zabiha Halal meet and chicken. Absolutely best.

The Burger are worth it. Tried both double cheese burger and Chipotle burger with spicy gyro. Definitely get the spicy gyro with the Chipotle Burger. It had a lot of flavor. The cheese burger was lacking flavor like but it was. Both burgers were fresh Definitely not frozen and the buns were crispy.

Our first time trying this place last week. They were booked with orders for the evening (currently Ramadan and many customers ordered food ahead after breaking their fast for the day). They mentioned they weren’t taking any more new orders. But, they made an exception and made us the most delicious burgers we’ve had in a long time. I know it may seem weird to say about a kabob place, but try their burgers. It’s worth the trip and the wait. Thank you to the kind lady who squeezed us in last week. We are grateful.

Some of the best food I've ever had. Drove all the way from Lake in the Hills to eat here, that's how good it is. Spicy chicken shawarma is mouth-melting delicious. Best advice is order online.

Best food best service They really went the extra mile to make our experience better. Set the table nicely and the sweet old lady kept bringing us condiments. Definitely coming back next time

Wow. I'm baffled. It's been a long time since I've written a 'less than stellar' review. (Especially with regard to a venue that is otherwise so well reviewed by other people) I paid $20 for a combination platter. Supposed to be chicken & lamb. I'm supplying photos of what I got. The 2 tablespoons of salad I consumed before taking the photos. I feel like I paid $20 for 2 cups of rice with somewhere between a quarter to third of a cup of chicken & lamb (which I'm very confident was mostly beef) and somewhere between 1-2 tablespoons of hummus. This was the most disappointing experience I've ever had at a Mediterranean restaurant. I'm giving it 3 stars only because I don't want to be a complete jerk. The flavor was decent. Nothing over the top spectacular. But as I said, I'm confident the 'lamb' was mostly [ground] beef and I don't anywhere think there was value for the price paid. Hand 'for scale' & angled shot to show I paid for piles of rice. I absolutely wouldn't revisit. And 99 of 100 times I'd give most places another try.

If you don’t try the spicy gyro burger with all the trimmings, you’re missing out! This burger was one of the best things I’ve eaten in a while. The burger sauce on this thing was amazing! Definitely a repeat customer!!

Disappointed ! usually they prepare a good food. Ordered chicken Tawa rice today and the meat was undercooked. chicken pieces were burnt to black and couldn’t even eat a single bite out of the whole box. was literally feeling the burnt taste and tiny stones in the rice. The food taste has not been consistent ( only chicken tawa rice- because I only order that every time I visit them. Had to dump everything.
