Amazing hotel! Breakfast and dinner are spectacular. Rooms are great, especially if you're willing to pay a bit more to get the bigger rooms. Sauna and pools are great and never busy. Attaching sunset over the mountains. View from resort. And room view.

This wellness spa is an absolute must and I'll definitely visit again (and again)! The service I received from check-in throughout my stay was impeccable. Everyone was courteous and friendly, in both German and English. I signed up for two separate spa treatments and both were great!

Great hotel which will fulfill all your needs Everything was great, far exceeding my expectations. Stunning property, pool area and gardens and outdoor seating was lovely. The breakfast was very nice with a full selection of different types of choices. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.The overall atmosphere was amazing.

We had an incredible stay here - everything was fantastic from the spa to the room to the food. The glass of sparkling wine on check in during the property tour was a nice touch and the amenities are five star. We stayed in a comfort Falkenstein panorama room which was spacious and well designed, plenty of shelves and hooks to store our belongings and spa robes and a nice sitting area. This is the cleanest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in, everything was sparkling - the only complaint we had was the design of the shower which caused water to leak out onto the bathroom floor. Hans and Paul were excellent for our dinner service, the wine room offered incredible selections of local and imported wine and the breakfast buffet here is extensive and delicious. We will be returning for a longer stay the next time we are back in Bavaria!

Let's start with the good: it's clean, the breakfast is fantastic, especially the housekeeping staff are very friendly. But for a hotel of this kind I expect more. I expect to be told about dinner times upon arrival (that is, when do I need to let them know I want to dine in and what time do I need to be there). Some of the reception staff was downright rude when we came down to ask for something to eat on the first evening (at about 8pm). There was no suggestion, no alternative offered, nothing. You can drink plenty! The hotel is huge, it takes a while to navigate (again this would have been good to make clear on arrival). The level of English is sub par (though I'm fluent in German so that helped a lot!). The décor is very busy, it's trying to be trendy - but it's somewhat lost soul in the process. The room was ok, huge balcony - tiny bathroom (no tub). All that said, it's a fantastic location! And if you want to be active and do your own thing it's probably worth it (though I won't stay there again). We had hoped to have a spa day in between activities but both didn't feel comfortable to engage the services.

Excellent service! Breakfast buffet is large and the rooms are comfortable and quiet. Massage services were wonderful. Views of the Bavarian pre-Alps were outside the rooms and the pool areas. Very relaxing!

It's a nice place. I love the location, the service, the breakfast, the bar, the personal. But, but the room.. we had a dirty spoon sitting on our patio, it was tiny, no tub, no AC, no fan (during summer) so the room wasn't worth the money in my opinion. We didn't have an iron (they offer a n ironig service but you have to pay). Let's get to the good things: We arrived and the receptionist explained everything we needed to know, got us champagne and chocolates, we have been escorted to our room. The bar was amazing. Prices are reasonable, the staff is excellent (shoutout to our waitress, I don't know her name but she was amazing) and the ambience was great. The breakfast was a huge selection. I swa so many things I wanted to try.

The König Ludwig is within sight of Neuschwanstein Castle The hotel has 4 stars + and see good reviews on google. That's why we chose it. The hotel is in the price category €400 per night, including breakfast and a 5-course dinner. pros and cons + + Super friendly and always tried staff. That deserves 5 stars! ++ Excellent location for trips to the royal castles or the Zugspitze ++ good wellness offers ++ good breakfast buffet ++ Nice bar ++ Large selection of drinks ++ Storage room for bicycles and charging facility for e-bikes + Sauna and pool area are ok for this price category +/-Dinner is ok, but often over-engineered. Simpler and good would fit better. Some courses are simply wanted and not skillful. It's just not a star kitchen - The rooms are ok, but getting old. Very nice rooms. Nice dinner comes with the stay. Excellent bar and bartenders. Beautiful views and pool. I did not get to experience any other spa facilities or breakfast. Would absolutely stay again.

Rooms and service overall excellent. Room is missing air conditioning to be perfect. Only snatch in service was a torn chain on a rental bike. The refund of the rental price was nice, however doesn’t replace an experience of a bike tour through the alps.
