Let's
start
with
the
good:
it's
clean,
the
breakfast
is
fantastic,
especially
the
housekeeping
staff
are
very
friendly.
But
for
a
hotel
of
this
kind
I
expect
more.
I
expect
to
be
told
about
dinner
times
upon
arrival
(that
is,
when
do
I
need
to
let
them
know
I
want
to
dine
in
and
what
time
do
I
need
to
be
there).
Some
of
the
reception
staff
was
downright
rude
when
we
came
down
to
ask
for
something
to
eat
on
the
first
evening
(at
about
8pm).
There
was
no
suggestion,
no
alternative
offered,
nothing.
You
can
drink
plenty!
The
hotel
is
huge,
it
takes
a
while
to
navigate
(again
this
would
have
been
good
to
make
clear
on
arrival).
The
level
of
English
is
sub
par
(though
I'm
fluent
in
German
so
that
helped
a
lot!).
The
décor
is
very
busy,
it's
trying
to
be
trendy
-
but
it's
somewhat
lost
soul
in
the
process.
The
room
was
ok,
huge
balcony
-
tiny
bathroom
(no
tub).
All
that
said,
it's
a
fantastic
location!
And
if
you
want
to
be
active
and
do
your
own
thing
it's
probably
worth
it
(though
I
won't
stay
there
again).
We
had
hoped
to
have
a
spa
day
in
between
activities
but
both
didn't
feel
comfortable
to
engage
the
services.
