Beautiful lake in the state of Bavaria close to Füssen and very close to the German-Austrian border. The water is very clear and the surroundings are indeed gorgeous with mountains and green pastures. During the winters, the lake gets frozen and skating is a popular sport done on it. During the summers, this lake offers a great place for a hike around its perimeter. Definitely recommended... Top place!

Perfect lake for a walk around. The walk can be extended by a hike up to Alatsee through a very nice forest path. Only the car noise from the road close by can be a bit annoying.

Beautiful lake with a nice 6 km long hike around it. Probably in summer it's even more nicer than on April.

Wonderful place for a day trip.

One of the clearest & warmest lakes in Germany i have ever seen. It has a beautiful green /blue color and it has a nice temperature in the summer. Although the lake is not very big, there are many spots where you can lie down and swim.
