The highlight of my stay here was the semi-personalized breakfast buffet. The staff were so cool and my room’s view is nice.

Simple yet pleasant and peaceful. Stayed one night in their clean, double room. Service was prompt and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Beautiful view of the Alps and quiet retreat from the touristy parts of town.

Great place to stay and a wonderful sauna/spa that’s worthy of 5-star hotels

We arrived late in the afternoon and the staff recognize me as soon as I talk to her. They have private parking place and offer free parking. The room is clean and comfort to stay. Very nice breakfast and the staff is super nice and warm. We also tried their sauna and have good rest after a long day in Neuschwanstein. The only thing you need to note is that there's about 20 mins walk without a car if you want to eat out.

Fantastic location, close to the lake as well as a nice medium length walk to neuschwanstein castle. Rooms are very spacious, clean and well furnished, breakfast service is complimentary and provides a very wide spread.

This was the second time, for me and my wife, to stay at Hotel Maximilian . We have enjoed once more the relaxing atmosphere, the Spa facilities and the wouderfull ospitality of Christina and her Team. Everything is in a perfect Bavarian harmony, all the Staff personnel will provide help when necessary and they will also in suggesting the best place to visit, all around there are lot of, accordind to the time available. Also the food is great, simple things but of very good quality and since we are Italian, everyone knows our "big" attention on this matter. We really hope to come back soon and visit in a different season this beutiful country, relaxing again at Hotel Maximilian.

So amazing, clean, amazing delicious free breakfast with everything you could want. And it is also the most quiet beautiful area I have ever stayed at. highly highly recommended.

Relaxing and nice place to stay. Away from tourist areas but close enough to walk to. Great B and B feel with nice breakfast. View of the mountains was incredible. Two minute walk to Forgesee Lake.
